Checked the site, not a bad deal if you have a card you are not going to use. The conversation looks to be 50% of the card value. So is not a good deal unless you never are going to use the gift card as you would lose 50%. That the equivalent of using a creditcard and paying 50% interest. Not attacking the deal, just spelling out what it is offering. Of course they would not do it for free. But my own opinion the conversation rate is a tad high. I had seen this similar payment method on Videobox as well on a VPN site, not for sure which VPN, but my question is, what do the sites do with them? I mean, I understand the site would take virtual possession of the remaining balance on the card, but are they then using them to shop? Probably not as serious as a question as it looks to be. I'm just imagining Denys shopping on Walmart's website. Are we going to start seeing models dressed in lingerie from Walmart? Or maybe the sites will just use them as rewards for employees? Hello PornUsers, Thank you for your interests in this thread. Just to make things a bit more clear I would like to point out that the remaining balance from the gift cards is traded for cash, basically it works like any online store that offers this service. We received feedback from some of our members who wanted to use gift cards for a membership, because they haven't used them for their initial purpose and also because they wanted to be anonymous. Luckily Paygarden came up with this solution and now we are able to provide this service for our members. It is not something that makes us rich, it is rather an alternative to offer a better service and a reply to the feedback we received. Indeed is a bit more pricy but this is due to the high billing fees. In order to cover more niches we implemented the Gift Card payment on some of our other sites, besides DDFnetwork. Much appreciate the ability to use gift cards on porn sites for anonymous membership. I hope more sites adopt this method, as it makes it possible for us ADULTS to do what's right ..... pay for porn that was surely not free to produce .... while keeping it out of our financial records for a myriad of reasons. Since DDF apparently responded to customer demand in this regard, I would urge people to contact other sites they wish to also adopt this payment method. I signed up for DDFnetwork using a gift card..... it's a really fast and efficient process. Trickle slow download speeds I hate to say though. I hope it's not somehow due to the fact that I used a gift card. Hopefully just a temporary network issue. Please everyone use this thread to alert us to others who use the gift card method. Thanks for your Kind Words rollingrock. Yeah we figured it was a great way for people to be anonymous, as we all enjoy seeing Good Adult work, Human Nature, but yes many reasons why one would prefer to be anonymous. Regarding the DL Speed, I truly apologize about that. We have been migrating all of our content to Highwinds for much faster streaming, but I havent been happy with the service from our current provider regarding our DL's. They have an FAQ you can read at the bottom of the screen you get after selecting the gift card option. That is one of the questions and the answer is no, you can't. | |

In the UK old paper vouchers used to last indefinately but a lot of the new plastic loadable cards seem to have fairly short lifetime now of a year. That is not long and I have a couple that have pretty much gone out of date as I just don't use those stores. I would rather have 50% of something than 100% of nothing so personally I think that this is a good option to have. Not sure if it works in the UK though but a positive vote from me for the concept. | |
