A complaint I will try to keep this as short and to the point as possible. I ask that it not be deleted. I will be civil in it. I will make a copy of it so if it is deleted, I can send it to the members that I have email addresses for. On Tuesday, I had a review denied. The main explanation was it should have been a comment. It said my review didn't meet the minimum review criteria. And it focused on this, "The primary issue of your REVIEW was a technical problem. We're trying to keep reviews focused on the actual site, not any techinical issue(s) that might be fixed later." My review was of Thai Swinger. It had 7 pros, 2 cons and around 900 words in the bottom line. I rated it a 90. One of the cons was about the site loading slow. The others which I should have listed separately were no photos and no model list or names. The only review criteria is the one listed in the $200 Tuesdays section. It says for an excellent review there needs to be 8 pros/cons and 250 words in the bottom line. Even if you remove the one about the technical problem, I still had 8 pros/cons and 900 words in the bottom line. Why would that be posted as a comment? I mentioned the slow loading and said it doesn't hurt the download speeds. So, 8 pros/cons, 900 words in bottom line, how is that not an excellent review? That's question #1. When did technical problems stop being cons? You don't think it's important that a reader should know if me and my high-powered PC with a gigabyte internet connection is having trouble loading the site? And if that logic is true, should any cons count? Anything can be fixed in the future. That's the point of a review. To gauge the site as it is at that current time. I feel like I'm being targeted. A few weeks ago, Freddie posted a thread asking for feedback and I gave my fair feedback. She replied in a full rant that had nothing to do with what I said. To show my personality, I gave her an easy out by saying I think the staff has got so used to being defensive and I understand why. She apologized and later sent me an email apologizing. The only part that frustrated me about that incident was I asked a simple question about what the minimum criteria was. That wasn't answered. I asked it again, it wasn't answered. I think mbaya asked it, it wasn't answered, but now I'm getting a denied review for not reaching the minimum criteria? My review was just like the nearly 400 previous ones I've posted. I have a copy I can post it here. That section on the site being slow to load had these parts about it: "My biggest problem with the site is it's slow. The downloads are not slow, it just seems like I click on something and have time to write a review before it opens. It's not that bad but it could be faster." That's 41 words out of 957, so 4.2% of the review was about the technical problem. I'm not mad. Disgusted is the better word. I tried to think of any of other reasons. I'm just being honest. I don't believe that 4.2% was enough to deny a review that still met the excellent criteria. A friend of mine sent me a text around midnight that said, "What site did you say they rejected your review for?" I told her. She replied back and told me to check Rabbit's site. There's a review of Thai Swinger just posted 2 days ago, rating it a 70. I'm not intimidated by anyone on here. Is that how it is now? I don't visit Rabbit's unless I'm looking for a promo. That just seems like a strange coincidence. Especially with the completely illogical reasoning behind denying my review. If that is how it's going to be, members need to know. I paid good money for that site because it hadn't been reviewed here or on TBP. Spin me a better logical twist on why my review was denied and I ask that any staff reply stays on course and doesn't turn into another rant like Freddie did to me on the review requirement thread. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

I see his point and don't understand either. Exotics and I have known each other for over eleven years now. I have read every single one of his reviews, comments and replies. He is level headed and does not get upset easily. He is more angry than his words show. He also is perfectly right. There is no logic to why his review was denied. It seems clear from several incidents that have occurred on PU that there is bias going on here. Bias against certain members. Bias in favor of certain members. Bias against certain websites. Bias in favor of certain websites. This incident gives PU and Rabbits a black eye. I agree with him on another thing. I also have made a copy of this. I have personal emails of at least a hundred present and former members. We both know webmasters emails too. I see PU as hanging on by a thread.

Guys, it was a mistake. Why blame something that can be chalked off as just a mistake to maliciousness? You're not being targeted, in fact no one is being targeted on this site. In fact, I went back and approved the review and even gave it an Excellent rating. It was just a mistake and sometimes those happen, even to moderators at PornUsers. If anyone has an issue, I'd prefer you email me and talk to me personally. Like I have said countless of times, my email is always open so please email me. The criterias of the reviews aren't changing. I think I've been pretty clear about that on the thread, so no need to worry.

Freddie, you can delete the thread. Thank you for the explanation. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Freddie, the email link (to send you an email) in your staff profile page does not work. Click on the link that states "E-mail FreddieAdmin" and it brings up a page that states: This User is Invalid. You've reached a user that is invalid or no longer exists. If this resulted from a live link, please report this to us (with details). ------ Does this mean the Freddie we've known to come and love is a figment of our imagination? Is our imagination sweeter than reality? Enquiring minds went to know: How to email Freddie? Does Freddie exist in the real world? Please respond ASAP, before our dreams are turned into nightmares.

I've complained several times (in the forums and with multiple emails to tech support) that Freddie's email link is invalid. It shouldn't come as any surprise to PU. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

I haven't complained in any emails about the inactive link, but my post was more in the line of joke. But still, it was nice that Freddie gave her email address. Perhaps I should send an email, to test it? If my email is returned with an error message, that would be evidence that Freddie is a figment of someone's imagination, or someone in hiding.

I just spent an hour writing a review for PU and when I went to submit it, I was logged out. I lost an hour's worth of work and my chance to enter the raffle because of this. It's very frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this, or am I the sole lucky recipient? "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

Happened to me last week and has probably happened 5 or more times over the last two years. The worst part is I know how to avoid it and it still happened to me. This is how to avoid it. Once you finish typing your review, before hitting submit, go up to your screenname at the top of the page (where your replies are) and scroll button click it to open your profile in a new tab. If your session has timed out it will require you to sign back in there. You can then go back to the tab with your review and submit it with no concerns. I would say I remember to do it 99% of the time but there's always that one time where it clears my review. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Thanks for the advice. I was utterly frustrated by having my review lost, and though I redid it, the second is far less comprehensive than the first. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

Loki what I do is write it offline in a word document and then just copy and paste the review into PU, at least doing it that way I have the option to save my work and return to it another time if I don't finish in one session.

I normally write my reviews using Notepad (or some other word processing program). Then I cut and paste the review into the PU form. Since the PU form has line and letter limitations for each section, I sometimes have to make some edits to the review. But I've lost too many reviews over the years, when I tried writing the review directly, using the PU form. Because the PU page closed, for one reason or another. And re-writing the lost review is time-consuming, so you don't put the same effort into the re-write. Lost reviews happen to other PU members, and at least some have posted they use a word processing program to write their reviews, and then cut and paste the review into the PU form. Because the word-processing review will not crash, unlike the PU site. Theory: the word processing program could crash, but far less frequently than the PU site.

Great minds think alike. Since tangub expressed my post earlier than I did, and in a more succinct form, you are free to ignore my post. Or to delete it. Whatever.

I've had this happen to my lucky for me I was able to recover everything by quickly hitting the back button. Then opening a new tab and logging back into PU to cut and paste the review. Like you all I then started writing in a 3rd party app.
