What a pity - another against tattoos and pins... Now and then you come across a FINE model - a new/newer one.. And at Breath-takers.com (look at "Models") I saw a beautiful Mai Bailey - a somewhat/a bit like the wonderful Marisa Tomei - with a little fantasy. BUT: Alas - maybe some of the nastiest tats - and - are they called "pins" - in her face and tits.......what a ruin of a so otherwise gorgeous looking model....cannot believe that young people want to mess up their appearance that way.... It used to be Tats represented the counter culture. A way for a person to identify what was unknown to the world around them. WW2 vets were among the first well know to get tats to represent what they went through and what no other human could know. Kinda like a secret code. Bikers to a point put a gradious view of tats to steer the tats to meaning rebel or outcast and counter culture people. Today , Tats are stupid, every porn star male gets a tats and shaves his head, so he and his BMW and house in the hills will be all "GANSTA" only thing Gansta about porn actors are their poser mentality. The women, want to fit in as bad girls of porn and make you think there is not hole they won't fill with a penis or tat. I think Tats today as so over used that it is no longer unique to a culture. But it now represents what a person wishes they were, not who they really are. Prison tats, show clear Hyarchy and what time a person stays and how long as well as what might have got them there. Prison tats are about the only true remaining counter culture holding true to what tats were for. Elsewhere in the world tats are a sign of growth and passage. Tats should never be part of porn and porn stars with tats like this in away are insulting to those that have earned the right to wear one. Besides, women do not need tats they are awesome the way they were made ! Since 2007 Edited on Feb 28, 2012, 09:45am

Denner, my friend. When you mention 'pins', I think you are refering to piercings & specifically studs. Studs are not as permanent & usually leave much smaller scars than removed tattoos. That said, I find the style in which they are often used is more of a disfigurement rather than an attractive enhancement. As you quite rightly imply, there is no substitute for natural beauty. In fact I quite often find both tattoos & piercings sufficiently disfiguring to make it worth my while cranking up Photoshop & making them go away. The natural lady is always far more attractive for doing that. Cap'n. I don't know if anyone else thinks the same thing but I find that it's very common to see British performers with more than one tattoo and they tend to all be on the large side rather than smallish and demure. Mia is a perfect example of what I mean. Just take a look at most models on Killergram. Long live the Brown Coats.

Ditto ink belongs in pens. The human body needs no enhancement. I saw comedienne Margaret Cho on one of the late night talk shows. She now has her legs covered in images of dead presidents, no color, just line drawings, almost caricature-like.It looks as if someone doodled on her legs. As she sat talking, all you could see were Washington and Jefferson looking at you from her knees and shins. What was she thinking? unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is gonna suck. Edited on Feb 28, 2012, 12:15pm

I will never understand tattoos. I'm originally from the Midlands in the UK, and around there "tats" or "tatties" are abbreviations for potatoes! On top of that around here (South Wales) if a woman offered to show you her "tats" you would assume she was referring to her breasts. The most common abbreviation I've heard around here for tattoos is "ink", but that might be quite recent. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

Yeah, I agree - she fucked herself up nicely.
Maybe it's a U.S. thing - I've heard them called 'tats' for at least 10-15 years now. And I'd rather see actual potatoes rather than tattoos. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I don't like tats. I don't know how many times I've seen a nice looking thumbnail of a babe in a rather subtly lit place who, when brought to full size, had some ugly-ass tattoo over or even ON her ass. Then I go I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

I'm about to be crotchety, but short: How many times is someone going to create this same thread? I get it, I get it, you don't like tattoos, you don't understand tattoos, you think they're stupid. But do we really need like 10 different threads to say that same thing over and over again? I'm done. Thank you for you patience. P.S. - I don't have any tattoos or piercings. Don't plan on getting any either.

Ok you get it, but what is more important is when will the impressionable young women starting out in porn get it? Hopefully before they cause themselves lifelong disfigurement. Cap'n. But it's the same people creating the threads, and the same people commenting on them. There for the most part is no opinion changing, it's the same people saying the same thing over and over again. And creating new threads to do it in, instead of doing it in the same thread that they did it in last time. I'd be less "annoyed" if it were new people creating these threads, or if all the discussions were happening in the same one. P.S. - Not really annoyed, per se, I mainly kinda laugh at the very clear age divide, and realize that most of the people that post here are much older than I am.

