Mmmmm. A web site primarily dedicated to people who look at and talk about porn (an illegal subject in many parts of the world) wants to limit discussion about politics? The smell of hypocrisy and college "safe spaces" antics is just a tad too overwhelming for me on this one.

I look at the question from the perspective of sites that charge you more just to be able to download. So far I've avoided them but I'm guessing at some point this year I'll bite the bullet and do it.

I've done a few of these but I've always checked out the terms of use before doing it. Often you have to cancel immediately after you sign up to ensure you're covered. Don't really do them any more since most sites of any quality don't do them much.

The best way to drop your IQ by a few dozen points is start reading scene comments. However, if you're looking for cheap trollish entertainment just start leaving negative comments on a really good scene and watch people explode.

I enjoy it but just not the herky jerky hand held camera movements that too many of the sites rely upon. A separate camera operator is really needed to make it work right.

Again, like most I think space is the issue for me in that I stick to 720 most of the time. The difference between 720 and 1080 isn't great enough to justify the extra 3 gigs a scene. My preferences would be different if I watched porn on a big screen but watching on my monitor is plenty for me.

I also have Comcrap. I was wondering if you knew for sure that they slow download speeds or are just guessing? I've also seen the same issue with slowing download speeds and just thought it was more on the websites end as opposed to the middleman.

I'm one of those who regularly approach the character limits but I don't mind the current limits. If figure if I'm going over the limit I'm probably just ranting too much or not clearly saying what I'm trying to convey. Nothing wrong with having to edit your work.

If you've been around this stuff for a while you pretty quickly figure out what you like and don't. When have limited time on top of that you tend to stick to what you like. At this point I don't think there's much new that would grab my attention.

Imagination (by either the author or reader) is not the same as reality. While shouting "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater is not necessarily protected speech, writing "Fire!" isn't going to get the same reaction. Two different beasts in my book.
