Euro Sites I was wondering if anyone could help me with the Colmax website. Unfortunately, it is entirely in French, and therefore indecipherable to me. More generally, I am looking for sites that have quality Euro features or scenes without DRM that are downloadable, other than the DDF sites (which are pretty good but seem sometimes to be either too core or too core.) What I can find seems to be either very small, or caters to fairly narrow niches. (I have not tried Pix and Videos yet because it seems to be getting poorer reviews lately.) Any suggestions or help with the Colmax site would be appreciated. Thanks rome476 | |

I'm assuming that you are talking about video-colmax.com. That website is french, but the scenes on there, may not all be in French. I recognized some American actresses. My personal opinion is to stay away from that site since they do not give you any info on the model, scene or anything for that matter. Can you elaborate what you mean by Euro content? Are we talking Euro made movies or scenes taken from European websites? Is the langauge spoke in those movies important? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Well you could use a translator plug-in for the Colmax website I suppose, but I'd recommend instead signing up with a site that offers English language support. Try Explicite Art - they too are French - it is the site for famous French pornographer John B. Root. The site is well designed though a bit confusing at first glance. It is maintained well and is available in 5 languages. The quality of the content varies, but anything new is pretty much HD. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" There are quite a few decent french sites - but as this TBP/PU is an english-orientated place, there may be problems. Anyway - the Drooler has som good hints about french sites, like www.topmiss.com for instance. It looks good - but this user (even if european based) never dared to join of one reason: Could not find the way to cancel rebill (it's also in french). Thank you for your replies. Pat's assumption about the Colmax website is correct. I would be interested in either type of site, but I was mostly looking for a site with Euro movies with downloadable scenes, similar to what Videobox etc. offers. I can't find anything that has movies from such Euro studios as Goldlight, Pinko, Colmax, Marc Dorcel, Salerni etc. Thanks rome476 | |

Topmiss is a weird scene. For one thing, they haven't had an update since mid-June, and that was apparently a skimpy 20 pics from what I know is a much larger photoset of Mia Stone riding up on a bike and enticing the viewer to a lovely back-door ride flat on a blanket. (Love that girl!) And I gave up months ago trying to sign up for the thing. Used to be I tried and then I'd get this bilingual message (French and English) from a "Caroline" who would try to help me think of ways to solve the signup problem. I think that Caroline has since departed. Anyway, it's too bad that some sites are only in a language whose world status is less than that of English. I might get attacked for saying that, but the way I see it, why not have translated pages in English, too? If the site changes then that's obviously a problem somewhere down the road, but wouldn't they make more with more subscribers anyway? Even with the dollar-Euro problem we've discussed to death in another thread? There doesn't have to be a ton of elaborate text, anyway. It's just number of vids, number of pics, dimensions and formats, frequency of updates (toujours, s'il vous plait), dates (guess which month "Juin" is?), and a "join" button to take you to CCbill. I mean, everybody in Europe studies at least some English, don't they? (It's not like mostly monolingual USA.) And they wouldn't be able to handle just a little bit of simple text for a nice porn website after all of those hours of English class? I do not know any websites similar to Videobox that allow you to download these studios movies, without paying a high price for them. You can stream many of the above studios movies on either hotmovies.com, aebn and a couple of others. Some are even in their original language ie:(not dubbed. Be aware that if you got the route of streaming then some European movies have got American distributors and the movie will be found under that studio and not the makers. Thanks again for the replies and suggestions. I did look at hotmovies.com which was interesting but as described by Pat not the type of site I am looking for. I guess the bottom line is there just aren't any sites like Videobox for Euro features or Euro DVDs. I wonder to some extent about the business reasons that allow a multitude of such American sites, but the lack of any for Euro studios. There may be an opportunity for somebody. rome476 | |

A Videobox style website for Euro movies would be quite amazing. One of the reasons why Videobox works and why it won't for Euro movies is that Videobox is an all American content website. We use the term Euro to describe porn made overseas, but in fact the studios you are looking for are based out of many countries, each with their own specific laws and why nots. Good luck trying to get their content on a single website. P.S: Please let me know, If you do to find a website with downloadable Euro movies. I'd sign up in a heartbeat. I have seen several websites where the level of English makes me wonder. They might be better off if the sites were translated by some service instead of the gibberish that they put out. Sorry to sound like I think English is easy, I know that it is not. | |

yes, videobox has tons of video episodes filmed in Europe using models from there. Search under "euro" or browse under Elegant Angel studios. | |

Hi Lawless. Do you know if you can join Dorcel and be able to download the movies or do you have to pay for each one? I believe Rome476 is looking for a site that allows the user to download movies like Videobox does. I do agree with your opinion of Dorcel, but I wish they would offer is earlier stuff like the ones from the 80's. He did some amazing movies back then. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Thanks for all of your comments. There are some euro features on DVDBox and AdultRental, although most are from lower quality studios. Videobox has some good Private features, (most of which I already have on DVD) and a few others, as well as some features that were released in the US under different names and studios. I looked at that some of the PPV sites, and used the free 30 minutes offered through TBP to watch a great scene from Parisan Girls issued by the Blue One studio. (The sites are useful for sampling material that I have never seen.) It is frustrating that a movie like that it is essentially unavailable in the US, except by probably paying $40-$50 to import it in on DVD, or maybe to download for $20-$30. I check the thread every day or two, so if anyone has any more suggestions I would enjoy hearing them. Thanks again. rome476 | |
