What is the deal with Epoch Sites & Trials? In the past few days I have done some trial subs with the following sites: Kayden420 - stopped working after 2 hours Plumper Pass - Never worked and I got a refund And for some unknown reason the user pass stops working in a couple of hours or doesn't work at all, I mean WTF is up with that? Like this morning I joined Kayden420 about 2 hours ago and it worked, I downloaded a few vids then I log off, so here I am now trying to log in and it says I have a bad user pass, also customer service is only by email so that is useless since my trial is for 2 days and we all know customer service isn't that prompt. So basically, instead of a 2 day trial I get a 2 hour trial, which is bullshit IMO, so all in all, be carefull with your Epoch trials because they will probably stop working the moment you log out of the site, so if you join an Epoch site by trial then do a porn rush and collect all you can asap because it might not last long. Have any of you had this problem with this or any other site by billing company?

I find both Epoch and CCBill very reliable intermediaries. The trouble could be with the site, something Epoch has no control over. If they experience too many problems with a site like the one you describe they will drop it in order to preserve their good name. Edited on Jul 19, 2008, 06:11pm

I've had recent problems with Epoch declining my debit card. Not for sure why, but I am guessing it is becoming more common because Twistys now is offering multiple sign up options, CCBill or Epoch, most sites say they do, but on Twistys, you click on which one you would rather use. The Epoch one rejected my payment, I went back 1 minute later and joined from the CCBill page, it accepted it. I had similar problems last year with Epoch on Eve Angel's site, I used a credit card instead and it accepted it, both had plenty of funds but it doesn't like my debit card for some reason. As for the trails canceling before the 2 days, that is more than likely more the site, than Epoch. Some sites have a policy that when you cancel, you lose access, as unfair as that is, I know of at least 2 sites that do it. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Never had that happen before...Epoch is pretty consistent so is ccbill...always shows up as a discreet charge on my CC... If your having problems contact the site Admin. for help...If they get back to you and help then great, if they don't get back to you then they have shitty customer service so fuck 'em, move on!

Uh, "discrete?" Are we talking about the same Epoch and CCBill? Copied from my credit card statement: EPOCH.COM *TWISTYSLLC EPOCH.COM *BRAZZERSTE CCBill.com *FTV Limited EPOCH.COM *EAPRODUCT I'll bet you can guess the source of the first three charges without my having to provide any hints. The fourth is the Elegant Angel website which is the only "discrete" charge. Accuracy and reliability of both services is 100% OK, but the "discretion" part needs a little bit of work.

I guess that is the sites fault... my charges show up like Verotel or paycom. Epoch and CC bill have to use whatever name they are given by the company...Hope you wife doesn't pay the bills...

I also recently joined Twistys through epoch and had no problems even when using a debit card. In the past I've had no problems with them either and generally found them reliable although I would agree with CaliFornicator that the billing isn't always so discrete.

I have never had this happen to me. The billing is always CCBill or Epoch.

i doubt the problem there is with the biller... either epoch or ccbill... on that site "kayden420" the members area is protected by strongbox... so it could be that strongbox disabled your user for some reason... which could be it got stolen or its not setup correctly so it banned your user or IP.... im sure their support could give you a better explanation.. btw email support is not always that bad you should give it a try... we use email and i even check it myself all day round... cheers. thy atxnetwork.com torbenetwork.com

It's the sites themselves, not Epoch. About 99% certain on that based on my previous experiences. Whenever I have trials that don't work right, it's the same problem regardless of what I used as billing. I can say that I prefer Epoch over CCbill because their search actually works.

Though I've used paycom-->epoch many times since, there was once a BIG problem with one site in April '07, when epoch was still paycom. The site was chasingirls. Signed up for a 3-day trial for 3 bucks, then got the bait 'n switch. No downloads unless I signed up for a longer period. I went to cancel at paycom, then there the site offered $14.95/mo if I'd stay (regular price: $24.95). So I took that. THEN when I tried to access the site, I got a strange message "unauthorized upgrade." Now how in the fuck could it have been an "unauthorized upgrade?" And I had NO access to the site content. So I contacted paycom to cancel and refund everything. They said OK. But then they didn't refund me. I wound up getting billed $23 dollars on my next credit card statement for it. Seemed to me that no one knew what they were doing, or if they did, they weren't being at all good to the customer. So I stayed away from paycom sites for a couple of months and I've never bothered again with that chasingirls site at all. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.
