Top 10 PU has a list of our all time "Top Rated". Here's what they are at the moment: 1. Fucking Gamble 2. Sex and Submission 3. ALS Scans 4. Met Art 5. Teen Models 6. Suicide Girls 7. American Vice 8. Explicite Art 9. In The Crack 10. VideoBox According to the filter PU has set there have to be at least 4 user reviews to be considered for this list. Do you feel 4 reviews is enough? Do you feel the top 10 sites displayed are worthy of their position on the list? | |

A very good question! Personally I never really got the hang of that so called "Top Rated" at PU (never use it) - and I certainly agree with Goldfish, that it's somewhat strange - and very much so compared to TBP toplists and PU reviews in general. If I look at these ten tops, I'm confused - AND do not feel that some here are "worthy of their position"....(like Goldfish asks) But why does PU have that particular list - and what does our friends at TBP/PU expect that PUs can gain from it? - I think there are so many better "lists" at both TBP and PU... The only one that really surprises me is Suicide Girls. Seeing as how there is so much dislike of models with tattoos and their site is filled with tattooed models. I think Fucking Gamble and Teen Models are two newer sites that are just doing a lot of things right. They're probably benefiting from being newer and having years to see where other sites went wrong. I've been on Teen Models twice and enjoyed the site. Going to try that Fucking Gamble out soon enough thanks to their "games" with Simony Diamond. American Vice has 3 things going for it, a great webmaster, what should be the industry standard search engine for DVD sites and the 5 free tokens for new members to try their site out. While I like In the Crack, I don't see why it scores any higher than Give Me Pink did, the sites nearly match each other in technical quality and nearly the same style of content, same models. I'm glad Explicite Art is there. John Root and all his kookiness has some really nice exclusive models there and in my opinion, the sexiest collection of black models. I still think he would benefit from changing Art to Sex, as I'm sure some think it's a softcore site. Sex and Submission could be any of the kink.com sites and one of their sites deserves a top 10 so doesn't really matter which one. ALS, it would be my #1 site if Alex would combine ALS Scan with ALS Angels. Instead, I find myself hardly joining either. I like the quantity of updates and content of ALS Scan, but prefer the models of ALS Angels. To join them both without that special he was running, costs $55 a month. If other sites separated models by slim/curvy, I wouldn't complain about it, but as it is, I think he's the only one who does it and charges for two sites to get the models you can get on all other sites with one charge. Agreed!  I don't think I had even heard of Fucking Gamble until I read the thread and it definitely doesn't look like my kind of site. I am also curious about Suicide Girls; I would have thought it was a small niche, not a Top 10. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? They might not even read it. They are a busy bunch, which certainly shows, and the webmaster--at least the one who responds here, and who is not Alex--probably checks the review pages for new comments and replies there more often than in other areas of PU. Me too; when I was a member of EA I loved the content, and it's pretty cool to see a French site make it to the Top 10. It's definitely not softcore though, but my thinking is that their almost total lack of the more American-style of ritual and habitual abuse of female models makes people think it's not truly 'hardcore' in the slap-choke-spit-gape manner.
I agree that it would be great if he combined them, but it's probably not happening anytime soon.  I personally prefer ALS Scan over Angels but I do get very curious when Angels content is mentioned in the blog--total tease and really toys with my emotions (and credit card). I see niche sites as being in their own category. If they do well at them, they get favorable reviews. What it takes to get in the top ten is to have ONLY top scoring reviews. For a more general mainstream site to break into the top ten is more difficult as there is a much bigger market for them. For a site that is large to get consistently high scores is close to a miracle. I liked fuckinggamble, as I joined for just a trial. ALS Scans and MetArt are the only ones I'd agree with. And Exotics is right that Suicide Girls is a strange one considering our aversion to excessive tats. And I'm like Denner; I don't pay much attention to those Top 10 lists. It's not like they're ever going to tell me what my own likes should be, any more than Top 40 radio did. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

A few of them definitely belong on a top ten. I've been a member of Videobox a few times and it definitely has earned a spot in the list -- should be in the top 5. Other than that I agree with PinkPanther's choices. I might throw Explicit Art in there as well. Fucking Gamble does NOT belong in the #1 spot. In all fairness I've never been a member and it may be a fine site but it's too much of an oddball, niche site and hasn't been around long. If you click on the "Top Rated" link you can see the filter PU decided to use. If you change it from 4 reviews to a higher number you do start to see some more realistic results. | |

I've joined videobox and Explicite Art in the past and enjoyed both sites. I can undertstand why they are tops. Sex and Submission is from kink so I also know that it has the potential to be at the top. I've always been curious about Als Scans but that's one of those sites that might appeal to me but could also disapoint. The fact that they bring back older content to satisfy members implies that it had been taken down at some point in the past. I think a site should keep all it's content available. Anything else and you are recycling. I think the reason why Suicide Girls gets such high scores is the fact that you do not join that site unless you want to see heavily tattooed girls. Their niche separates them from almost all other sites on the net and therefore won't get many negative reviews. If you check some sites get lower scores because some of their performers have tattoos or implants. You might get a complain that some of the Suice Girls have implants but no one is going to complain that they have tattoos. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I think you hit on a good point. Many smaller, new or niche sites may luck out and only get a few good reviews. A larger, more established site may be incredibly good but it will be more likely to get those bad and mediocre reviews because so many visit the site. | |

I did a quick check and all of the sites have 9 or more reviews except for Teen Model that has only 4 and Suicide Girls with 5. Videobox has the most with over 100. When you look at it this way then it's hard to argue that a site with 4 reviews should get top billing compared to a site that has twice as many but some of them have a lower score. Reality Kings BangBros Network Twistys Club Sandy Orgy Max Eve Angel Official Viv Thomas Video Explicite Art Teen Models Pacino's Adventures Few notes: Downloaded 600 GB from Reality Kings in the last two weeks with no DL limits to speak of. Downloaded roughly 400 GB from Bang Bros also with no DL limit to speak of. Both of those had been held down by DL limits in the past, fairly strict ones at one time.
