Who will be the first real celebrity to cross over into mainstream porn? Not dumb reality stars like the teen mom, who intentionally tried to get preggo with James Deen so she could extort him, and not celebrities who "accidentally" have their home sex tape stolen like Tommy Lee and Pam, and not that douchebag UFC guy who did about 3 movies and nobody knew him anyway, a real celebrity who for some reason loses their mind and decides to cross over into porn, and makes it a permanent career choice. Who do you think would actually have the gaul to do it? Right now I'm thinking Miley Cyrus. That wrecking ball video is as close to porn as MTV and Youtube would allow to be broadcasted. before I answer you question. I'd like to welcome you to the forum. I hope that you will keep on posting because I enjoy your comments. Now back to your interesting question. I don't expect any celebrity above the "D" list to ever do a porn movie. Let me rephrase that and add willingly. A sex tape may one day make it in the hands of a porn producer and for whatever reason the celebrity may be forced to sign her rights to it but that is a far different thing than actually be a willing participant. For now the best you can hope for are "D" list or lower celebrities. My money is on Courtney Stodden. She has certainly altered her looks to resemble a porn performer so why not make the plunge? Actually rumors are that she has already shot some movies and is only waiting before releasing them. Seeing what she looed like a couple of years to what she looks like now is more sad than anything else. The truth is that doing porn for any celebrity is just not a good money making endeavour. If a celebrity and that includes "D" and lower is looking to make money than going to private escort route is far more lucrative than what a porn video would bring. Of course I'd be thrilled if one chose to do porn and even more so if she did one as impressive as the one Farrah did. There's something to be said when it's professionally shot. P.S: The only celebrity that might make a porn tape just for kicks is Miley but I think her family and manager would get involved and buy the print before it got released so no one would ever see it. It's kind of sad to see what's happening to her because she could do so many great things but she seems hell bent on pissing off her parents. In many ways she reminds me of Amanda Bynes. I'm not so sure Miley and Amanda are in the same boat. Amanda has clearly lost her mind, whereas Miley seems to be doing everything she's doing intentionally to promote her new sexed up image, and she seems to have at least the support of her one hit wonder dad, who probably needs the money by now. I compare Billy Ray to Chris Tucker, waiting in vain for the Rush Hour 9 script to be ready. 10 years ago I would have wholeheartedly agreed with your assessment that no celebrity would ever make such a drastic move, but with all those antidepressants in the drinking water, I think it's just a matter of time before somebody goes off the rails. ^See I think that Miley is a lot closer to Amanda's state of mind than you think. I mean both were child actors, both have way too much money, both have had a hard time transitioning from child actor to just actor, both have been fawned over for years, both are well known heavy drug users and frankly being a celebrity with money who lies to indulge in drugs and alcohol is never ever a good mix. The number of dead celebrities due to drugs and alcohol is too staggering to overlook. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Can't imagine any real celebrity ever crossing over. Porn is still practically akin to a serious crime in Hollywood (and OJ Simpson has had more mainstream coverage than any porn star). Yes, porn stars are "allowed" in mainstream films but with small, independent roles or essentially as themselves, such as the Sasha Grey in that douchey TV show Entourage. Don't expect big budget success or much respect, beyond the rubbernecking effect of including a porn star in the cast. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I don't foresee any mainstreamer going porn any time soon. Certainly no A or B level star would do it because they would be giving up way too much money and lose whatever brand they have. Hell, Hustler is always offering million dollar + payouts to less than top talent (aka "Octomom" and the like) and they never get takers. Miley is doing what she's doing because it generates publicity and publicity makes you money and serves a crutch for people who don't know anything else / better. The only time you'd see someone do this today is because their career is washed up, they're broke, mentally messed up, and lost any kind of a support network ... not something I'd be interested in seeing when the media already offers up a smorgasbord celebrity train wrecks. | |

^Actually Miley may very well be shooting herself in the foot with all her current publicity because 86% of all the money she made last year was from the royalties she gets from her Hanna Montana days. I don't know how much money she lives on but I don't think she can live with only 15%. I don't remember where I read the article but her album is not doing well, her tv career is non-existent and her big screen acting career has stalled. Who am I kidding.
