So, have you contacted the site? The post you replied to was from 2011 so it might be a while before the WM revisits our site.
Only the site and/or the cc processor will really be able to give you an answer. It could be any number of problems.
For instance, have you ever done a charge-back for an adult site? I've heard of that sometimes causing problems with future sign-ups.
Anyway, mainly just wanted to let you know you were responding to an old post. Your best bet will be to contact the site directly.

I can't say this any cleareer except that you must read past reviews before you join a site or you can wind up with some very unpleasant surprises. I suspect you didn't do that because if you had then you would have seen that TBP has stopped doing business with them and that is always a major red flag. Then there was a review done in 2009 that gave the site the lowest possible score.
I know that I get no greater pleasure than warning other people that a site is to be avoided. Doing a review for a good site is fun but making sure that a crappy one goes out of business doesn't compare.

I too have very poor speeds in the UK. In fact, I have a problem with many sites in the US.
This ipartly why I prefer the euro-based stuff. I reckon it has to do with the trans-atlantic shared networks.......not necessarily your specific ISP.
But, yes, I feel your pain !
Is it possible to use a D/Load Manager ? that way, just leave your lappy on all night.

I'm glad you mentioned the slow download speed. I was just about to write a comment about it when I saw yours! Mine are anywhere between 60 KB/s - 350 KB/s during one download.

I was a member to the site last July -i've been a member a lot of times- and the DL speeds were lousy, around a seventh of what i used to get in the site.

Since the webmaster at DDF recommended using the DownThemAll! plug-in to firefox, my perspective is "Slow downloads - what are they?" If I'm having a slow download, I use DownThemAll! through the firefox browser and I'm getting downloads once again at 515 kb/sec - which is my current speed right at this second from Videobox - I'm happy.
