Where the hell is everyone? I realize that we're in the dog days of summer here but that's no excuse to leave all the forum posting to the two big dogs ("Drenner" and a few others. It seems like were down to about 10 or so regular posters. Edited on Apr 20, 2023, 11:33am

In some ways the new format for TBP reviews is an improvement. On the other hand, when I read the new reviews, I get the impression that they are adding puff that praise the sites being reviewed instead of giving a balanced opinion. Even though the reviews at PU are not written by professional reviewers, I find that some of the reviews are as good or better than what is available at TBP. I find reviews by a lot of members are easier to read, to understand, to believe (in their judgments). Some of the better reviewers include: Drooler, Cybertoad, Toadsith (who seems to have disappeared for a good while), mbaya, Wittyguy, GCode, exotics4me, Denner, and a bunch of others. The last couple of reviews by turboshaft have been awesome.

I'm definitely here! It wouldn't be a proper day if I couldn't make my way to the forum. I just hope there's no Brutus waiting behind a column somewhere. I agree that we need new blood and more participation by some of our members. I've voiced enough personal opinions over the months and would love nothing better than to respond to something new and different instead of beating each subject that interests me to death! :-) So, come on in, lurkers. We won't bite, even our pit bull and German shepherd won't, we'd be really happy to see your contributions.

I also noticed that a few of our long term members are no longer doing reviews or joining in the forum. I hope that it's temporary or at least that we get some new blood. I notice the Dracken has been doin quite a few reviews. Now he needs to start sharing his thoughts in the forum. Long live the Brown Coats.

Personally I think your site is pretty healthy. You have your regulars, then you have some new members who pop in now and again, then you have some like Ik2 who joined and have kept contributing. I can only speak for myself but the one reason I have stopped contributing is because of censorship over free material. It's just a personal thing. I haven't made a post for about 3 months now and wasn't really intending on saying anything like goodbye, simply because there may have been something I agreed with or disagreed with so strongly, I may have felt I had to make a comment. Anyway I am here just about every day, reading with interest what people have to say. It's just I have gone back to being an observer rather than a contributor. The owners have their own quite legitimate reasons for not allowing discussions or posts about free material. They have the right to ask people not to discuss that subject. I have been a member of a few forums and the only ones I have left have been due to censorship, or over management, or over zealous moderation. I feel uneasy about contributing to any site that has censorship. That is just a personal thing. There is no right or wrong about it. The people who run PU have every right to have that policy, and I have every right not to contribute to a site that has that policy. This place is fun and I wish you all the best. I am always checking in, it is just I will not be contributing. I am just one ex poster. I don't know the reasons some of the others are contributing less. I do know that nearly every forum has a very high percentage of members compared to contributors. Guess that's the way it will always be. Rarely does a day go by when there isn't something I have wanted to comment on. You guys come up with some great stuff. I have just restrained myself on principal because I have always hated censorship and restrictions on freedom of speech. I guess this is my official last post. Take care everyone.

There's nothing wrong with being a lurker instead of a poster. I was lurking on this site for a long time before I joined. If you ever do want to post again, please feel free to do so. Your thoughts and ideas would be welcome reading. Wishing you the best, TheSquirrel.

I really enjoy reading the post everyday though. You guys keep me in stitches. Most of my breaks during the day are spent reading the forum. I'm here just about daily. I'm still putting in my two cents where I feel the need to, but I guess you could say I'm "porn bound". There aren't enough sites out there that really appeal to me, and reviewing the same sites over and over again gets old. That might be part of why the site's slowed down some. Maybe people have realized that sites really don't change enough to warrant their being reviewed to death. I guess if I was here just for the raffle, you'd see reviews for IFeelMyself and AllOver30 every few months from me. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

That's a good question, that last one. It's great that the 2.0 reviews have so much more detailed info than the previous ones. (I'm obviously less sceptical than I was at first.) Whether the PU contributions had an influence on TBP, I'm not sure, but it's possible, and if so, we've done well, lads. But at PU, maybe we're just in a waning phase, and the waxing will resume soon enough. I remain optimistic about seeing new, active posters here. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

