However, if he was a paying member of the site and just burned a DVD for his convenience, then a good argument could be made he wasn't violating the terms of use for his membership to the site. However, the article reported he'd baught a DVD that somneone else had downloaded and burned, so in that case, it was almost certainly bootleg.
