I'm a little disorganised, but getting better. I have a few identical pairs of 3.5 usb hdd's, a 4tb pair, and a couple of 2tb pairs. In general, I manually sync using rsync. I browse with firefox, and have shelve running. Shelve saves all pages visited for selected sites. I then have python scripts which process them to extract the desired data (e.g. pornstar details or scene details, hopefully including download filenames), and then store these as json files, and also in a mongodb database. I am gradually developing my own local database, and hopefully in time a kodi plugin so that I can stick on a small hard drive or usb stick containing downloaded movies and the metadata about the movies stored, and the stars involved, and also a simple web frontend to the database so that I can search for scenes from those already downloaded, and possibly those I have yet to. In addition, this serves as a psychological reward to figure out how all this stuff works. | |

My porn stash is probably fairly tiny compared to most PU users. I have only been downloading 720 and 1080 vids for a few months, ever since I got my first subscriptions. I believe I just hit the 90 gigabyte mark, so I have no trouble storing everything on my main 1 TB hdd for now. I have another 1 TB drive and a little 2.5" 320 gigabyte drive that are not installed in my tower yet. I imagine, in the future when I need more space, I will just move all of my porn over to its own separate 1 TB drive. For me, I prefer to keep each "site" separate. For instance, I have a folder specifically for Evil Angel videos, a folder specifically for 21 Sextury, a folder for Team Skeet, etc. Within these folders are sub-folders labeled for the sites within the main subscription. For example, my 21 Sextury folder has multiple sub-folders inside; one for DP Fanatics, one for Asshole Fever, etc. My method may sound a little weird to most of you but I like to know exactly how many videos I have from each of all of the different sites I have access to with my subscriptions. I try to correctly title the video file with the exact same name it had from the website I downloaded it from. After that, however, I usually don't bother organizing the videos once they're sorted into the folder of the site where they came from. This is because I have specific interests (namely anal, dp, and gangbangs) which are clearly going to be present in much of the porn I download. In other words, it would be pointless for me to organize the videos by the actors/actresses in it or by the type of sex involved because most of the sites now-a-days are very niche-oriented and almost all of their videos will have similar actors/actresses and a general "theme" for how the sex goes down. For instance, I wouldn't waste time filing my Evil Angel videos under "anal" or "gaping" because those things are practically a given for that particular site. As far as the picture sets go, I only have two or three complete photo sets; I never usually bother downloading them. If I were to start downloading the photo sets I would probably just make a "pictures" folder for each sub-site folder and put all of the sets in there.