Well, I really agree with Wittyguy on this one - PU has in this late summer become like a place where a rather small number of PUs participate. It's a pity for several reasons - I can think of some right now: More variations of reviews/comments and threads I miss new inputs in all matters And maybe those large and very detailed reviews scare some away - by scare I mean: It takes time to do those kinds of reviews - and you have to be devoted to use that time - but guess most go for those two points - so could the reviews be made shorter - and still have what most are here for: A good help in choosing new sites to join... This happened to me quite a few times when I was still subscribing to the usenet, Melissa. When I first started lurking in some of the news groups that interested me the most I always found a core of posters that seemed like a clique because they had their in-jokes and an easy familiarity with each other from long acquaintance. But as I kept responding to some of the subjects that interested me I found myself readily accepted as one of them! The real nice thing about this forum is the fact that I haven't seen a single flame in connection with any poster except for the ones who came with a not so hidden agenda. Your presence would be valuable in other respects as well, as a web mistress you would get the feel of what PUs like and dislike and could pass it on to photographers and videographers which would help us as well as a site.

I was thinking along the same lines, RB. I've been wanting to review a site that hasn't been done to death, but have been looking for weeks for one that deserved my thirty bucks. There just aren't that many sites with mature models wearing attractive lingerie under their dresses. :-(

Aw, Squirrel, I still miss you. I understand the principled stand you take but wish you would make an exception with a forum/site that is in the business of reviewing pay sites. How could they act any other way? It's their livelihood. Let yourself down for once and come on back! :-)

I'm here but I have not been joining sites lately so it will be awhile before I review again and I have been quite busy in my working/social life right now. I pop in daily and check the forum, as well as others but have not felt the need to contribute though. Lately, just some of the topics have been a bit out of my realm or I'm just not interested enough in to write a well informed opinion. This does not mean I won't ever contribute, I'm just a bit picky on which threads to write on. The combo of that and being busy are killing my activeness. Talk to you all later for sure. As far as the new reviews killing it, I highly doubt it. I just think people may be a bit busy right now. As far as the new users go, welcome to PU and I hope you all contribute here. If anything, I think we are getting a lot more users from the new reviews, they just maybe need some good topics to write on or find their way here. Take care. Sexted From My iPad

