Do you ever wonder if you’ve run out of porn to buy? There’s a joke about reaching the end of the internet but lately I’ve been wondering if something similar exists for porn. Sure, I realize that there are new sites coming online all the time but lately it seems like two things have been conspiring to keep me from joining them. First is that I’ve been a burned a few times with new memberships recently. You know the whole ‘once bitten, twice shy’ saying? That applies. The second is more positive: there are so many sites that I keep in regular rotation that I can stay pretty busy with porn just by signing up to sites I go to regularly. The drawback is that it seems like it’s been months since I posted a site review. Does anyone else have this same dilemma? Maybe a way to cure it is for those of us who have a list of sites we go to over and over to post some or all of that list in the hopes that others might find a new site in your list. I’ll go first. These are most of the sites that I rejoin at least once per year: 18 Only Girls ALS Scan Amateur Allure (annual membership) Babes.com Bang Bros Blacked Burning Angel Casting Couch X Desperate Pleasures Devil’s Film Digital Playground Elegant Angel Erotica X Evil Angel Exploited College Girls Fantasy Massage FTV Girls Hard X Hustler Mega Pass Jules Jordan Mofos Naughty America New Sensations Nubiles Porn Pros Reality Kings Swallow Salon (recurring) Team Skeet Teen Fidelity Throated Tiny 4K Tushy.com Various Kink.com sites in rotation Videobox Wake Up n’ Fuck Woodman Casting X-Art Any thoughts?

I don't necessarily fear that I will run out of new porn so much as I fear the kind that I like will one day stop being produced. It's unlikely but since so many sites keep dying left and right and so few take their place that it's still a possibility. Long live the Brown Coats.

I don't fear running out of porn, but I do have a small preference. That makes it hard to find sites that meet my tastes. My list of regular sites is much smaller then yours. More often then not I am disappointed when I try a new site. I don't see DDF, 21Sexturay or Reality Kings disappearing, so I'm safe there, but I would like to expand beyond them. The only recent site I have found that pleases me is Brazzers. I wish I could find more with Glamour that is hardcore enough for my desires. So written here is my annual go to list with Bazzers just joining this year. Warning Will Robinson

I guess what you and pat362 are speaking to is the fear that our individual tastes (and the groups those tastes will appeal to) will fall enough in the eyes of the porn industry that there simply won't be people catering to it. I certainly feel very specific types of porn can die out or become produced less and less. I started a thread on dead/inactive sites to speak to just that type of situation. It reminds me of that scene in Boogie Knights where Jack Horner is told on New Year's Eve 1980 that videotape is the future of the industry and not film, which he refuses to accept. If you loved porn on film, the 1980s must have been awful for you. With that said, there was still porn being made that appealed to your sensibilities. Listen to Buried At Sea.

^Strangely enough. I think filming on Tape made the porn industry what it is today. Granted filming on tape made the final product significantly inferior to the one filmed on celluloid but cost of production was so much lower that studios could film multiple movies on tape for the price of just one on celluloid. That meant more jobs for performers and all the people behind the scene. In many ways that was the golden age of porn because you still had the master filmmakers of the 70's so access to an amazing talent pool and you now had the ability to mass market their work. The 80's transitioned to the 90's and that was still great news because camera technology kept improving and you had the appearance of DVD to compete with the inferior VHS but not yet overshadow it.
