Executive Order For Homeland

Executive Order For Homeland,

Earlier this year:
EXECUTIVE ORDER

- - - - - - -

ASSIGNMENT OF NATIONAL SECURITY AND
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COMMUNICATIONS FUNCTIONS

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(c) have access to all appropriate information related to the test, exercise, evaluation, and readiness of the capabilities of all existing and planned NS/EP communications systems, networks, and facilities to meet all executive branch NS/EP requirements.

Based on the above order above and new addiction to this order was heard in the radio today to propose homeland security to monitor to and to investigate possible threats on the internet, by passing due process or warrants.

I know we are all law abiding PUers, but we all have one thing in common and that is the internet. According to the news. They could is so many words pop in to your ISP and view your email if you are suspected of a activity this is not just of a threat to the USA, but a possible threat.
Some porn users like their anonymity and some do not. I found it disturbing that any thing I do or anywhere I go could be viewed by a third party. For me it is not that I am up to something it is that I should eb allowed privacy in my home. Just wondered what others thought? maybe I am over reacting but I have always liked the wild frontier that was the WORLD WIDE WEB. I feel like a western coming to the end. Timmy we can not ride our horses anymore cause therea buildin a freeways here.

Interesting - I hadn't heard about this.

I really wish the whole Homeland Security agency would be abolished. In fact, I'd rather the whole "homeland" terminology be abolished - it makes America sound a bit like Nazi-Germany and their frequent usage of the term "fatherland" ("Vaterland"). As much as I am an Obama supporter (a big shock, I know), I have been disappointed with some of his militaristic behavior (like those non-discriminating drones) and his comfort with Homeland Security. I am not being paranoid, but there is a lot of monitoring of information going on out there, both covert & overt.
It is part of the nature of the internet.
That won't go away, so you just have to find a compromise of internet usage that you are comfortable with.

We keep a small arsenal here and at the Ranch, and I have not been real pleased with the tightening of laws that do not make a difference. Like Capn sure I believe that some monitoring needs to be done or we end up with nuts jobs with AK's in Theatures. But I have never been a big fan of being told what to do when it comes to my rights.
Oh well it is what it is. Since 2007

Cap'n.

I don't like it one bit that the Government should have the power to trace every step I take on the WWW but at the same time I don't worry too much about it. I just make sure a site has that 2257 label (not quite sure if that's the right code for monitoring the legality of a model's age) on its front page so that I don't end up with anything illegal. As to other nefarious activities .. too old and lazy and cynical to get caught up in a cause.

You know that 2257 only applies to US sites, don't you? Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

No, I didn't know that, Ed. I recall (maybe wrongly) having seen 2257 on the bottom of quite a few European sites. Does that mean it's just a formality for them and that they don't stick to it? Or are they American sites being run from Europe?

BTW, still not too worried because mature women are my major weakness. And I always silently roar with laughter when a site like "Lusty Grandmas" proudly proclaims that their site contains no models under eighteen.