Saw this post and wanted to clarify our stance before others think that we're out to censor this forum. 1. Spam obviously is our #1 enemy and no question it has no place on this forum. We pull spam the moment we see it (or a user reports it). 2. We don't restrict the talk or linking to free sites, if the intent is not "spam". Simple as that. I know Khan has mentioned to new users that the forum isn't intended for the exchange of free content, which is true. 3. Linking to free content is discouraged but is not forbidden if used in a constructive way. We simply don't intend this forum to be a posting farm of free content. We're not trying to "censor" anything, it's simply not the type of forum this is. There are dozens of other forums for content sharing. 4. Remember the mission of our site "PornUsers.com is dedicated to providing a friendly, unbiased site where those who actually buy memberships to adult pay sites can share their experiences, both good and bad.". 5. Censorship is the last thing we resort to, regardless of how it affects our business. We've let users post links to other discount based sites all over our site! This directly affects our business and my business partners all wish I would restrict these type of links. However, I don't want to stop users from getting the best deal (even if we lose the sale). Those type of actions I feel would hurt our trust and go against our mission. 6. Our intentions are good. We never will close the lid on quality discussions and will stay hands off on the other 95%. If we make a mistake, we will own up to it. I honestly don't know if others agree with Squirrel's statement on censorship or not. I figured it was best to at least explain for others who aren't sure where we actually stand. Well I'm still here, and as long as I have access to the Internet I will try and contribute...assuming I don't take a swing at my computer the next time it crashes! I am not sure I would strictly call the PU policy of not discussing free content censorship. I see it as a guideline -- though maybe a limiting one in Squirrel's case -- and not a heavy handed 1984ish policy to stamp out people's thoughts. If there is a forum on Christianity, they would probably not appreciate people advocating atheism or agnosticism, or a forum on heavy metal that would prefer people stay within that genre instead of talking about rap or country. I don't know how much time the PU staff spends on what, but I am sure too much of it is already spent on de-spamming the forum, so having a few guidelines keeps their jobs from being so prohibitively overwhelming. Even if this isn't the place to discuss free content then it certainly is a place to freely exchange ideas and thoughts, whether or not they are porn related. This is the most tolerant, civil, and open forum I have found. Even the sites of large 'respected' news outlets and papers have what is essentially digital sewage in their comment sections where people just point fingers and lob threats without any apparent care in the world -- or at least the web. PU seems to accept basically anyone as long as he or she are not here to spam or slam users. Where else can you find deep discussions that range from fisting (one of my threads I am proud to say) to politics, sports, cars, technology, and the list goes on. I guess what I am trying to say is that I think we should have even more users considering the forum's openness combined with the new TBP 2.0 reviews that should, at least in theory, allow PUers to have more subjective reviews, with less of a burden to meet when writing one. To be honest I love this forum -- it's easily my favorite part of the whole site. I do like reading reviews both new and old, but the forum can frequently get very funny and deeply insightful. So Squirrel: I hope you are not roadkill (nor are any of the other animals here, including our great 'Toads) and hope you keep contributing. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I haven't been posting as much for a couple of reasons. One, and the biggest one, my psychology partner/colleague from Florida, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Him, his wife and kids would come out to California a few months each year and he would counsel my patients to give them a different perspective. My wife and I would go to Florida during those months and I would counsel his patients. He was 45, in the prime of his life, perfect health, but he, like many psychologists wouldn't go to a doctor for check-ups. About a month ago, he had trouble urinating and finally went to a doctor. He had prostate cancer and it had spread. He died two weeks later. I've been flying back and forth trying to cover his patients and mine and to help his wife and kids. Some relief finally came as another Californian psychologist accepted my patients and now it looks like I'm going to be moving permanently to Florida with my mom and wife to take over my friend's practice. Just a friendly reminder guys, don't skip the prostate exam. This guy was a former collegiate track and field runner, still ran 10-12 miles a day and no one would have guessed that he was even sick, let alone dying. The other reason is that I still don't believe most of my posts are taken as I mean them and because of that, I end up in way too many pointless debates. My own stupid pride doesn't like walking away from debates, no matter how pointless though. As I've told before, from sports blogging to sports forum posting, a lot of what I say seems to have a lightning rod tied to it. I wouldn't insult others by saying why I believe that is, but it turns into a situation where I kind of feel like, "What's the point of saying this? It will just turn into an argument". To show that even more, I had posted a half-dozen or so college football blogs recently, my first in nearly a year and within 5 entries, I had an offer to be a featured blogger because of the commotion those entries caused and we all know the media world today is all about commotion. The sad, maybe funny thing is that I don't try to be controversial. And the last reason, would be that I haven't had as much time to try out any new sites lately, though I have that Teen Models on my to join list and will as soon as life settles down again. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

I've got to say, in terms of the Free Porn issue, since I'm someone that has received a specific warning about mentioning a particular site, that there's almost an entrapment issue in my view. It's OK to have a forum topic talking about free sites, but if you talk about liking a free site, that's regarded as promoting and is a violation In my case, the site I have been warned about isn't even a site that's about Free Porn to my way of thinking, though the word free is in the name and it's a great place to see samples - and samples lead to joining sites - it's probably the most active affiliate site on the internet and has some of the best deals on joining sites - often faster than any place else. It's also a site that is sensitive to piracy issues and has many active models and porn performers as members of their forum/bulletin board. Why it's regarded as verbotim is beyond me if you want to compare their actual operation to the operation of other sites, but you guys make the rules as you want to, so that's life. I'll keep participating in the way that makes sense to me.

