That's a pretty sweet list! All great movies. I'll add The Babadook to that list, which I recently watched for the first time. That movie scared the crap out of me, lol. Seems most people have mixed feelings about it, but I really enjoyed it. You don't understand. A garage. I can't even pull in there. It's like going to a prostitute. Why should I pay, when if I apply myself, maybe I could get it for free?- George Costanza

I'm planning on watching Babadook over the next few days. I would always just recommend the original Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Then if a person likes them let them watch the remakes of them. I think Rob Zombie did a great job on the Halloween remakes. Texas Chainsaw remakes aren't quite as good, but they bring a more modern visual experience. One that I'll mention that I've rarely heard anyone talk about is Jug Face. Fairly unique story, very twisted story. And while it's not the most horror movie of all-time, it's still spooky. It's even scarier if you live near a mountainous, rural area and have been in contact with some of the backwoods folks of those areas. For us, this movie was shot just about 20 miles from where we live. One that I wouldn't recommend to anyone is Cabin in the Woods. And sadly, it's one of the higher rated horror movies on Amazon. That's how we ended up watching it. It came off as more of a spoof to me. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Never heard of Jug Face before, but I just checked it out on IMDb and it looks pretty wicked. Definitely adding that to the list! But, I have to admit, I kind of liked Cabin in the Woods, haha. Though I completely see what you mean about it coming off as a spoof. You don't understand. A garage. I can't even pull in there. It's like going to a prostitute. I'm a fan of Hammer Horror films from the 1950s to the '70s. Horror of Dracula and Brides of Dracula (without Dracula) are among the favorite. Then there is Halloween 1978, the night HE came home! I saw it in the theater when it first came out and it was quite scary. TCM will air the classics this Friday and on Halloween. "Dogs think people are Gods. I like most of luthien's suggestion. I'll add my voice tomerc77 suggestion of Hammer films. Let's not forget the Friday the 13th series of movies, Nightmare on Elm Street. Long live the Brown Coats.

Rocky Horror Picture Show. Susan Sarandon alone makes it worth watching. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.
