WTF Earlier this year Freddie makd many many mistakes. This site has been very neglected for a long, long time. MikeC promised changes. Little actually changed. In the Spring the ASD debacle happened. MikeC did nothing, no support,he even told me to stop harassing the webmaster. I believe the webmaster was actually Rick who used to own this site and now owns that one. More recently he took down a review I wrote because a webmaster objected. He claimed I used a preview for a review. I did not. It was a paid membership, but I did not want another member in trouble because he gave me the log in information. More recently a staff member Zoey attacked in a mocking manner one of our female members Aly. I believe that Zoey was either MikeC or Rabbit trying to start a conversation to get the forum on fire. Totally inept. I will give you a pass on not catching LK2s rule violation on re reviweing a site. That was not easy to figure out unless you were looking for it. I will not disable my account, you close it and take the heat. I will ask Exotics if he wants to stay. I doubt he will. Edited on Aug 27, 2019, 11:29am | |

I don't want to get into any kind of flame war on this forum, or even make this debate public. However, since you choose to do so, I will address your points to the best of my ability: - ASD: Not sure how this constitutes a "debacle." You didn't appreciate that the webmaster corrected your factually incorrect assertions by going onto just about every review related to their network of sites to slam him. You were in the wrong and were called out for it. It happens to the best of us  , but your reaction to that was inappropriate. - To my knowledge, Rick is completely out of the industry; he sold TBP/PU precisely for funds to move into his next venture. - Zoey is the Managing Editor of RabbitsReviews and has been since moving up from a review writer over a decade ago: https://www.rabbitsreviews.com/reviewerp...px?revAlias=Pussycat There was a misunderstanding between her and Aly and is not something needed deliberated again. The issue was settled in that thread. - The review you are referring to is Ersties. The webmaster did contact us (which never happened in any other review written about his site) because he believed strongly that you based your review entirely on the preview membership. Looking over the review in question, I did notice multiple references to the preview. Further, he did a simple check on your avatar name and found that an Mbaya signed up for a preview membership during the period you wrote the review. When I contacted you by email for more info (no decision was made yet as to what to do with the review), you responded tersely that it was incorrect and that you use multiple emails. I then requested what email you used and you went silent. And as to the story that it was actually a friend's login, you could have responded to the private email discussion we had about this very topic. And since you want to go public with all of this, here is the rest of the email I wrote to you on the subject of the Ersties email: "As you know, PU operates on good faith and we don't go about trying to "prove" that PU members are actually members of the sites they review. When it is shown to us definitively that someone wasn't a member, however, it puts us in a difficult spot because we can't defend a review from someone who didn't actually join the site. People read these PU reviews. People land on PU from Google and read these reviews. The Webmasters themselves read these PU reviews. And while we have and will continue to defend members opinions (so long as they're not grossly inaccurate or in bad faith), we can't allow a review to stand from someone who was demonstrably proven to not be a member. It would be akin to reviewing a movie based solely on the trailer" And may I just add to that there is also money involved. We give away $200 every week to what, in all honesty, a rather small pool of people writing these user reviews. And as you, Mbaya. can attest to, the winnings can add up. It's not fair to other members who are writing reviews in hopes of winning the weekly raffle and it's not fair to the readers who are getting only a partial view of the site in question and its not fair to the webmasters whose livelihood depends on honest and accurate reviews. We appreciate your longstanding contributions to the site and if you choose to go your voice and opinions will be missed. | |

OH!! I have copies of what I wrote here today as well as every response. Make deletions of these posts at your own risk. I have email addresses of more members than I can count. I know a ton of webmasters as well as some that are not even listed here. | |

I've been a member for twelve years. I can't say that I like the way that site as changed. Reading the above has prompted me to make my "public" farewell. I'll feel a bit better once I click "Disable." Aloha ... I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |
