There is Entirely Too Much Red in Porn I’ve recently been revisiting my collection of still images on several external drives. There are more than I thought, over 1.4 million pictures and that doesn’t count the hundreds of zipped files I’ve found to put on my to do list. Over the years, nay decades, I’ve noticed there is entirely too much red in porn images and videos. What I’ve recently noticed is that even images and videos that don’t appear to be too red, can be greatly improved by the neutralization of reds, magentas, and yellows. A few seconds, and one or two clicks, in Photoshop can work wonders in improving still images. Boosting the cyan level to neutralize the red, and tweaking the green to kill magenta and blue to kill yellow, is a quick and simple fix. (Digital color works differently than paint pigment) Adobe Premiere can vastly improve the look of videos and adjusting vids in the VLC Viewer, (Interface/ Effects and Filters/ Video Effects / Enable, can temporarily change the look for individual viewings. I have thousands of what I considered to be sub-standard pix and vids that I haven’t gotten around to deleting, which I’ve found now to be quite salvageable. I never looked at it as pictures having too much red in them, Micha, for me many were too color saturated. It probably amounts to the same thing. I prefer "cool" colors in my pictures as well as on TV. I only found one site that presented "cool" consistently, and that was Abby Winters. | |

Nice entrance Suk - The vast majority of men in the world are uncut. While cutting has been part of some cultures it's the exception not the rule. I think this is funny. One says there's too much red and I've always, for some reason, thought there was too much blue. Not in skin tones, but in the scene settings. As far as the skin tones go, that's one of the reasons I got into video editing. Years ago it seemed common for a lot of scenes to have skin tones in damn near orange. While you take exception, I did point out that some cultures did cut but I failed to mention a time frame. It wasn't that I was slighting anyone but that over time "majority" of uncut will win out.