I would not say you cause a whole lot of commotion here E. But that post might just do the trick! If we put some retarded spin on your idea just explain what you mean from a different direction. You have always posted very well thought out ideas, but don't be afraid to post very brief posts that make a point. Sometimes ideas can be over explained and cause a bit of confusion. You should know better than the rest of us that when someone tries to explain a though it has a tendency to change a little midway through the explanation. Squirrel. You have to keep posting and ranting, otherwise you are doing to yourself exactly what you hate. If you do not speak out on things you are effectively censoring yourself. Think about that for a moment, go yell at yourself in the mirror for it, and smack yourself repeatedly for being a self hating censor! :) Then you are done come back and yell about something, you know you want to... As for free porn and posting here, I am with the staff on this issue. I can imagine how annoying it would be to have 500 thread named "where can I find free ______ vids and pix" and trying to dig through all that to find thread real topics. It would kill the intelligence of the forum. Besides, how many of us can really find what we want to see with any sort of quality for free. I am sure some can be found, but I am not comfortable with the risk of downloading a video that has a few diseases. Who wants a AVI with AIDs? Finally back to you Exotics. I am really sorry to hear about your friend E. It is always very tough to lose someone. I would imagine it would be even harder considering you have to see many people that knew and trusted him. I wish you the best in all of your current endeavors. Perhaps it would be appropriate to withdraw my nomination for you to be the next PU interviewee, at least until you can get your personal and profession life back to a comfortable position. So....I am thinking one of our doggy twins can be next. Why not give Drooler a chance to lift his leg and leave his mark on the forum. If THE site is the only one that will satisfy you, I can see where the frustration would keep building. I am more than happy if I can find sites that offer solid, quality content. And some of the content (pix and vids) can be surprisingly good. You just have to keep searching for it.

I know, I have been searching, don't think I haven't. My problem is that with most sites, even the good quality ones, you're caught up too soon and then are reliant on the daily update(s)which might or might not be good. I like All Over 30 but am all caught up. I like Anilos, still subscribing to it, but waiting for that daily update now because after two subscriptions I have all my favorites on my hard drive. And so it went with other sites as well. So, start reviewing some sites I've never heard of. Preferably one with mature models in mature lingerie. :-)

