This is part of the reason why I love the fully shaved ladies. People seem to frequently interpret "hairy" to mean jungle-like overgrowth. No thank you! I don't know if there is anything in this, but I've got the distinct impression over the past few years that the American audience are more into the shaved look than the UK audience. Obviously people from both countries fall into both camps, but there seems to be more enthusiasm for completely shaved in the US. Anyone got any statistics on that one? You are wrong. Even back in the seventies "natural" never meant that all areas of the body had to be hairy. In Canada and the U.S. (don't know about other countries) women always shaved their legs, many shaved their arm pits as well. This pre-occupation with leg hair especially is a relatively recent phenomenon, most likely in reaction to the totally shaved look. Some people do love extremes. And when some of us talk about the beautiful porn back then we are not glorifying the bush. We talk about the fact that back then the videos actually had a story to go along with the sex.  | |

I go back even further than 70's porn. I'd even venture to say I was there when porn (as we now know it) exited the womb. And for good reason. In the 70's, implants were leaky and could cause permanent damage to the breast tissue. Dow Chemical was sued and there wasn't a safe implant till the 80's. | |

It's too bad that women have been fooled into thinking that the problems with past implants are no more because they are still there. Hello everyone, I love 70s era ones : 1. Mostly they are feature films with plots. I skip a lot of the plot part but with plots you get to see the girls in different outfits in everyday settings. I like seeing them in those settings in the shops or the street and in everyday outfits knowing that more likely than not later on you'll get to see more. It builds up lots of anticipation. 2. The story does always require you see all the girls do all the sex positions and routines. I like that it's not so predictable and routine. 3. The girls seem to be more into the scenes; there is more chemistry between the models. The scenes almost invariably are very sexy. There seems to be an element of fun and lightness about it all. 4. The stories often do not require that the girls get push round like bits of meat. Some films involve a story where that happens a bit, like if it's a hostage scenario, but then it's more part of the story rather than some bloke treating them shit for the hell of it. Personally I'm not that keen on them hostage type ones. 5. The lingerie is generally really really nice. And often they don't take it all off in 30 seconds flat. 6. I found that I actually really like all the pubic hair. 7. They seem to find proper sexy women and don't feel the need to pretend that they are all 'teens'. 8. When it comes to filming the sex bits somehow they just do it better. I think the photographers were technically more proficient. 9. I find it fascinating to see the older cars, street scenes and inside the house the bookcases and furnishings. The quality of the picture tends to be a bit variable. With modern stuff I expect and demand the best resolution but I am quite forgiving with the older films. If I had to choose one or the other I would take the older films with less than stunning picture over the newer stuff. I like the French ones best especially Alpha France. The US ones I'm not too keen on and they don't so much fit the description I have given above. I'd sooner watch the French ones where I don't understand much of the words than the US ones. You can find summaries of lots of the popular films anyway. So if you read that you can get the gist of what the story is and what they are going on about. Thomas. | |

^I think that part of the reason why they looked so into doing anal is because most of the performers in the 70's were not teenagers. A teenager might say that she wants to do anla nd will do so but a woman undertsands her body a lot better and knows what it takes to do some things. Another reason is that they didn't shoot circus act porn where it's more about the guy pile driving into the girl while she is in every uncomfortable position possible or trying to make her ass gape wide enough that the penis no longer touches the side of the anal cavity. It's not to say that they didn't shoot some of these types of scenes because I saw a few of Vanessa Del Rio's anal scenes. ^Your choice is excellent because Veronica was beautiful as well as an impressive actresse in the real sense rather than just the porn sense. I have some softcore German films from the 70's like the Schulmadchen series and the Hausfrauen report series but American hardcore films from the 70's do nothing for me.
