Pros: * Can search for movie titles or models * Massive contents, currently has 7500 DVDs in many categories. * Price is very reasonable * DVD Video quality is good for half the time (See the cons for the other half) * Good download speed, can use download manager. Cons: The aspect ratio of DVD quality videos (especially wmv) is wrong for half the times. While most videos are meant to be viewed with aspect ratio 4:3(except for newer ones at 16:9), Videobox encoded them to aspect ratio 3:2. As the result, the screen is stretched wider, so is the girls' faces or bodies. While this is not obvious to most users, but once it comes to my attention, it becomes quite frustrating. Correct me if I'm wrong Here a scenario: having downloaded a 25 minute scene which could take up 800 Mb, way too large for a non HD video(thanks to extra encoding to stretch the screen wider), and you end up with a video which doesn't look quite right. The provided DVD quality h.264 videos don't have this problem. They save disk space, but they can be a a bit grainy due to high compression during encoding. Besides, the model directory leaves out a lot models' names appear in the DVD scenes. You better off using the search box, but then you need to know the name of the girl Bottom Line: Has very annoying aspect ratio problem(I sent Video box my feedback twice, but only got auto responses). Need a completed model directory. They offer good content at a reasonable price, and for the most part, that has not changed. What I was not aware of was how awful their customer service is. When I purchased my 3 month membership awhile back, I had an issue with a few videos, and they never got back to me. I had my account to Brazzers hacked, so I emailed VideoBox asking if any other IP addresses had logged into my account. Again, no response. Then, this past week, my membership renewed, but for some reason, I couldnt log on. So, I email them on Tuesday, and I get an automated email saying "This could be your issue...blah, blah, blah...please allow 24-48 hours for us to respond." So, I allow 48 hours to pass...no email (and yes, my spam filters allow their emails to get through). So, I email them again, telling them Ive already sent one email and got no response. I got the same automated email. I checked this morning and still god no frigging response. So, right after that, I contacted CCBill and asked them if they could help. AN HOUR LATER, I got an email saying they refunded my money. I contacted VideoBox, told them to forget it, and that they just lost a customer for life. Most other sites manage to have enough bandwidth, so why can't Videobox? They refuse to acknowledge that the problem lies with their server. They are doing a brilliant job in everything else: the ability to edit and download only what you want is one of them. Basing their recommendations on your preferences, stored under favorites is another. Usually they are right on. But!!! But what the heck happened to their speed since I was there last? I get, on average, speeds of up to 1.7 MB/s on other pay sites, but on VideoBox, downloads have trickled down at speeds ranging from 45 (multiple downloads) to 245 KB/s (single downloads). Great feature - The ability to select scenes based on your personal preferences. You can go to the My Videobox tab and then the Preferences' tab and rate 42 different categories. The rating scale goes from "Agh, my eyes" to "Hell yes". After you select your viewing preferences Videobox then chooses several scenes (multiple pages) based on your criteria. You can save your favorite scenes, DVDs and porn stars. Cons: Not exclusive but that is more than offset by the quality and quantity of porn offered. Bottom Line: Video Box is my standby. I have been a member for over 2 years. The price is super if you opt for the one year subscription because Video Box throws in another 6 months for a total 18 month subscription. If you are looking for good quality, diverse porn you should give VB a try. Pros: - huge amount of content - easy browsing and downloading (you can estimate how easy the browsing is by looking at the free preview, I have rarely seen such a well done preview) - regular and massive updates - countless niches and once more: A LOT of content - very reasonable price - great blog entries and a nice community - nice options of saving videos/ editing them Cons: - the content is all from dvd's so not real fresh faces or exclusive content - the new premium offers make browsing a bit more difficult (if you only have the basic membership you must make sure to de-select the premium content) - sometimes the streaming player freezes and you have to download a video to see it Bottom Line: This is simply the most porn for the price, and the most varied too. From teens to milfs and fat porn they have it all. I think they only miss gay but they have a special site for that too. The errors are minor and I will become a member again soon. The only reason I didn't give it 100 is becuase I never tried contacting the staff but they seemed a bit distant, and the website (the streaming player part) can be a bit buggy. Apparently Video Box bought them out. I can't log in to the actual Video Box site though, only the former Redtube site, but the seem identical. In any case, I have massive technical problems with Video Box. Every single time I use the site, several videos will not play. I click on them and then nothing--just loading, loading, loading forever. No matter how long I wait, they never start--sometimes this will happen to 7 or 8 videos in a row. Also, when you try to add a video to your favorites folder nothing happens. Also, many of the videos are upside down. What's really annoying though is that several emails to customer service have ALL been TOTALLY ignored. I have never received any answer to any email. Pros: Well organized site with great navigation and a substantial archive of DVD's Cons: This site caters to the anal,,DP,throat-gagging crowd.Nearly all updates feature these scenes-those that do not feature bargain basement DVD'S that you really do not want to watch due to poor technical quality or the unattractiveness of the performers.A new gimmick on Videobox,is Premium channels,an upgrade from the "premium subscription".These channels feature Vivid and Evil Angel.I have not subscribed to either,but have "previewed" some of the content however, it appears to be pretty much the same stuff I can get with my regular premium subscription,just newer.
