Movies Dear Forum Members, I'm a bit puzzled and I'll hope that the more experienced porn collectors hopefully can help me out? I've been a member on and off of a number of soft- and hardcore websites. Because I pretty much a fan of full porn movies I started to buy DVDs. At a certain moment I stopped buying DVDs and I started to rip this collection to my NAS. All these DVDs are either NTSC or PAL and even with the best ripping tools the result isn't always what I hoped to expect in terms of resolution and quality. I'm actually confused which option should suit me the best. My PC is equipped with a Blu-Ray drive but long not every studio is releasing their content on Blu-Ray. I browsed many online shops and apparently Digital Playground is by far the only studio with the biggest collection of Blu-Ray discs. Buying Blu-Ray discs is one but then again I need to rip them I have want to have them digitally on my NAS. I browsed the web and already found a few alternatives but... DorcelVision.com has a pretty nice collection of their own studio as well as other studios. After payment their movies are downloadable in a number of formats (depending on the release date of the movie) and come in one piece while I would rather have them scene by scene. IMHO their movies are a tad pricy. Next to that you never know in advance which download resolutions are available till you buy the movie. Because of my location I can't for instance buy movies from blacked.com or tushy.com. A number of online stores have downloadable options but I haven't tried any of them so far nor am I sure about the quality and resolution. I was recently a member of EvilAngel.com and I think they have pretty much their entire collection online. I have no clue if there are other porn studios which have their entire collection available online for download? Any advice is more then welcome and much appreciated however I prefer websites with 4k Ultra HD content or else at least Full HD content. Thanks in advance. | |

1-Are you looking for a site that allows you to download complete dvd's or just the sex scene from said dvd's? This is rather important because I'm not aware of many site that allow users to actually download the entire movie. The main exceptions are streaming sites like AEBN and Hot Movies but you are going to pay nearly 20$ for those movies 2-If you only want the sex scenes than what kind of porn are you looking for? You gave Dorcel and Evil Angel as examples so is that the kind of porn you are looking for? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

That's because DVDs are lower resolution than we generally think. In the high definition terms used these days (4K, 1080p, 720p), DVDs don't qualify as high definition at 480p. It is better than traditional television though.
I think that is because Blu-Ray requires licensing fees that smaller studios can't afford. That said, almost all of them are releasing their content digitally in 1080p HD, which is the same as traditional Blu-Ray.
Buying a Blu-Ray only to rip it back into a digital file is an exercise in futility, just download the 1080p HD video from them directly and save yourself the trouble. Digital Playground is even offering 4K downloads now.
Is that your main concern? Having the scenes stitched together? That is very easy to do with digital video files. There are a ton of free video encoders that can achieve this. VirtualDub and AVISynth come to mind as Divinx recently mentioned them.
For regional restrictions, nothing beats a good quality VPN service, and they are cheaper than you'd think. You can easily specify your location as the United States, Sweden, or wherever else gets you the content you need. I honestly am not sure why you care about a studio having "their entire collection online" if you only care about 4K HD and Full (1080p) HD, as that is only going to be movies and scenes from at most the last 10 years for most studios. It would have to be a very cutting-edge studio to be filming in 1080p before 2006 (Blu-Ray was released to the public in June of 2006). So for most studios, 2005 and earlier would be DVD quality at best. So really you just need studios that are currently posting new work, because that's where all the 4K content will be. Honestly, almost everybody is doing at least 1080p these days and it is becoming increasingly uncommon to see sites not uploading in 4K as well. The short of it is you need to let people know what sort of content you are looking for. If you are looking for full-length movies that feature a cohesive storyline that threads through the whole film, those are pretty damn rare these days and Digital Playgrounds and Vivid are some of the only companies doing it. If you just want story-driven porn, there are a ton of sites doing that, from independent sites to mainstream sites like the titan of internet porn: Brazzers "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" Hi pat362 and Toadsith, Thanks for your replies and please accept my apologies, although I speak 4 languages, I'm not a native English speaker. Explaining what you want, seek, etc.,.. isn't always easy in a foreign language. I'll hope I'll do better now based on your questions and remarks. I'll start with the kind of porn I like. I like all kinds of porn as long as it concerns legal porn and within the boundaries of straight, bisexual female and lesbian porn. With all due respect but gay and transgender porn isn't my personal cup of coffee. I like porn of all ages from the golden age of porn till present (+/- 1960's till now). As main categories I like softcore, hardcore, fetish, lesbian, BDSM, etc.,.. I value solos as well as couples, threesomes, foursomes, group sex, gangbangs, etc,.. Regarding niches I like anything that goes into those main categories. I like female porn stars from all over the world or in other words I'm not a fan of one or more specific female porn stars nor am I looking for porn stars from a specific country. I'm not into streaming only websites because I like to download movies or scenes I like. The available resolutions are nowhere mentioned so you only know which resolutions you can download after buying the movie. Once you bought the movie the movie is availble for download but once downloaded it gets locked. Suppose you have the misfortune of a hard disc failure you have to contact Dorcel customer service and ask them to unlock the movies again which requires to provide them all the order numbers of the movies you ever purchased. My main concern is not to stitch the scene together as one movie rather the opposite. If I have to buy the movie as one movie I rather feel like splitting it up into scenes. I like this method because then I don't have to scroll through the movie to find the scene I want. Thanks for the tip about the VPN solution. I was aware of such software or service but never used it before. I'm aware that older movies or scenes probably will never be released or re released in HD, Full HD or even Ultra HD. I guess I will focus myself on movies or scenes that are indeed originally released in at least Full HD resolution and forget about the rest. ^Never apologize for not being as fluent as other posters in English on this forum. Especially when you already speak four languages. I speak only two and there isn't a day that I don't wish I could speak more or at the very least read them. Older content will never be released in HD because the source material was never shot in HD and current technology can at best clean up the video to remove some of the static. This is even les possible the further back you go because some of my favorite porn is at least 20 years old and some of it was shot on cassette recorders and released on VHS/Beta. There are tons of early Dorcel movies that I would love to own in any format regardless of the video quality because these are still some of my favorite movies but alas that may never happen.