I think you gave me a sharp nip in the behind. Take pity on me, sir, I'm only a tiny kitten, remember. Lol. Actually, you bring up a harsh reality: The good material on our hard drive, that we've already seen, loses its impact as time goes on. So we are forced to keep hunting for fresh content and that gets harder to find because we become more discriminating as time goes on. Back when we were young, we could look at a Sears catalog and get aroused by pictures of models in swimwear or lingerie. Now that we're older, Victoria's Secret catalog, something that would have been amazingly exciting if it had existed when we were young, elicits a slightly blase "nice looking girls" response. Oh yes, I went through the Sears catalog for a while then found the Victoria's Secret, the Holy Grail! It seems I am not the only one that feel victim to ever increasing need for something more. Now it take something pretty good to really get my attention. The light stuff still works but it has lost its "naughtiness impact" over the past few years. What you describe as putting another spin on it, is exactly one of the problems I have! I can't say this enough, I'm positive, positive all the time. But some members don't or won't believe that. Just like a post I made on bigman's review of 1byday. I wasn't trying to correct him. If anything, I was trying to tell him to post a warning comment. His first reply back to me, he was a bit miffed. Then after re-reading what I said, he replied back and said he realized he had misunderstood what I said. It is that middle miffed post that I don't care for and that happens way too often. Reminds me of the Oregon player that punched a Boise State player last night. If he had just thought for a second, it wouldn't have happened. Same thing with the members. Of my near 3 years here, I can say that I said one thing that was negative and it was when I said something about implants and how I thought the members were being non-productive to the growth of the site since few women would want to join. I was 50% wrong there, it was a time I shouldn't have said anything. The other times are what we always called "Getting post-sniped" on the sports forum. This is where someone nitpicks one point a person makes and turns a molehill into a mountain out of it. I would say this has happened more than 10 times. I've been told my no less than 3 members that I'm addicted to porn and that a psychologist should know the signs. You see what I mean? I know my posts are often wordy, but in case you don't know, English isn't my first language. Sometimes, I have to be more wordy or I won't make my point at all! Last on that part, just recently, a member came back that I had one of those pointless debates with 4 months ago and tried to start arguing again. He was one of the ones that I felt like slipped the real reason behind the post-sniping and anger, when he said something about I think because I'm #1 in points that I'm the only one allowed to be a dick. That was after calling me a bastard as well.
I appreciate the kind words. The hardest part of the loss for me is that he was my mentor. The only things left to do at this point is to find a house in Florida. In the meantime, my wife and I are flying there on Tuesdays and staying until Thursday night to cover everything. I will still be around even with the post-sniping, but was mainly replying to the question of where everyone is at. I'm almost always going to have my arguments, it seems to come with the territory of being a positive person. Others, I think, like to see if they can break the positivity. Hey, at least the new Eve Angel site is open! My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I believe I remember a few of the postings you are referring to. I would not put much thought into it. People get mad at people who are on the top of list of something because they are never there. These people never put in the work to become good or recognized for something. You have 100 points more than the nearest reviewer and 250 more than me. To many of us that does mean a little something. If nothing else it means that you have seen your share and you are committed. As to your profession, it is none of their business. I am sure you know many signs of addiction, but you do not come off as someone who is addicted in the sense of a life controlling addiction. Through many of your posts we have learned that you have many passions and interest. You have discussed martial arts, football, cycling, your profession, a loving wife, and the list goes on. Someone with a controlling addiction to porn would not be enlightening us with these other insights into your personality. Everyone shoots off their mouth before they should. It is recognizing that you did is what sets you apart from many others. When people seem irritated or offended the only thing you can do is apologize for offending them. I certainly can not say I have never done this. Being wordy is something we have come to expect from you. Everyone is different and this place has proven to be tolerant of these differences. You have told us on occasion that English is not native to you, but by reading your posts most would not come to that conclusion. I can not recall chasing the words around in your posts or trying to figure out what you are saying. Your written English is very good; in fact, it is better than an embarrassing large percentage of native English speakers. I believe your English is better than you think it is. The post you mention to bigman's review. Do not put any more thought on that than you already have, or anything like that. I do that all the time. I read a post and think "you dumb bastard" then reread it to find that I simply can not read. Remember us talking about shooting our mouths off? That is what that guy did. He replied to a post that he did not read carefully enough. It is a situation where that guy should come back and tell you that he shoot off before he should have. This is why I read a posting more than once before replying. Invariably it reads a bit different the second time through....I still cant figure that out? Point here is, be yourself (positive) and continue to privilege us with your posts. Most of us have a good deal of respect for you that you have earned with your time and efforts here. There is no reason to slip into a negative hole, and I do not think you will. In the year and a half I have been here you have always had a healthy attitude and no one has the right to try to take that away from you. I guess some people just can not grasp the idea that people talking in a porn forum can actually discuss nonsexual matters. It hurts their brains! :) "For example, badandy400 has taken it upon himself to become the one man Library of Congress for porn with a collection that surely will be in Guinness Book of World Records some day." ~Toadsith~ PU Interview

Almost all the members at PU are extremely civil. The level of name-calling here is amazingly low, considering that this site is basically about porn. If some members do post a critical remark once in a while, I don't really know whether it's better to ignore it or try to respond in a positive way. But I think E is giving too much importance to any negative remarks made to him. I'm overly sensitive myself, and don't take well to criticism, but you need a thick skin if you're going to participate in most forums. Separately, I'm sorry to read about the loss of your friend and colleague, E. Losing someone close to you is always painful, and it's even worse when the death is sudden and unexpected. 45 seems like a very early age to die. Life has a way of kicking you in the head (and other places) every so often, and you just have to get through the bad times somehow. You don't have much choice about that.

I have been posting less and reviewing less due to two factors. One, I have been busy organizing what I have. It was starting to resemble a disorganized pile and I couldn't find anything. I had many videos that I had never watched. The other factor is that I have been busy at work getting ready for the next semester. Yes, sometimes work is more important than porn. This is just a sad fact of life.

Hey, E! I would really miss you if you ever left this forum. I've always enjoyed your contributions and I never found them too long, possibly because English is my second language as well and you helped me see things a bit clearer by your detailed explanations of various subjects. :-) So, please don't get out of the PU habit once your family hits Florida, I enjoy your company too much. I, too, wish to add my condolences when it comes to your friend and mentor. It's got to be tough but with your positive attitude you'll adapt and go on.

