I like the idea/concept even though I'm not a fan of tattoos especially on a female body although it can be very sexy depending on where the tattoos are actually!

But tattoos located on a girl's arms, shoulder, chest or belly are a complete turn off for me.

Again, these are my tastes and preferences.

Hey, I could see that catching on.

They'd look like the hot Twi'lek slave girls (Star Wars reference).

Or the Orion slave girls from Star Trek

Nice one Graymane. I wonder how many would actually take up that offer. You should patent it right now, then start up a company with the usual get out clauses, you know the sort, not responsible for cancer, ill health, pain, death, or mental incompetence. That should cover it.

One can only guess what body ornamentation will be next. Here in Milwaukee it was not legal to have tattoo parlors until about twenty years ago and now they flourish all over the city. A lot of these parlors brought in piercing experts that will poke a hole in and part of your body, and I have seen some serious body piercing.

I'm not against tattoos. Some women I have known have attractive tattoos on their arms, chest and back. I prefer soft colors and natural designs over dark barbwire bands.

I can see skin color happening. Not to dark, but maybe pale shades to highlight certain areas. Not Much different then getting your body covered in tattoos. People already go to tanning salons,so what is the next step from that? Warning Will Robinson Edited on Feb 05, 2014, 06:13pm

Thanks, guys, for your thoughtful response.
I was beginning to think this thread wasn't even gonna get off the ground. But our ol' dependable-goodfellows > Squirrel, biker, and my first-timer .... Mr. lordy-lord, and especially our esteemed and fearless leader, with that unmatched post exemplifying the real-deal, all who came through and at lest got it on life-support.

BTW, khan ......(maybe its jus' me) but since thread activity appears to be slowing down a tad, would it be acceptable then to go back and pull out some of our own, older threads, particularly those that got a respectable number of hits, and bring them back?

They were just starting to trim themselves, but plenty kept their bush natural. I added a footnote about her having one of the better looking styles. Warning Will Robinson

At the risk of side-tracking this thread, I'll address this question.

The short answer is sure, if you want to resurrect an old thread (regardless of who started it), you're welcome to.

Of course you're also welcome to start a new thread on the same topic.

As an aside, a poll question along these lines was run several years ago ...
In the PU forum, would you rather see an old thread revisited or a new thread started.
... that had some interesting remarks on the subject.

If I might offer a personal suggestion ... don't take forum threads too personally. Remarks like, "I was beginning to think this thread wasn't even gonna get off the ground and "... and pull out some of our own, older threads ..." makes me wonder if you aren't getting too concerned about how a thread takes off (or doesn't). How a thread evolves will depend on *many* different things. To take it personally if a thread you start doesn't take off is just inviting stress into your life that isn't needed or warranted.

It does........ and its about the kind of sage advice I expected to see from you.
I haven't forgotten the same information you gave me early on in my membership in which almost verbatim we had this situation that you addressed.
And it stuck. But in this case it has nothing to do with bruising my ego ..... it's mostly about threading things that'll hopefully generate some form of entertainment value for others on this forum.

I remember those threads I did post that created raves of favorable response. And please, without putting feathers in my own hat, I have to say I was exhorted enthusiastically to give'em more of the same.
Conversely, more than successes, there were bombs I posted that sank like lead balloons.

So you see, sir ...... It's the ones that worked so well before, that I'm referring to re-visiting.
Shucks! the whole idea could blow-up in my face. But I can honestly say My intentions are solely in the interest of providing something that could benefit others.
And its not like I'm bringing threads back in-mass, but just for-a-while select ones here or there that did work well before. Edited on Feb 05, 2014, 11:59pm

The porn industry has already been on this band wagon for a few of years now. It started when some genius decided to make parodies of different tv shows and movies that have either cartoon characters in them or women who wear full body makeup. Think of all those great (NOT) porn parodies like The Simpsons, The Smurfs, Star trek and so on. Long live the Brown Coats.

