Guys, there have been other personal things going on, not problems, just gigs and performances all over the place, I'm also promoting a documentary about me to the film festivals with a local University, its just been hard work doing anything! As soon as I can settle down to it, I will!!! I currently have about 8,000 good images, which are just lovely! I'm still here. Still a project, but it is on the back burner, I've been working on something much MUCH bigger, which is taking much of my time up physically working. Looking financially at the websites, the money I get returned from mine is not worth the effort, like $200 per month if I am lucky, too many site rippers taking everything for $9.99 (Converted to British pounds wouldn't even buy me a packet of cigarettes) and not returning for months on end. I'm not a major site with review buy ins and it really is only me doing it, which is why I've been working on setting something up that works for ME in the long term. 1 girl = 1 months earnings from the site. I have upgraded my photography equipment (Canon 5D mark ii) on the upside, I can now take spectacular images of the girls once I get them in. I'm not giving up on it, it is something I wish to do, finance is the problem, this is a heavy investment! £200 per girl is lots of money.... HOWEVER.... I am gaining a small following of volunteers! i think this would be a great option and i wish every site offered this. it would be awesome to be able to just download one scene for like $2.00 itunes style, rather than having to pay for a monthly membership. being able to go to any site and just buy one or two scenes without joining would be amazing. this would also eliminate the frustration of joining a site and then realizing there are only 5 good scenes on the whole site. with the pay-per-scene option you could just buy the 5 good scenes at $2 each, rather than paying $30 for a full membership. i'm surprised most sites don't want to offer this option, because if you think about it, when most porn users join a site, they probably download around 80 scenes during that month...if a user joins a site for $30 and downloads 80 scenes...they are getting each scene for about 38 cents. websites are practically giving their scenes away. with the pay-per-scene option they'd probably make more money off of people who don't want to commit to a monthly membership but might be willing to shell out $10 for 5 scenes. this way the site is making much more money per scene...you'd think they would be in favor of this. of course, one problem is that in order to do this they would need to allow everyone to preview the full scene...maybe they could just provide A LOT of screen caps...like maybe 200 screen caps so you can see what the camera angles look like throughout the whole scene. if a scene offered 200 screen caps, that would be enough for me to see what the scene looks like to determine if i want to download it. ^I don't expect to see that kind option because itunes is only able to offer songs as such a low cost because of the sheer number of people that download it and because the file is tiny compared to any porn scene. A porn scene is 20 minutes or more so that's at least 6 to 7 times the length of most songs and the file sizes is significantly bigger than any song so that automatically increases the cost. If you look at movies on itunes than the prices varies from the level of resolution and the popularity of the movie. I looked at the recent Mirror Mirror which goes for 25$. The file is 3.2G and last 1:45 minutes so one decent porn scene is about 1GB then it should cost me about 8$ to get it using the itunes calculator. I might be willing to pay 5$ for one porn scene but it would have to be out of this world since i can normally join any site for 3 times that amount and get hundreds of Gigs of great porn. To give you a geberal idea of single scene vs a website then take a look at these two sites. They both share some of the same content but the owner of the first site decided to open a mmbership site because toomany people were complaining that his pries for a complete scene were way too high and I suspect that he noticed that he was making any money with the clips4sale site. of course the membership site is still quite small compared to the old site but if he keeps ading to it then he will soon see that people will join this site and not download the scene from the old site. http://clips4sale.com/40522 http://www.dirtpipedivas.com/tour.html Long live the Brown Coats. | |
