Listen to the voice, the talk... As much as I love fine porn - I still can't get over how some clips seems to reflect the 'state of mind' of some pornstars - the things they say and the way the do it... I do not expect pornstars to be professors or top actors, but some audio/speak ect. of some pornstars turns me OFF... An exampel: just downloaded the latest clip from Danni.com with the(once) beautiful Lela Star (before she covered the entire back with tats) - and it's the first time, that I really hear her speak out for herself - literally. And, wauw - that audio deal is so stupid and so embarrassing, that I wish she'd just not say a word - only moan... Acting is probably not easy - but if you can't do it - just drop it.. I think that she took a wrong turn and got into serious drugs and I think she's still doing them. I saw a fairly recent scene at Brazzer and I didn't even recognize her. The tattoo is bad but the face is so much worse. I agree with Denner some acting/talking is annoying and awful. It even shatters your fantasy if a hot girl opens her mouth and some gruff, accented tones are produced from it. I will say when a porn actress can pull it off, a little sexy build up to the main event with a simple storyline can really make the video clip. | |

It's true that hearing fave porn stars talk in unappealing ways can be a joy-killer. It can be the other way as well. Cassidey is much more a fave of mine since I saw her do a live show at Naughty America - she was worlds more fun than I expected her to be - she came of as rather prissy & boring to me before then. She's neither! On the other hand, besides losing a lot of juicy lbs, Amy Reid slipped further down my faves list when I saw her scene at CanHeScore.com. Maybe they wanted her to make herself seem like a superficial bitch. But that's not a hot role for her, for my tastes. Her scenes at Danni.com when she was their girl-of-the-month and did several live shows, were much cooler & more attractive on a number of levels, including her personality. Other performers, such as Amia Moretti, on the other hand, play the bitch role so over-the-top in their scenes, that I like them even more - her recent scene at Brazzers as the go-fuck-yourself paper-girl is beautiful! | |

Oh, oh agree - there are still - and maybe a growing number of scenes with great audio - but most - that I've seen/watched are solo-videos - for instance a couple made by Jana Cova (at Twistys/Stunners), some at Aziani and even DDF have solo videos now with great audio/dirty talk by the model.. I'm pretty sure the first place I saw Lela Star was at ATK Galleria. She didn't have that back tat, nor did she sport those balloons. She had such sparkle! I feel sorry for her now. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

I guess the quality of ones voice and the ability to use it differentiates her from a purely porn performer to an actual porn actress. Anyone can utter lines of dialogue but few can do it where you believe it. It's not any different in mainstream media. Some actresses couldn't get a part in a high school play while others are able to make you forget that you are watching charather and and not an actress. Long live the Brown Coats. | |