Being a science fiction fan I have a number of DVD's that enter this realm. I don't like the parodies all that much, but I do have "Deep Space 69", that is not really a parody, where it looks like they had an actress put on a fishnet body suit and then gave her a light spray of some dark color. Not a bad effect. She appears to have scales. I also have "Porn Stars from Mars", where they sprayed on so much green, not sure what they used, it cracked during performance and ruined the effect. Yo, biker .....then do I have a tale for you!
were you around a couple years ago when I did a thread about being abducted by aliens?
Seems they're yanking people out of their homes, cars, taking a walk ....or from wherever they want.
They're collecting us via a method akin to the old TV Star Trek method.
I think In my case (To best describe it) ...a transporter essentially dematerialized a human body at one point only to rematerialize it in the transporter bay on the ship. Somehow, it broke down atoms and molecules within the body -- scattered them through the vacuum of space without losing a single one from point A to point B, then voila, that person re-emerged out of thin air

I never knew what happened until I was in the spacecraft facing a crew of small funny-looking creature ready to relieve me of some of my body parts.
However, They couldn't use any of mine because everything was too old and dried up. That's about how I lived to tell about it.

That happens to be among the threads I referred to Khan that I wanted to bring back.

If you or others want me to bring it back, just say so.
Otherwise, another way is to simply go back into the archives and dig it out.

Or, simply say nothing an never know what might be coming. Edited by Staff on Feb 06, 2014, 10:22pm (Khan: fixed quoteback)

Personally I prefer all over blue skin, pink skin, whatever, than those awful tats. You've probably all seen the horrendous sight of a body virtually all covered in tattoos.

Orion slave girls from Star Trek, yum!

Being a stockings and garter belt lover I am offended the most when I see the tattoo of a heart (or whatever) peeking out from the top of a stocking. It ruins the whole image ... literally.

^I wonder if the stocking and garter industry has seen a boost in sales in recent years from producers requiring that their models wear them to hide all their tattoos. I seem to recall seeing more and more models wear them in shoots where I know the model has them on her thighs and legs. Long live the Brown Coats.

I suppose that might work if they use really dark stockings, made of heavier material than nylon. For some of the models they would also have to be extra long.

I watched a scene with Lexi Belle dressed (or rather undressed) as a smurf, all in blue. Was a hustler parodies production iirc. Can't say it was arousing, but definitely funny.

Seeing as most of these all-over body paints are slaves, I'd think that most women would choose having tattoos, even the hideously cliché "girly" ones we all seem to think of when we want to make a personal case for why women shouldn't get them.

Outside of porn, I know and regularly see a ton of women--younger, around my age, and older--with all varieties of tattoos. Granted, I live in southern California, where the social and geographic climates coalesce perfectly for seeing plenty of body modifications and plenty of the body in general, so I'm somewhat biased in having less of a preference regarding tattoos and whether they make someone attractive.

No, not all tattoos are equal, and I've seen plenty of ugly, hideous ones, but I also have a few myself and don't exactly see the benefit in advancing some subjective argument about personal and largely harmless choices regarding a person's body.

And at their most extreme, these arguments bring out the worst in supposed libertarians and "freedom" loving pundits. People who, despite a professed love of personal liberty, seem to always draw the line when people do shit they simply don't approve of; whether it be food, drugs, entertainment, or even (gasp!) manner of dress. And arbitrary exceptions for certain activities by certain people--the continual and tired argument that it's "okay" for military veterans to have tattoos, but no one else, comes to mind--only make the overall opinions seem even weaker.

But I'll give PU some credit where it's always deserved--being far more tolerant than countless other sites and forums when discussing the same subject. Where the PU rant of "I don't like ___." transforms, quickly and hideously, into "Thou shalt not ___!" Suddenly an opinion needs to be an enforced rule to satisfy that authoritarian part of the brain we all sadly seem to possess.

Khan's quote above was some great food for thought: "A wise person once said: 'What screws us up most in life is the picture in our head of how it's supposed to be.'"

And an H.L. Mencken quote adds some wisdom and a little humor: "Moral certainty is always a sign of cultural inferiority. The more uncivilized the man, the surer he is that he knows precisely what is right and what is wrong. All human progress, even in morals, has been the work of men who have doubted the current moral values, not of men who have whooped them up and tried to enforce them. The truly civilized man is always skeptical and tolerant, in this field as in all others. His culture is based on 'I am not too sure.'"

"It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hardcore Commie works." - Gen. Jack D. Rippper, Dr. Stranglove
