I watch everything once, when I download it, to see if I'm happy with it and it's worth keeping it, but after that it may happen that I don't watch it in months, or at all, and finally I decide to delete it.

I find the allure of video material way more than the erotic pleasure it delivers. I tire of it very quickly.
However a good image set is a thing of joy. I reckon this is down to the 'build-up' being tedious on video yet giving a damn good tease in images.
Of course this is photographer and lighting dependent. Set editting is an art that sites seem to understand better than video editting.
Another way to evaluate this could be Mb/Pleasure ratios although this would be irrelevant to those with huge internet pipes.

It is your answer "less than 1/3rd", right? I easily understand that you're getting tired quickly of video, but why do you download that much knowing that you won't view it anyway? Is it because of sites not having reasonably good previews/picture sets to allow to make a good choice, or just because of "download all I can" paradigm, or maybe there is some other reason? Just curious.

This question is very similar in nature to the "Do you download more porn than you actually watch?" poll we had already. But anyways, I watch all of it. I dont always get around to watching it right away, but eventually it gets watched. Usually after i download I just skim through the video to watch, then watch it fully weeks later.

I always download more than I ever see, although it's nice to find a gem I downloaded months ago. But for the most part I have more than I'll ever watch.

I know what you mean. I was just going through my downloads and found a movie I downloaded a while ago. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how that one slipped my mind because it is a great video!

I'm sure I'm well over a few terabytes of porn now. It's definitely more than I'll ever be able to watch, but I'm a collector by nature so it just piles up onto DVD-R after DVD-R. The biggest problem is where to put them all when I know I will have visitors lol!

Cool! It might seem lame, but finding something I don't remember downloading is like a mini-Christmas...since you don't ever remember it costing you anything. ;)

I watch everything I download and keep and rewatch what I do download a few times....I archive the rest especially if I like the girl. I look for her the model in different sites especially if she is younger, to how XXX she goes in her career.

I think there are a number of factors.
a) Many vids start with industry chat, which might be interesting but not a good prelude for what is about to come (see SurburbanAmateurs for a good example of how to start off).
b) The progression is under the control of the videographer, not the viewer, you can speed and skip parts but this is not the same as an image set.
c) It tends to be a continuous performance, its very hard for a model to look at their best for every second.
d) Some models have a speaking voice that just shatters the illusion!
e) Images tend to have better resolution

I see, thanks for commentary. But it looks more of discussion on "why pictures are better than vids" rather than "why download all the vids you won't watch anyway" :-).
Also a question about resolution: I've seen comments like "this site is great, they have pics with resolution of 3500 px width" or something like this; as an image fun (you certainly sound so :-)), can you tell what are people doing with such big images? They won't fit on screen anyway (and scaling algorithms built-in browsers suck, so quality will suffer); maybe somebody prints them or...?

I'll watch it at least once, and what I really enjoy I'll burn and probably watch a few times later on.

I love downloading. And then I watch it. And then the male in it ruins it and I delete it Lol!

With a hi-res image, you can enlarge without dimishiment of quality. For instance, if there is a long range view of a model, you can enlarge it to show her completely in the frame without her getting fuzzy! Of course, other people use this technique for more devious reasons! BTW, this is why body part close ups in high-res photography is so dumb. For those gynecologically inclined, the zoom suffices. But we are way off subject here.

Well, Sir,
As an image fan I would say that I've spent more on my monitor than my system and disks put together. I run at 2560x1600, and quite frankly if I thought there was a better monitor out there, I'd start saving!

Wow (honestly, I didn't even know such a beast exists)! But still 3500 pixel picture width should be beyond even your capabilities :-) (and when downscaling with browser, quality suffers, I'm sure you won't object :-) ). So I'm continuing to be curious - do you like anything above your 2560x1600 pixels?

Asmith
Check out:
http://www.apple.com/displays/specs.html
I have the 30" (sounds a bit rude doesn't it)
There are higher resolution monitors about:
http://www.mondale-its.com/products/Tech...olution_Monitors.htm
However I'll leave those until they are just expensive rather than ridculous!
Cheers

Wow! Probably I should try to get such a 30" Apple beast; I used to think such things are in $5k+ range, but at $1800 (well, it will be more here) it is not prohibitively expensive.
And just curious - do you know how much that 3840x2400 thing cost?

I watch everything I download, but I keep less than half. I don't have a huge memory in my computer and making dvd's takes up a lot of space. If I don't like it or just get so used to it that I don't care-out it goes.