Exotics4me, I never thought your posts were too wordy, just insightful. In fact some of the better posts are the longer ones, so don't get discouraged! I am still surprised English is not your first language, even if I think I remember you mentioning it at least once prior to this thread, as your writing is well done, and not at all confusing or negative. I'm sorry for the loss, especially someone who was apparently very close. I lost a relative this spring and it is difficult, and you are never prepared for it, even though in his case he was much older than your friend. It's easy to forget, but after someone dies there is a whole life that he or she left behind, and trying to sort it all out and take control of it can be daunting to say the least, not to mention simultaneously dealing with the emotions of the situation. Hope it goes well exotics. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. I appreciate the post badandy. Negativity is somewhere I don't ever see myself. I do often joke in speaking engagements about how hard it can be being a positive person. Many believe positive people are naive or even weak, afraid to stand up for themselves. In my case, I've seen what I would call overwhelming negativity in my younger years and the fear of my life turning into the messes I saw would stop me from being negative. The joke is when I ask people how they want to be remembered. Some would be surprised how many people change their outlook on life as soon as they think about their answer for that. My own answer doesn't include the words, intelligent, good debater, never gave up, all I want people to remember is whatever funny thing(s) I had said to them. On the part with bigman, it is cleared up, and more than anything, I think he realized that I am trying to help him. I enjoyed the few reviews he had posted and was trying to coach him along on adding more information. More of this will go into the next reply. I will kind of split these replies up since there are similarities. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. This post may have made me realize some of the problem. It isn't the lack of thick skin. Even to this day, I'm a moderator on two sports forums, and a fan of USC in college football. I get cussed on a daily basis ha ha! What I came up with was that maybe I'm running into burn-out. I joined my first forum in 1996, that's longer than I've been married and have debated online about everything from sports to religion to porn. So, I may just be becoming bored with the whole debating subject. Where it would bother me is that I should know better. In a way, I think I've just become so accustomed to bringing the debate, that it has become an online second nature for me. It doesn't help that I'm Mr. Positive in a world of mostly negative people. It doesn't help on here that I'm first in points and Mr. Positive too. I used to joke in college, which was in the southern United States, that there was a bullseye on me for every drunk redneck to take a shot at. I could go in a bar or club and it never failed, some little drunk guy would walk up and try to start a fight to prove himself to his friends. Online, it seems that people want to prove themselves too. I'm not complaining about PU though. It is a whole internet issue for me in my life. Which does make think burn-out could be the case. I also appreciate the kind words about the loss. Probably the biggest problem that I have personally from loss is that I always had my grandfather to look to, a dangerous physical man, but a wonderfully peaceful, spiritual, soft-spoken man to me. He always helped with loss, now, every loss reminds me that I've lost him too. The closest I have now to someone I can confide in, in those situations is my father-in-law, but he lives in Puerto Rico. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I'm still looking for those lusty grandma sites! The place where most people say they notice my trouble with English is in the tense words, like is/are and saw/seen, I've studied too much conjugation to remember them all! I should have said earlier that probably part of my long posts could be explained by me liking more details when reading posts by others. I will still be around, maybe moderating myself at times to avoid too many sticky situations. The psychologist who is taking my Californian patients believes I have a much deeper issue going on. I'm very much native to Southern California, as much as I hate the gangs, the street wars, I love being around the people. Working with gangs, having those kids come to me several years after speaking with them and hearing they have changed their life. I won't have that when we go to Florida. Even if I worked with their gangs, I wouldn't have the street cred I receive in LA. We have a little documentary about the LA gangs that made me see a much different side of the gangs. In all of my life, I've never felt physically threatened by anyone, but even so, the gangs went out of their way to protect me. We have a couple of those clips up on youtube and have received over a million views on them. And I guess watching one part in particular, as a little kid, 14 years old, a patient by court order, tries his best to get my attention throughout the clip. He is showing me their guns, says my real name 3 times, which he wasn't supposed to do. I guess that does cause some problems inside me knowing I'm leaving. For him, not a problem, we got him moved to Virginia with his grandmother and he is about to start college, but there are a million more like him in LA. A friend used to joke about my positivity by saying, "You could shoot him 4 times and he would say, well, at least you hit me with all four shots and didn't miss"! I have a strange experience with languages. I was born and raised in the States, but my dad spoke Italian, he spoke English too, but when at home, it was Italian. Mom spoke Spanish at home to me and my brother. By the time we entered kindergarten we could speak Spanish and Italian fluently, but were far behind in English. My grandfather always joked that he told them they needed to speak English around us more. The good thing is that I of course had English all through school, the bad thing, it didn't feel right since we weren't used to speaking it at home. On a funny note, my mom speaks English all the time now and usually only speaks Spanish when mad. I appreciate the part about insightful. I try to critique my own reviews and posts to add more, subtract some, to make them as helpful as possible. I'm sure that once we move everything will be much better. My wife will be much happier in Florida and like a good husband, her happiness will make me happier and help fight off home-sickness. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. Exotics, I very much appreciate your writing and find it very literate. Your language background is not that strange though. Children of non native speakers have the technical name Generation 1.5. They usually have many more problems with English than you do. Generally they feel very self conscious about their language skills and learn the variety of English their friends speak. This sounds true in your case as well. When you say that you have trouble with verbs such as saw/seen, I hear low class nonstandard speech. You have learned to be diglossic. That means speaking two varieties-one nonstandard, one standard. That is quite an accomplishment as the closer two varietes are, the more difficult it is to master the second one. It is much, much easier to learn a second language than a second variety. Your usage of SAE, standard american English, does not show features of either Spanish, Italian, or another variety of English. Instead of being self conscious, you have reason to be proud. I also think you have been too sensitive about any negativity you have received here. I think many PUers wish they had your literacy levels and/or your general knowledge about porn in particular and other topics as well.

I am sure you can do a lot of good in Florida as well as LA. Moving to a new area and moving shop is a very larger undertaking. I am certainly glad it is not me! Unfortunately the person on the top has no one else to look up to. Having a strong father figure is something that is very important but at some point in a man's live he is faced with himself being the father figure. You still have all their teachings and have learned your own lessons through life. I am sure the answers and support you need can be found largely within. You still have your wife too. On a positive note. Now that you are moving to Florida your father-in-law is just a short swim away! I figure my writing or typing ability is more a product of education than anything else. The misuse of words is most likely attributed to dyslexia. The 1.5 Generation, I thought they were immigrants? My parents were both born in the States too. They just preferred Spanish and Italian that their parents spoke over English. Mom said they also thought it would give me and my brother an advantage to be tri-lingual. I'm not for sure why you say that I'm being too sensitive or self-conscious about my English. I've always been long-winded in posts, which is why I do blog, and it was attributed to me being raised with different languages than English. I can't see how me explaining that would show self-consciousness. On the sensitivity part, I can't count the number of times I've been through pointless arguments on here or called names or had my job challenged. And I'm still here. Most of those that started the arguments, challenged my job, are not still here. Again, this all goes back to my original post in this thread, I was explaining that I had taken a little time away from the site. The death of a friend started it, then the pointless arguments started again and I didn't feel like wasting anymore time doing it which showed where I had been. Check my recent replies out and you'll see some of the pointless arguments like this guy that is posting and challenging anyone that has anything less than perfect to say about Nubiles. I don't mean any of this rudely. I just think some of it may have gotten lost from the original post to here. Oh and on the standard American English part, watch how some of my sentences take on a Spanish order. I usually catch those and correct them, but more than a few times, I will start the sentence with the action/verb and finish it with the noun/object. It was kind of weird at first. She usually complained about me looking at porn. She didn't like Aria Giovanni at all, though I don't know Aria personally, she did grow up near where I did and went to the high school I graduated from a few years before she was a freshman. She also likes Sandra Shine and Adrianne Sage. I think it is probably because she has a similar build overall as those three. She doesn't hardly like any models with big boobs though.
