But how come we still have members on top-lists ect. who is no longer active. For one: Roseman, who's still a numero 3 at "most points". He's not been active/had any inputs since the summer of 2009. Maybe our ol' friend has not checked out? Still? Should there be a time limit of non activity? (And should anyone try to tell me, it's because I've been "downgraded" lately - it's no such thing). "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle"

Would you like to see the PU points system change so that points expire after 2 years along with reviews? The short version is that you will gain the top spots when you've earned more points than those who now have those spots. Hope that helps. If that happened, my bet is that within a day of his point loss (as in the "All Star" system Wittyguy describes), Roseman would return and would be less than happy. I get tired of seeing the same names at the top myself, but I figure that's just me, being human. We like to see new things sometimes. That's why the payroll deduction tax extension hullabaloo got so old so fast and why the only interesting thing about the Republican party presidential contender competition is that we get a new up-n-comer every so often, even though every single one of them have said things that disqualify them for basically any kind of respectable leadership position you could name. PU accounts aren't like bank accounts, which can be seized by the state after so much time unused. Think of it: Your PU points will last longer than real money! I usually do a complete revamp of each of my sites roughly every two years. That usually leads to a completely new interface, new presentation, lots of new features and other changes to improve the experience. A two year old review is likely to inadvertently be very misleading. As long as it's made clear that points/reviews etc older than 2 years won't count, I really can't see anyone complaining. Plus if someone has been inactive for over 2 years then I would imagine it's incredibly unusual that they would return and expect their account to even still exist. It's just the points the user earned from submitting them remain once earned. For the record, Khan doesn't have a twitter list, nor facebook or any of that other "social networking" stuff. I didn't notify roseman in any way. And no, he's not a relative. I suspect he does as any number of other formally active users do ... he follows PU w/out active participation. But that's just a guess. As far as points w/out posts ... PornUsers launched in Jan of 2007. The forum wasn't even opened until March of 2008. So you see, there was a year (and a few months) where users had activity but no forum posts. FWIW, a poll run in June of 2010 showed that less than 40% of those who answered said they were regulars in the forum. See: Do you participate in the PU forum? hmmmm ... might be time to re-run that poll to see if the numbers have changed much. Speaking of activity -- hopefully not "passed" -- is Wittyguy going to do a "PUey" Awards for 2011? The first one, in 2008, was Dec 1st, and they've come a bit later each year, but now I'm starting to worry as this year's has not yet appeared. I've really been looking forward to it. Hope it's on the way ... I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

When I look at my site reviews I can still see the review scores of reviews that were older than 2 years, so I assumed everyone else could too.
