Porn Regrets I've been pretty lucky with my porn purchases over the years, but I'm sure some of you have joined sites and come to regret it, either immediately or later on. Anyone care to share their stories? | |

Of course, happens a lot to be honest. Whenever I happen to bump into such a site, I usually write a comment here. In my books, there are three types of epic fail. Epic fail: level 1 The content doesn't hold up to the previews in terms of quality (or quantity, although quantity is someting you can check before you join). About a year ago, I subscribed to one of the Private spin-off sites, which turned out to be the epitome of this very failure. Epic fail: level 2 Cancellation problems. I must admit that this happend very rarely to me *fingers crossed*. The most annoying thing I ever came accross was a site that would send you an email and you had to reply to this email in order to cancel the subscription. Failing to do so in three days time would resub your subscription. I think this was GGG, not sure though. However, this is totally unacceptable. I also noticed a trend amongst a couple of well known sites, where the online cancellation form is magically broken, so you need to email the webmaster and cancel via mail. Although this is not a big issue, it's still annoying, because if I want to cancel a sub, I want to do it right away and not check my emails after a couple of days to verify that my cancellation has gone through. Epic fail: level 3 Complete mess. Broken download links, horrible download speeds, hidden download limits, hidden up-sales, login/password problems... you get the idea. Since you're asking for stories: All this level 3 failure happened to me once on a site (I managed to erase the name from my mind). They managed to succeed in all the mentioned points, plus! they pulled the stunt to label old (and I mean OLD) stuff as "new" on their frontpage. After I finally managed to cancel my subscription, the webmaster even had the cheeks to email me and ask why I left and what they could to to improve their site. My first reaction was to ignore the email, but then I decided to reply and it was not a pleasant message I wrote.  | |

I love Bibo's Epic Fail level system. There's at least one more kind of "fail," and that's the "Hope Against Hope" fail, which was my most recent. I'd joined PJ Girls once because the models were hot, the content was abundant, and the quality was good. However, seeing the content, I realized that it just wasn't my thing: so much object insertion, orifice stretching and the like. It's basically a Czech cousin of ALS Scan. However, I like ALS Scan sometimes just the same. I'll put up with the modus operandi of a niche site if I can just get some nice ass material of certain models. But I'm fussy as hell about the ass material. It has to be just a certain way. So what do I do? A year or so later, I join for another month of PJ girls. And what do I get? More of not my thing. This is where the learning curve had gone up ... and then went WAY back down ... before going up again. At least it's stayed up since then. I guess you could call it an Epic Succeed now.
