Even though the login page explicitly states that we may continue to use our old username to log in until the end of the month I found that not to be the case. Loging in with my email address worked fine. Servers seems great now, downloaded 100GB of stuff in the last couple of days without a problem.

Can't argue with you there, the network is otherwise fantastic. In fact its the only site I maintain a regular membership with. But there is always room for improvement, if the sorted out the membership packages I'm sure I would find something else to complain about :)

If they are true to form they will still confuse the hell out of anyone wanting to join the network with their convoluted membership packages. Why in the name of all that is good and holy cant they follow the same pratices as the other big networks? The thing that REALLY pisses me off is the fact that you cant access newly launched sites as a current member. What were they thinking!??!?!?

I'm the same, been a member for a while and only had a few videos that would not play. Re-downloading the problem ones always solved the issue. Try using DownThemAll for Firefox

I know how IP technology works but cheers :)
What I was saying is, they could have implemented more intelligent country blocking by allowing people who have already paid for access to log in and access the already restricted members area. By doing this in combination with blocking signups from Hungary they would have achieved the same result without pissing me off :)

Its fair enough that they would not want to allow access to the whole hotel IP range but they could have allowed my username and password to login and view what I had paid for. I would be simple enough to redirect users in blocked countries to a very simple login page without any graphics or possibility to signup. If the user already has a account they can login, if not they cant do anything and the identity of the models is still protected.

The hotel was not blocking access, the error message was specifc to 21sextury and had instructions to email them with the error details, which I did :)
I guess in hindsight, I may not have been blocked because I was in Hungary; although that was a reasonable assumption; I may have been blocked because I had accessed the site in Prague, Bratislava and Budapest all in the space of 1 week. That said, I do remember getting blocked for accessing the site from various different IP addresses before but that time I was automatically emailed a new password.
Either way, their support is a joke, I was unable to access what I had paid for and had to resort to less than totally legal methods to get my porno fix. No wonder so many people pirate their stuff when barriers are put up to stop you accessing your legally paid for material :(

Im not a member of Zoliboy so cant comment there but I completely agree with you on the new sites issue. I did email them about it a couple of months ago and they said they will be adding new sites to current members packages "soon". Obviously their definition of soon and that of any normal persons is drastically different so I would'nt hold your breath.

I havent had the site itself timeout on me but there are definatly some major problems with the download speeds. For me AnalTeenAngels is actually lightning fast, just downloaded a video at 8 megabytes/sec, but other sites I currently cant get faster than 0.3 megabytes/sec.

I think they must be up to their old tricks again with the bonus sites. I remember when I first joined how difficult it was to get a straight answer from support about exactly which sites were included at which points in time. I has got a lot better but not quite there yet :(

I have 11 scenes listed for Mia Stone including "Mia's Memories" and "Romance on the Beach" which are both part of loyalty sites so I can only download the first part but they both have video and pictures available. I dont have "Unusual Best Man" listed anywhere.

Yes they do daily updates and the updates appear to be all new content. In addition to the updates of new content, they are "upgrading" the old content to new file formats but these never seem to be posted as new content which is nice.
In a small update to my review, I have not had the site completely die on me in the last few days but the download speeds have been poor a couple of times.

The technical aspect of the content can be looked at with more objective eyes and I think most would agree they have done a good job.
However the quality of the actual scene, performance of the actors, sex appeal of the scene are completly subjective which is why I only touched on it breifly in my review.
Personally I like it :)

I actually joined AnalTeenAngels.com but as my comments are valid for the whole network, I thought it best to place my review here. This is the second time I have been a member of the network, the first time being from Sept - Nov 2009. A special offer email tempted me to join again now (Mar 2010), the offer is actually the same that is available on this site ($20 a month)
A lot has changed since I was first a member. Most notably the interface. Reading reviews here I see there are mixed feelings on this, I personally like it but I using only very basic features. I find the interface allows me to quickly queue up for download all videos and photo zips for a whole site to download. My only wish would be to have direct links to download the whole video scene and zip picture pack at the top of the scenes page.
The download speeds are generally excellent, I have a 100mbps connection and 90% of the time I can download a 2 GB scene in just under 3 minutes. Other times the download speed drops to a crawl and I am lucky to get 20KB a second. Thankfully these slow download periods only seem to last for a short period and them pick back up again.
UPDATE - The slow download speeds seem to be a thing of a past. I can now reliably download videos at 5 megabytes/sec using DownThemAll. Downloading 3 files at a time maxes my connection.
In addition to the periods of slow downloads, there have also been times when the site has been down completely. I have only been a member for 3 days but in that time there have been 3 periods of 2 - 3 hours where the site completely refused to work or would work for a minute and then die with all sorts of nasty errors. They were server errors (database timeouts mainly) so the problem was definitely not at my end. Funny thing is, the non member pages were working OK when the members area was having issues so they must be hosted separately, smart but sneaky move.
UPDATE - This has not happened in the last 2 months, it looks like whatever was causing these issues have been solved.
I also notice since my last membership they have been upgrading a lot of the older videos (.mpg, .mp4) to wmv. Having downloaded several of these new upgraded scenes I have to say that the quality is noticeably WORSE than the original files. The new high quality WMV files are lower resolution, lower bitrate and have completely washed out colours when compared to the original file. So don't waste your time "upgrading" your collection.
UPDATE - I have now downloaded more of the updated videos. On some sites the quality is actually quite a bit of an improvement but on others its worse as noted above.
UPDATED CONCLUSION:
I promissed to come back and give this site a 90 if they sorted out the download and site stabilty issues. They seem to have done just that, the last 2 months have been pretty much problem free. For the price of the membership (only $10 a month after 3 months) and the quality of the content, this site is just about as good as it gets. |

Javascript is not the issue, its the code that can be written and the way the browser executes it that causes the problems. As javascript is not compiled, it is up to the browser to interpret and execute the code as it sees fit. Any security holes are a fault of the browser and are not inherent to javascript itself. bad code can be written to exploit these holes.
Turning of Javascript completely is fine but you will find a lot of sites refuse to work without it. I personally use Firefox with the addon NoScript which alows me to pick and choose which sites I trust to run Javascript and which I do not.

When a simular concern was posted about ScoreHD I did some investigation. This site uses the same signup form and security, so the comment below which I posted for SocreHD is still valid:
"I had a poke around and it looks like they are using Jquery encryption to send the details to the server via Javascript. So even though the address itself is not SSL encrypted, the credit card details themselves should be. Try the signup form with javascript disabled, nothing works :)"
