Fareyewell young maidens Just a thread to help us all in infos about gone stars (not dead, by all means) So: Who among our favorites have stopped doing what we like? Phew... Denner, for a moment when I saw the thread title, I thought you were leaving... ; ) Among my absolute favourites Dani Woodward, Penny Flame and Roxy Deville have all retired, which leaves just Silvia Saint in my personal "first tier" as the only one who's not fully retired. They all were so enthusiastic in the stuff they did, only a douche bag stunt cock could ruin their scenes (oh yeah and then there was that one scene where you could clearly hear the director several times throughout the shoot. Hearing some off-screen guy yell stuff like "Roxy put your hand on your ass!" was absolutely limp-making). Roxy apparently got a boyfriend, retired and got married as I learned recently. Penny Flame had trouble separating her "porn character" from her real self, so she quit the business to get help. I'm not sure about Dani, but I think she had a girlfriend she wanted to be with. But it was their enthusiasm that separated them from everyone else, it would have been a shame to see them stay so long that they'd lose that spark that made them special. They have given me countless hours of pleasure and there will no doubt be more as I don't even own half of the movies they've been in (Dani for instance I have only 34 out of the 162 she's been in according to IAFD). I've actually been a member of Club Silvia Saint for a couple of months now, I've just been dallying a little, I'm not very disciplined when it comes to getting everything from a site within a month, unless the site is absolute crap. There are a few more that are on the verge of retirement. Aneta Keys had been inactive until a recent set on 1byday. Sophie's site had sent thoughts and prayers to Aneta last year because of a bad car accident. Aneta really never fit the mold of model anyway. When did Roxy Jezel retire? I just saw her do 2 Naughty America live shows a couple of months ago - awesome personality, very sexy. I think this post by Denner shows that not all pornstars are in in for the long run. As with exotic dancing, I believe most stars which are young are caught up in the moment and think the business is right for them. I can see this business as being very demanding and stressful (just like all females potrayed in mainstream media) as being a certain body shape, personality, and 'way' that people want them to be. Personally, it seems the models that retire quickly are ones that do an extremely large amount of content in small time frame and this provides argument that any change amongst these models down the road can be seen as positive or negative. Meaning, any change in body shape or personality over time can mean the audience will react either positively or negatively. This results in large pressure that I'm sure is unhealthy amonst these models. I can't blame any star for quitting, because I think health should come first. It's funny because I usually find the first few content by most models as the best because they are the most enthiustiac. After awhile, these models are probably thrown in to a niche that they are expected to do or just see another scene as just another paycheck which affects performance. It's a strange and different job which surely affects each model in different ways which will sway their decisions to go on with more content. As I said before, I can't blame them at all. Just like all people, things happen in real life that affect them which will change their outlook on which they are doing (marriage, boyfriends, family, salary, the business in general, and so on).
