"The Tome of Erotic Photography and Lighting: An In-Depth Guide by Denys Defrancesco" - now that is a book I would pre-order on Amazon.com for sure! It would be especially cool if it was made in the big, coffee-table style hardcover, so it would not only be an important technical reference, it could also be an interesting conversation piece that people could pick up and leaf through. Each instructive photograph printed on glossy heavy-weight paper - built to last a life-time.

I would definitely prefer to be behind the camera instead of in front of it - but if there was one week school on porn - hmmm. Well Skip Barber Racing School charges 3 Grand for a two day, high-performance driving school, not including transportation or accommodation - so for 6 days of porn - 6 Grand would be a pretty damn reasonable - I would have to save for a while to build up that much cash, but that would be an interesting experience. Learning the technical side of pornographic photography: composing shots, setting lighting, directing models, editing photos, choosing locations, and so on. That would be worth the money!

Maybe one of these days I'll organize a Photography Course with famous guest photographers teaching various classes for a week - like those always advertised in PopPhoto - except this one will all be famous pornographers! That would be awesome! I'll have to keep that idea on the back burner...

I wish I could afford even an 8th of the equipment he is using - that camera alone is worth more than 4 grand! (Let alone knowing how to use it) You know, DDF Productions should start a porn photography course - that is something I'd save up for a trip to Hungary for, lol (hmmm... $900 for the plane ticket...)

Your point about the brides & bridesmaids really puts a different light on all those camera ads featuring them. I always assumed they were trying to say that with this or that camera your client's glamorous wedding would look even better - maybe instead they were saying your glamorous porn shoot would look even better! lol

Bah - I'm saving up for a 1080p HD DLP Digital Projector - image diagonal: 100 inches! Of course the downfall to this is that the system total price, when including the screen, the projector, the ceiling mount and the extended cabling means a price tag reaching into the mid two grand.... Yes, it may be a few months before that comes to fruition. So I suppose having a 22" display today has its benefits.
No matter - Blu-Ray won, must upgrade!

Useful review, thanks - repetitiveness in these super-niche sites is a real difficult hurdle - though I must say the unique nature of this site's content has me intrigued. I hadn't realized until today that they had gotten rid of the Token system (I know, I'm behind on that one) - I've been rather interested in the site for awhile, so I may have to join now that it has been unleashed.
I took a quick ganger (the action, not the waterfowl) at their "What's New" page and I think the best answer to your question about update regularity is one video and two photo sets per week, with a little bit of wiggle room... It would be nice if they put a date on the coming soon stuff though.

messmer, why not invest in a nice widescreen monitor with a rotatable stand and then just leave the monitor in portrait mode? Or even just align it that way when you are viewing photos.
Portrait for many stylistic and practical reasons is the popular trend right now, I doubt that'll change too soon.

Not sure why no one answered this, but simply put: Nope, they aren't VR, just POV. I think you technically can download the videos, but you wouldn't want to because you'd lose the interactive functionality. The website is token based, so you own videos for life once you buy them. No need to download, just hop on the site and rewatch. It would make sense for them to switch to VR, though I imagine they'd need a specific Oculus or Vive app to make that happen, and I have no idea what the official stance on porn is for those companies. Since Facebook owns Oculus, I'm guessing it's not a positive stance.

Pin-Up WOW does look pretty good, I'll add it to the list :-)
That said, Pin-Up WOW doesn't seem to feature all the post-production work that Martha's Girls had. It also seems to be focusing pretty strictly on emulating 1940s style pin-ups, while Martha's Girls recreated content from as early as the 1900s and as late as the 1970s.

Damn - $40 a DVD is insane. Even if that were blu-ray that would be seriously expensive. Plus, with streaming-only for the website, $10 a month would be more in the price range I look for. Over 300 hundred bucks a year is a bit much to ask for.

That would indeed be wise :-) Though you might be surprised the terms and conditions you have inadvertently agreed to in the past. Sometimes it requires as little acknowledgment as taking the document into your possession. Trains were covering all kinds of crazy conditions by just printing them very small on the train ticket and stating that by taking the ticket you agreed to the conditions. I think in the end they got in trouble for that, but it worked for a while, lol

I don't usually read the Terms and Conditions but I'll bet this isn't all that uncommon. In business in general it is common practice to reserve as many rights as you can think of with no concern as to if it will or will not hold up in the court of law. If you had it written down in the first place it can do nothing other than help you. So they write it down and hope for the best. If you check the policies of many companies outside this industry you'll find the same thing. The company I work for reserves everything excluding possibly enslaving your offspring to pay off debts incurred. Though we might have an addendum that covers that.

I still have a membership with 21 Sextury entirely due to the fact that it is only 10 bucks a month. So that is probably still accurate. As I recall, when I joined, they knocked the price down each month, so it started at 20 bucks, then dropped to maybe 18 then 15 then 12, stopping at 10. Something like that. It is a large enough network that I usually feel they've well earned their 10 bucks. Plus, since everything streams quite well, I don't worry about actually downloading their content.

I agree wholeheartedly that if you join this site for the nudity, you'll get bored and bored fast. It is the same models standing around naked day after day. However, I do like the site for its news content and the personalities of the models presenting it. I personally don't have access to normal TV news - though when I do I find that is uniquely terrible - and NPR just depresses me. The programming on Naked News is too short - I'd prefer 1 hour shows - but I find they are rather balanced and cover a lot of European news that you just don't get to hear about in normal American TV news (and yes, they are Canadian, but they obviously cater to the American market heavily). It is a niche genre, but they do it quite well so I don't mind supporting them.

I must say I'm little bit confused as to what happened here, but I'm glad you liked my reviews and joined the site. I don't think you'll be disappointed - as long as you keep in mind that there isn't exactly a ton of content, what is there is pretty damn good.
Also, if you like Mora, I've been told that she's getting her own dedicated site that will be part of the ATX Network, so the network will be having lots more of content from her in the future.

There is a definite problem with typos on the site - only one Sofia - and as far as I know, there is only one Tatiana video currently on the site, I hunted through.
As you said - that is a high score, but the content, what there is of it - is great! Being that this is 640x480 video, it is really quite crisp - what would put it over that 90 barrier? More content, some indexes that are organized in an understandable fashion, HD video, even larger photos and more content. That is the number one killer, I'd love to give this site a 95 - I honestly like the network that much, but there just isn't much content at all. The subtitles are great, the fact that they took the time to do that is really inspired. The camera work is great and the models are all quite cute.
As I said before, you really won't be seeing any beauties like you get in eastern europe, but these girls have their own style and flare that gives the network that x-factor that really pushes it up about 10 points for me. If basically the same content was being done with a bunch of fake-breasted bottle blonde Americans, and if the cum shots were more like the spittle that passes in most main stream porn, yeah - this would probably be scrapping 75 - but it's not, and that is all that matters :-)

Looking through the preview photos, I gotta agree with you - it looks like they are using seriously sub par equipment. My $700 DSLR takes photos that are just as good. One really needs to foot the bill for a proper camera if they want to be METArt 2.0.
