Do you just get tired of seeing certain models? Thought this would make an interesting topic. For the majority of porn girls it seems they may just do a few scenes here or there, or perhaps they will go through the US rotation of companies regarding regular porn and you'll see their videos pop up for a few months. But then you have the models that just never seem to go away. I'm not sure if it's actually more with Euro models, but perhaps since a lot of the sites I like to visit have a lot of euro models I notice it more with them. Some examples (including some US girls): Zafria, Clara G, Peaches, Belladonna, Aurora Snow, Suzie Carina, etc. So, do you get tired of seeing girls like this? If so, how long does it typically take you to get tired of seeing a certain model. For me, there is definitely an invisible time line (or perhaps it's number of scenes) that a girl hits at which point I no longer care about them and have no interest in seeing their content anymore. That is even if originally I found them very intriguing. It seems I need a constant flow of new girls to keep me happy, and sites that tend to keep reshooting models, especially the group of DDF Euro models that are everywhere, I lose interest in completely. I wonder how these ladies keep getting jobs, but they must be popular so either people don't lose interest in them like I do, or there is enough new people who surf porn to keep the demand up. New models, you mean. To me, new stuff can be of models I like, and there are many, even the ones who have already had tons of exposure. Actually, it might be because there are so many that I rarely get tired of any particular one. I do a lot of collecting, of photos, but I certainly don't keep everything. Usually the gallery has to have at least one dynamite "ass pose" or I'll skip the whole thing. I'll go through a whole 16 new posts in a day at ATK Galleria, for instance, and get nothing sometimes. Well, make that 12 now, since they've just gone to 5 photo updates x 12 galleries (used to be 5x16) per week. That's a 25% drop. But you're still right. I might look at a model I've seen a lot of and think, "Oh, you again." But then I also think that later I'll wish I'd gotten the pics, so I'll get them. And later, sometimes, I'm glad I did. Still, I love it as much as the next horndog when a hot new model comes on the scene. But for American models, I have a proposal. If you're American, you know those community service program ideas that the politicians like to tout every now and then? Why not make nude modeling or porn an option? Newly minted 18-year-old babes could do their 100 hours that way, then stop. You'd have a quicker turnaround of fresh babeness, then, wouldn't cha? And the websites wouldn't have as many "agency" girls to deal with, which are the kind we're mostly talking about here anyway, right? Yes, I know, it's not normally what we consider as giving back the community, but if you think about it, it is giving "back" to the community! I don't consider myself a collector per say. Instead I'm a treasure seeker. What I mean is that I look for the scenes or sexual acts a specific model has done. I could give you names but, Drooler has given us an amazing sample of girls and I won't even bother adding anything except to say...Good Choices. Because I look for specific things a model has done, then I'm less likely to get tired of her as might someone else. Of course I get tired if a specific model does the same thing all the time. when that happens I simply stop looking for new stuff or even bother saving it. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

That's it: "Treasure seeker" Well put - and this neverending search for the models of your own favorite - may also be what this is all about. Man, I agree with Margulis that it's a bit tiresome to browse through an ocean of models that simply does not do it for you. Funny, but quite a lot of some names of models here I have that feeling about: too much and too boring - like Clara G for one - and all those repetions of models at Reality Kings and Bang Brothers and Brazzers - well, a few sites does new models in a new way - but they are too few, alas. I'm not too critical of websites, because they find a style that works for them and don't often deviate from it. Of course that can be a problem when you have issue with that style. That makes it hard to stick weith them regardless that they might have beautiful models. I don't get tired of specific models. I usually get tired of seeing them performing the same sex scene or in the case of photos, in the same kind of photosets they've done countless times before. A good example for me is that I love watching anal sex. I'm not sure why, but I do. It's always a joy when I find a model that was either softcore or at least mild hardcore decide to take hershey highway. It's not much of a joy, when she's driven down that road 20-30 times. I can't say that I'm getting tired of my favorite models but, being a picture collector, I leave many of their sets on the site because I get bored with what they wear or with what they do in a particular set. To me, a woman in order to be truly erotic, has to be sensuous, sensuously dressed and preferably in a bedroom environment. I don't download cotton or denim but when it comes to sheer nighties and panties and other good stuff like stockings and garter belts .. yum!! I can't say that I am tired of certain models as much as I am tired of them doing the same thing over and over again on multiple sites -- very boring and repetitive! It's as if no matter where you first see them they will continue to perform and look a certain way until they try some crazy niche site (though it can occasionally be interesting to find a model's older material, even if it's softcore). There have been models over the years that I could not find enough of, or at least enough decent material of them. I'd say that anyone who has to have everything that a certain perfomer has done is a true collector. A non-collector is someone that looks for certain things that he/she likes and keeps those. I know what my porn collection is used for, but I may be the only one who does that sort of thing while watching that stuff. Long live the Brown Coats. | |
