Masuimi Max/BadMax.com Masuimi Max has been doing her site, under various different names, for a long time - at least since 2003/2004. And she's always been known for doing site redesigns and playing with the pricing. I have been a member at various points in time, though not for several years now, though I stop by every now and then to see what's up. Today I noticed on Twitter that she is really pushing people to join her OnlyFans instead of her site, badmax.com, so I took a look at the site to see what is up. You can't tell anymore whether it's updating, where she used to be pretty clear about updates, and the pricing is clearly not going to attract anybody - the current price for her site is $200 for 30 days - no, it's not a type - recurring at $25/month or $100 for 2 days - non-recurring. so apparently she realllllllyyy doesn't want anybody to join her site anymore. Everything she posts on the freeones board is encouraging people to join her onlyfans and to turn into her shows on CamSoda. Anybody know what percentage of subscriptions OnlyFans takes vs ccbill or other credit card processors? Perhaps that's the reason for the new business model. | |

Technically speaking these two things have a lot to do with adult entertainment but they aren't the same. CC Bill is a credit card processor for a wide range of online products of which I suspect most are adult oriented but Only Fans is a platform from which models can upload their content which may or may not be adult oriented. Here is CC Bills info on cost: Virtual Terminal Rate 3.90% + $0.55 Payment Gateway Fee Undisclosed Registration Fees $500 - $1,000 Per Year Monthly Minimum Fee $10.00 PCI Compliance Fee Undisclosed Equipment Lease Terms Undisclosed So that basically means that it cost at minimum 620$ just to have the service then you have to add the cost for each transaction. The business model is a lot easier for Only Fans. They take a 20% cut of each dollar the models charges and that can be a lot depending on the number of members a model has and her join price which OF allows their model to set. It looks like she started testing out OnlyFans in July 2019. It may well be that she found that the straight 20% worked best for her and has gone all in and just keeps her website in existence as a backstop in case OnlyFans changes the payout. OnlyFans also might pay out faster than an established credit card processor like ccbill, though someone with actual experience would have to chime in to confirm. OnlyFans also allows for complete price flexibility - flash sale prices, etc. Masuimi has always played around with her website price more than any other adult model I have ever encountered, so that could be quite appealing. | |