I think that the thread may get repeated , but just like reading threads on guys talking during scenes which has also been threaded allot. Not sure it will help HDYT, but the forum is often a great place to vent a concern especially when the poster may have on deaf ears told the directors and webmasters. I know I hate, despise and am highly irritated by men talking during scenes. And have ranted over it time and time again. And nothing changes, so I come here and vent and perhaps someone on the PU members will give a crap about my venting, or in this case Denners. Since 2007

I'd like to add that creating a new thread about a subject that we have talked about in a past thread can be a good thing because there are probably many people registered and they may not have read past thread or probably don't want to read all the post on a past thread so having the subject in a new thread opens the door for them to voice their opinion. I'd love to hear what someone who loves when girls get tattoos has to say on the subject and what it is about all those tattoos that turns him or her on. Long live the Brown Coats.

I commented on the flashy tattoo that practically wrapped around her ankle, after which her eyes lit up and a big smile amplified her satisfaction of my having picked up on it. It made her day -- as does similar occurrences going on everywhere for gals who sport these arty blueprints. Tattoos, esp those burned into the delicate skin of women, and particularly those gals in the entertainment industry, are simply there to get attention and fuel protest against the establishment of anything that smacks of change -- moreover and characteristically in the ballpark of mores. If tats went unnoticed, I suspect we'd have mass closings of parlors which have boarded this profitable enterprise, and likely followed by experts marketable at removing them. Further, as this current rage in tattoos wane, which can't fast-forward soon enough -- there'll be widespread evidence of disappointment and regret from those whose skin is marred by those ink-laden instruments of disfigurement. Thus, predictably, will become another welcomed period of enlightenment marked by a turning away from this insidious practice. We'll jus' have to wait, my friends...."This too will pass"

Hate tattoos with a passion. They are so ugly. 90% of them are somewhere the person can not see it either because they feel it is ugly to so they want to be able to forget about it but must get it to "fit in". A shame. Some major porn players get them as identifying marks. Can be difficult to tell one fake breast blonde chick from another from behind. You would think so wouldn't you but it the US it seems so normal to have your body caked in ink they still hire these models, there must be an appeal to some guys but its a scene killer when a girl with huge tattoos comes along, I think it might sound a little odd but I associate tattoos with toughness and a masculine thing and I don't see them as at all a feminine thing really, I don't mind the odd little one but these huge artworks all over doesn't do out for me. On a similar note as the Celtic Rune tattoos. Can anyone explain to me the appeal in getting a tattoo writen in a foreign language that you and probably everyone you know can't read? I know that many people like to get Chinese and/or Japanese pictogram tattoos and I also know that a percentage of them completely screw up the meaning since they expected that the tattoo artist would be a better linguist them themselves. Visual appeal, plain and simple. Same reason people have their names written in a font they like, though I'm assuming yours wouldn't actually read "pat362." And it's generally safer than going with some risky symbol and saying "Oh, I just liked the way that swastika looked, I didn't know it meant something offensive." (Though to be fair, a few people could legitimately get non-racist swastikas tattooed on themselves.) "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? See but that's where I think people risk a major accident because you are getting something tattooed in a language that you do not know. If someoen gets a message tattooed in a funky font than it's still written in your Mother tongue so you know what is written. Just scroll through a few of the fails on the belwo link for proof of the danger in getting pictogram tattoos. http://hanzismatter.blogspot.com/
No matter how believable they might be. They couldn't do it because the Nazi party killed the possibility that anyone will associate the symbol to anything other than the massacre of millions of people in the Second World War. Even if people were open minded then you'd still have to explain that the Swastika was adopted by the Nazi but it predates them by thousands of years. Long live the Brown Coats.

I remember to very bad and yet funny Tattoos. This guy I know went through treatment and became a AA ( alcoholics anonymous ) Guru. Several years ago and plastered his sobriety date and AA slogans all over him self in Tattoos. Yep you guessed it sadly he went back out and uses big time and well is a drug dealer now. Gees. The other was, this guys dated this girl and her name as Andrea, he called her Andy. Yep he put Andy on his forearm in a heart when tying one on one night. He is heterosexual so.... hmmmmmm having Andy on your forearm could be interesting. No intended reference in Bad Andy Since 2007

They also misappropriated the term "Aryan" to mean white-but-definitely-not-Jewish instead of Indian or Iranian (who they probably didn't like either). And to top off this Godwin's law-abiding discussion, some people find tattoos very distasteful because they were used by the Nazis to forcibly and permanently identify prisoners. Still, I think it's all about free will, and like pretty much everything else people do to themselves, if you don't like it then don't sweat it--it isn't your body!
