Trust Ratings Hey everyone....I sent out over a dozen trust ratings yesterday using an iPad. I logged on today and noticed these didn't go through. I tried again today for a few people and it still didn't work. Anyone know if it's because I am using a tablet? Any reported problems using that? Lol I hope this does not sound bad but the trust rating system is still in place right? I suppose if it's just my device acting up or something I will have to try again using my PC when I get home and see if it works there but I predominately use my tablet for browsing simple sites and would like to continue doing so for this site. I tried to trust someone the other week using my desktop pc and it didn't appear to go through so I would guess it's not down to your device. | |

Hmm I wonder if the system is shut down for now or something? I hope not because this feature supports user activity for reviewing. It's always a warm n fuzzy feeling when you write a review and receive a trust rating from the hard work put in to it. It's always good to have a system in place to show new/newer users that others know they exist and are acknowldging the activity. This way they don't feel like their reviews are pointless or not appreciated by others who may not comment due to non-interest in the site/sites reviewed or the user mostly active in other areas such as the forum and so on. Sorry I went on a rant, it's probably just down temporarily or something but I don't see anything about it unless I'm missing something somewhere which is entirely possible lol... Hi guys! The trust ratings should still work. I'll talk to our dev team. Thanks for the head's up!  Wittyguy, thanks very much for the suggestions. I agree with you completely. We do advertise the PU raffle on the PU Twitter feed, but showing it on the homepage once again is a good idea. I think we just wanted to start small to make sure all would run smoothly, but now that it's up and running, we can look into making it more prominent.  Edited on Feb 15, 2016, 06:22am | |

A subtle animation to the red block that advertises the raffle would be a good eye catcher, too. People are always drawn to motion in an otherwise static picture. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |
