Inspire me! Have you ever had the feeling of "Ok, that's it, I've downloaded the internet now"? Well, that's my feeling at the moment. For some reason, I can't seem to find any new, decent sites and my standard sites are either producing utter crap as of lately, or are not updating enough. So, if you have any recommendations, feel free to post them here! As some of you might know from my comments or reviews, I'm a video guy and prefer hi def videos (1080p). Besides that, I'm open for everything, hardcore, fetish, midcore, I don't care as long as the model is hot. At least to me, the utter crap you're talking about is the world of gonzo - porn cranked out like paper from a copier. I don't know why this seems to be my stock answer these days, but I'd say check out Joymii. I was on the site close to the time they launched it and I really liked what I saw - a good mix of solo action and hardcore. Well-lit, no guys abusing the girls and no couples trying to fuck each other in every position they could think of in 10 minutes. With the highest resolution listed at 1280, I can't imagine the video would look bad at all. TBP just reviewed them in January and gave them an 88, but that number looks like it reflects the lower score they gave for pictures - not much of an issue for video fans. I'll second RB's recommendation of JoyMii - if you like the other heartcore sites like X-Art etc, then this is my favourite so far. Note that when I was a member, the videos went up to 720, not 1080 - this may still be the case, so confirm if 1080 is a big thing for you. But I tend to download 720 anyway, and they look pretty good. | |

No, messmer, it's not your age. It's a greedy industry that's sacrificed quality in favor of quantity. Not that the people here represent porn subscribers everywhere, but what we're starting to see on PU might be an indication that people are finally getting fed up with mass-produced crap. Maybe the sites will have to start finding a way to put some individual flair in their material. Then again, it might be just be wishful thinking on my part. It would be nice though! I couldn't agree more. But for things to improve two things have to happen. First, the porn industry has to care enough to listen to its customers and second, we have to support those that do put quality before quantity. A true neck-lover. | |

I have now come to the conclusion that although I haven't downloaded all the good porn there is out there. Most of the sites that I used to visit simply no longer produce stuff that I care for or produyce so little that I won't join for many months. Did you look at ddf? Similar to 21sextury but a little more expensive. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Aren't your ideas of what makes a scene good better than what you pay for now? I sit down and watch a scene and I'm pissed at the fake sounds (what I call hiss & awe), the acrobatics from one pose to the next, the whack off money shots - it drives me crazy (as it does others on this thread) Bibo and Messmer (to name two) are losing interest because the mainstream shit is so bad. I wish I had saved the articles I'd read on why not to try getting into the porn business. They came from sources of both failed and successful producers. Unfortunately, Google isn't being much of a help in finding them again. But, what I do recall from my reading is that there are so many unseen issues to be dealt with that the chances of actually making money are slim to none. Aside from the need to buy all the equipment and find the people to be in your productions, there are legal matters to contend with, insurance issues, health and safety concerns, and, in general, just dealing with all the people involved in the producing your product. ^ Sorry - I did not mean to give the impression that making money was the object - I said, make our own scene. Do you have just one, from over the 1000's of scenes in your collection that you can't find some fault with? I have scenes that are really good, but there is ALWAYS something I would not do, most often the whack off at the end. Just seems there have been treads discussing how to make a better scene and there is only one way to correct what we don't like about porn. It may never happen - but think about it. Thanks but no-thanks. Besides, a project like that is one that works ok as a fantasy but if you try to think of it in detail, the idea starts to fall apart. For instance, how easy do you think it would be to get agreement about what would make a good scene for you guys. The folks preferring solo wouldn't want b/g and then there's the toy vs no-toy preference to consider. And you'd have to include a lengthy strip-tease that ended in absolute full nudity. Not to mention ... I think you get my idea.  Anyway, that's a project I'll have to skip.
