PP just made a telling comment in his review today of Face Down Ass Up University. He made the point that fully & part clothed can be very erotic, more so than more explicit material. He is absolutely right. It has distilled out an important market gap that fans of striptease seem to be falling down at the moment. There are non-nude 'tease' sites. There are 'artistic nude' sites. There are so called 'softcore' sites focussing on masturbation & toyplay rather than the more erotic tease. I would call them midcore not softcore.  Back to my initial premise. Please may we have more proper tease sites going to coy & explicit full nudity, but staying softcore? Ie no masturbation or toy play, which destroys the illusion of a lady that wouldn't dream of taking her clothes off for the camera. The only two sites I ever came across that even came close to our ideal were: "Village Ladies" and "Southern Charms" (some of the ladies). Trouble is quality in both was iffy if not downright terrible, and some of the ladies who did that complete strip from ordinary clothes to complete nude were a bit hard on the eye. Yes, I can sympathise. Every so often my enthusiasm dips.....  It always returns quite quickly though! There are a lot of sites which are soooooo close. They either lack fully clothed shots or full nudity, or if they have that they race past simple nudity to toy play & gynacology. Cap'n. No sorry, not enough girls to choose from for me and looking at the full stable, I only like Ava Lou, Roxy & Robyn Alexandra. I know you've had your eye on onlytease.com previously going by the comments run on that site... (nb. Yes, models levels does seem to be a recurring issue for this genre. Obviously it is a problem that generic hardcore sites do not have. You are quite correct though JBD. As has been suggested earlier in this thread, I wish a site would pick up on the Village Ladies style and do it in a more up to date fashion. There is a lot of unexploited mileage in the idea IMO. Sophisticated youngish & mature ladies, nicely dressed, both formal & casual, who you would think would never dream of taking their clothes off for the camera. Prim & proper. I think there is plenty of scope within the format for variety. Once you get regular models established, I think return visits in a variety of outfits should provide some nice variations. Some variation in the set might help. Auxilia has found a couple of sites which seem to be doing OK just featuring ladies stripping from riding gear. Now that IS a limited niche! I am sure I am far from alone in liking this type of material. Why is there so little catering for us? Fully clothed to full nude. It is not as if it is a difficult subject to cover. I am not the Cap'n, Ed, just wanted to add a comment. The Village Ladies concept is so simple: take women who look quite ordinary, who are at an age that is considered a bit past (porn) prime and have them slowly undress until they are naked. The thrill is in the fact that they look so much like everyone's neighbor, a neighbor who would not ever, in a million years, consider stripping publicly for anyone! Yet there they are! The ideal site for me would be quite softcore, containing basically the above mentioned ordinary models undressing .. hopefully, for my sake, while wearing vintage lingerie .. until naked. In order to gain more customers you (or anyone who starts a site like that) could even add some attractive models that jump the "ordinary" mold as long as they are not the glamorous porn star type. What VL is lacking is loving dedication to the site. The photo sets cannot be zipped, most of them are in a much smaller format than the modern porn user wants and the webmaster is a surly person whose attitude is take it or leave it. I am talking from experience! Just thought I'd sum the subject up a bit because I realized that the term "strip tease" could also mean some hot model slithering down a pole! PS. Well at least I've got the photosize and quality sorted, all available in zipfiles, and A-M-O-C.com has always specialised in the stripping, but solo strips only make up about 25% of its updates (I'm not going to start listing features here - too much like spam!). The lingerie side of things is A-M-O-C.com's weakness there. I've tried to increase it recently but I've never really got as far as the full-on vintage thing. My models are usually in the 20-30 age range but, although I have featured older women, it's really not the norm and I've never gone nearly as mature as VillageLadies. What I'm working on now might make the site appeal more but realistically it's going to be a couple of months before that makes it onto the site. First of all let me compliment you on your discretion, Ed, because you certainly haven't used this forum to promote your sites and have therefore become a trusted member. I must confess that after your reply above I visited AMOC for the first time and liked your tour and the concept very much. I can also see where it would be a bit of an anachronism to put young women like that into vintage lingerie. Just to illuminate things a bit: when I write "vintage" I usually mean just one thing, please don't have the models wear those accursed thongs .. in a strip sequence a naked bum right from the beginning defeats the "tease" factor. This is my biggest beef in connection with this confounded Brazilian invention. Let's have full back nylon/silk panties and leave them on long enough to build up the anticipation of what's to come and I am happy. Yes, you are very likely correct on that, Ed. As to my friend, M's vintage lingerie penchant; it can work with younger ladies if they are completely outfitted in vintage clothing. Prefrably with period hairstyles & make up. Pin Up Wow is close but follows that specific genre so closely it features little in the way of full nudity, let alone clear full frontal nude shots. Personally I think you could go that far without destroying the illusion too much, but I suspect apart from the Webmanager's preferences, model levels could well be an issue too. Actually I am yearning not so much for the good old days but for some pictures where the models wear a bit more than socks and a thong. So, vintage is a bit of a misnomer. I know I have used the term often but it is not so much the old girdles and bullet bras, and beehive hairdos etc. I am craving to see. No, in fact currently it feels like I'm going backwards. Almost all of my day-to-day efforts are just on promotion work these days. It's pretty depressing really - having to work flat out just to stay afloat. It's not really conducive to developing new stuff Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity. | |

I think it is self fulfilling prophecy in the respect that if there is little or nothing to choose from not many people will be subscribing. I mean just look at the quantity of views on this thread! Probably, but unfortunately if there are not many people subscribing, then investing money in new material/sites in the genre is risky or impossible. I don't think many sites, given the current market condition, will be keen on risking investment in anything uncertain right now. I made my investment and, so far, it has yet to pay off.
