'In The Crack' subscription experiences? I'm considering joining 'In The Crack', as it seems unrivalled for High Definition content. Sadly there aren't any one-off payment options, instead it requires a continuous credit card subscription. I usually avoid these, both within & outside the porn industry, as they can only be cancelled via the Company in question and not by the card holder independently (how bizarre in modern times?). For this reason, recurring credit card subscriptions are generally strongly discouraged by consumer websites etc. I was just wondering whether fellow PU members subscribing to In The Crack have found starting/stopping and the related billing experience to be trouble-free? I'll take the appalling dollar to pound rate built in for UK customers as a given, for this purpose.

They use ccbill as their payment processor. The In The Crack website never gets access to your credit card information. I've never had any issue with ccbill.

CCbill always allows customers to cancel their own recurring subscriptions. Any attempt by the site to block/hide that would cause a suspension of their CCBill account. I've never heard of any problem with CCBill regarding being able to cancelling recurring subscriptions. In fact in my experience it seems to be the norm to sign up to a recurring subscription and cancel a couple of minutes later. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I've never had an issue cancelling when I sign up for a recurring account through CCBill. I can't speak for this site, but if CCBill is the go-between, I'd feel safe.

Thanks for the replies. I hadn't realised that CCBill effectively separated you from the websites in question. I'm getting the impression that CCBill is fairly trusted, in an industry not noted for this quality. As CCBill is so commonly used in porn, can I assume that financial/personal data is completely secure?

Like Wittyguy wrote above, not completely, but still fairly secure for handling your info over the Internets. Though I'm betting many employees at credit card companies understand "CCBill" on customers' statements to mean "Porn subscription! This guy buys porn!" Fortunately I have yet to have a CC issuer pass judgement on how I spend my money as a happy, healthy adult. On a more specific note to ITC, they are, in my personal pervy opinion, a great site for HD video and large photos, as long as girls-only closeup content is what you seek. In short, a recurring bill should not be a problem--finding enough storage space will be. (Also, as soon as you sign up for ITC, go to CCBill's website and cancel. You can still access subscription sites until the cycle runs out, regardless of an early cancellation.) "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? Joined one time - with reluctance - great site - in general - but hated the: Regional billing!!!! Much more expensive from Europe and other places and the only billing co. is CCBill - no problem with CCBill from this user - the regional thing is dealt with by the site owners.. Then wrote the site owner for an alternative billing co. and got the answer: Make a bank check instead..........no way! So payed that much more expensive membership via CCBill......BUT won't be back with those deals. Other sites come up with alternative billing co. - but not this one - too bad! I take your points about security. Denner, I couldn't agree more about regional pricing. As if quality sites aren't costly enough without the exchange rate being loaded anything from 20% to 50% against non-US subscribers. I do not believe that $1 US = £1 UK. Whilst the sites in question may congratulate themselves on an instant profit boost, they would do well to consider how much more profit they lose via customers who just walk away. Rocketing prices is about the last thing any wise business should try.

My opinion of this site - it's so "specific" in it's direction that it gets boring. I have the same problem with the Kink.com sites. There are people making porn that have enough breadth to their material - good looking women, good tease action, sexy outfits, well filmed, etc, that you can be not at all interested in the more extreme aspects of their work and still be entirely satisfied watching their material. For instance, ALS Scan prides itself on fisting, extreme insertions, gaping, piss-play, etc. I'm not all that excited by any of that stuff, but they are my favorite site because of how much else they have going on and the quality of the models they get and the quality of their material, period. With In The Crack, it's more like - "this scene is going to be about this model's left labial lip" - and that's what you're going to see for the entire scene - or vid - or whatever. It's obsessiveness to where it takes any spontaneity out of it - and sexual material is not that interesting without spontaneity for me. Another example of someone who's pretty specific in their tastes but allows for things to go elsewhere is John Stagliano. In many of his scenes, He'll be saying "What I really want you to do is" and the model will be doing her own thing and he'll say, "oh, oh - Oh, that's good!" and go with the flow. There's NONE of that with In The Crack or the Kink.com sites, so as good quality as they are, they lack excitement and get old quickly.

Some very interesting points here. Pink Panther, I think you're spot-on about tedium in porn. Dull, formulaic scenes complete with fake dialogue and noises are just dire. By contrast, genuine fun & orgasms are the most desirable commodity in porn to me. John Stagliano does do well in a semi-scripted way. But look at say Jenna Doll (aka Jenna Simpson) on Videobox to see a young beauty just overcome with pleasure & orgasms as the scenes get going. Any concept of script or production becomes irrelevant with such performances. Any porn studio that could capture this regularly, would make the most enjoyable and least dull porn to be found.
