British porn Looking for feedback on the subject: British Porn! This user has quite a lot of favorites here - british models. We've seen them mostly at US-sites as actors there, some at the extremely soft Only Tease and some at Panty Amateur (better than Panty Maniacs). But still I have this feeling that british based porn does NOT reach the quality of videos and photosets the way US-sites does. I remember looking forward to Michelle Barrett aka Michelle B's official site launch a couple years ago and feeling absolutely let down when I eventually joined. It's not listed here and I don't find it at Google so it's probably extinct. There's also a British model under contract with Vivid: Nikki Jayne. The only UK based company I recall is Killer Gram. Looks pretty interesting but the little content I've seen falls short in comparison to any medium-sized US reality network. | |

British sites that I've liked (not disliked) over the years have been BritishTease and VivThomas (who is actually from South Africa but whatever). VivThomas has been one of the best, though is list is stocked mostly with Eastern Europeans. (Not complaining!) And as Ruth mentioned, and I agree, SimonScans has good quality content. I'm just not into the style of things there. It's a great site for those utterly obsessed with toyplay. But that's about all I can say on the sites. Haven't seen too many of them, though I was once a member of something called "Hot Toddy." My guess that "Hot Toddy" (or is it "Totty"?) means "trim" or "quim" or "pussy." Too lazy to look it up. Maybe Squirrel will spring forth with lexical aide. There have been a number of Brit models over the years that I've found enchanting: Karen White, Adele Stevens and, as Denner mentioned, Michelle Thorne, along with Charlotte (SimonScans, Suburban Amateurs), Cori (BabesUK). It's kind of funny, that my old pal here, Drooler should mention VivThomas... The site has damn fine material - in photos. But the video-material lacks some - or even a lot - in viewing quality - mostly. That video-quality has grown better lately - but compared to some other top-rated sites....? And that seems to be the problem for many uk-sites (not all, for sure). Like SimonScans - here we have tech-quality, but the video-style (models, editing, scenes ect.) in general have been questioned quite a lot at PU. (I'm not a fan, BTW). Just recently joined three rather unknown uk-sites - because of models - but all turned out to be in the lower grade regarding video- and photo-quality. And there's a LOT of misserable uk-stuff out there - take a look at one of their foremost TBP-style sites: http://www.bgafd.co.uk/index.php One crappy site after the other...(BY ALL MEANS - thats not only uk-sites - shit comes from all over - but it's kind of sad that there's so few uk-topsites). British webmaster Ruth points out AllRuth - fine. Just took at look at the site: And (wauw) page after page at the preview (what looks like a HUGE content) - even some videos in that preview. But the customer does not get any idea of the size and quality of either videos or photosets. At the videos it states for time: Movie: 0:00 - that's not a long video.. Till you get to 2006. Then you get some hint. BTW: AllRuth is also a part of SimonScans according to TBP... And finally for fetish fans, too: Take a look at this site: http://www.passionuk.co.uk/ The preview shows what can be done with british porn regarding video-quality .... As Drooler mentioned above, there are quite a few British sites, and, yes, SimonScans is probably near the top, but it still is a very toy-focused site, though a high quality one. Personally, I have begun prefer the British European models (if they consider themselves European) over the tidal wave of Eastern European girls on nearly every site today, so a really good British site would be very welcome. Yes, hearing it that way, it sounds like more of an inspired moment than "I gotta go grab a quick bite" or some such. Actually, brunch in the US isn't a snack. It's a Sunday thing. Folks might not get up as early as on other days and then they'll just have late breakfast/early lunch, which is brunch. That is, just two meals that day, dinner being #2. But it's hardly cutting down. Sunday brunches at eateries tend to be pigouts. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

I still get thrown off by how some regions say "pop" instead of soda, because it makes me think of crappy music, not something to drink. Yes, I hate those really strong accents myself. The opposite of public school is not the way I have heard it described, but it fits perfectly. (Yes, "common" would be a good description, which makes me sound snobby - but I am English after all). Another awful accent is a really strong New York (especially Bronx or Queens), or Yankee type accent. Whereas I quite like a really strong Southern or even Californian accent. Yeah, I think "common" was what I was going for there. There definitely are a lot of American accents that I don't find particularly attractive, especially having lived in the U.S. nearly my entire life. My least favorite is a Boston accent (no offense to anyone from Boston). I actually like the Brooklyn accent quite a lot, especially when a girl is speaking. But of course they'll want to lose it if they think it will make it harder to get a good job somewhere. As for Boston, I like it, too, but perhaps it's an acquired taste. I've had conversations with people from Boston or the surrounding area and had a really tough time understanding it.
