The Good Thing About Modern Porn... The good thing about modern porn is that - no matter the body type you like, you can find really successful performers who have vids where they are lavished with attention. Holly Hendrix is an example. She's a tiny little thing with mosquito bite titties. In the 70's and early 80's, at least, she would have been relegated to 2nd tier status. I remember the few tiny babes with similar body types that would pop up for short periods of time as secondary talent in group scenes. They would be my favorite babes in the entire flick and they wouldn't even be named in the credits. If pre-boob job Bunny Bleu had as many scenes of her with long tease sequences as Holly does, I'd be in heaven. She had a few starring scenes, but not many. I'm certainly glad to see Holly getting the props that she deserves. | |

I hadn't thought about this before but you're right. When I consider the porn I saw from the 70s and 80s the predominant body type was full-figured and large-breasted. I distinctly remember a point in the 90s when petite models started getting centre stage and finally feeling a connection to porn that I didn't really have before. Tammi Ann was and remains a favourite. These days guys like us can download tons of porn with models whose body type is to our liking and we can also know that our friends who like full-figured models are doing the same. These are great days to be porn collectors. | |

I have to disagree with you guys about petite women being relegated to 2nd tier roles in the 70's and 80's because I can think of two without any trouble. Merle Michaels and Arcadia Lake. These women had amazing porn careers and they had similar body type to Holly. Now granted the total number of movies they appeared in is significantly lower than what Holly has appeared in but I think you'll both agree that it wasn't until the 90's that more and more studios started to release multiple titles each month and this trend continued into the early 2000 but you now had many internet only studios releasing content on a weekly basis. We can never know what kind of career the performers of the past could have if they were active today but I think the two I named would be as popular as Holly if not more. The good thing I find about porn today is that you can still find some of those older movies online as well as the newer stuff so that it is literarily impossible not to find something that you enjoy. I agree that it's better because a variety of body types is more accepted than it used to be, but I think it would be better still once small tits gain enough acceptance that the girls don't feel any inclination towards getting implants. Of course, that might not ever happen. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

^Although I agree that if less people were critical of the size of women's breasts then more of them would be happy with what they got but I don't know if this would really affect the decision of many porn performers because (let me first put on my psychiatrist hat on) I think many of them have self-esteem issues that make them try to fix was is on the outside when they should be doing is looking to fix what is on the inside. Just look at the number of truly beautiful porn performers that have gotten significant facial reconstruction over the years to see that it can`t be just the size of their breasts that bothers them. Case in point Lana Rhoades who wrote that she is considering getting implants sometime in the not too distant future. We are talking about a barely 20 years old woman with B cup breasts considering implants. She mentioned waiting until she quits porn but still to even be considering it means that she currently isn`t happy with her body. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Yeah, the body dissatisfaction is a real problem. August Ames getting her lips done was crazy, for example. Amia Miley getting butt implants as well as increasing her breast implants. In both cases, to be honest, I'm still hot for them, but neither one needed any work done to be smoking hot. That's a much larger problem than just the world of porn. Look at the entire country of Brazil, where plastic surgery among women is a national past-time, but it's certainly magnified in the world of porn. | |

I personally prefer the body figures of the 70s and 80s, I find people back then looked more natural and a lot of the models I see these days all look the same and everything is photo shopped to looked pristine. That's why I prefer amateur porn because you see real people and not over-embellished specimens. | |
