Wow, I lose my power for the day (not snow related) and PU goes to hell in a hand basket--this whole Interweb technology moves too fast for me! The problem is that most of us have a hard time believing that these people are paying 30$ a month to access what is still a very small site withouth thinking colusion instead of friendship. A true friend should be the first person that you can hope will be honest with you. I had issues with the high score because it did not equal to what was written. I noticed that more info was added to one of the review and I was glad for it, but what followed in the forum has left a biter taste in mouth. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I had a hard time believing all myself, too. Two fantastically-scored reviews a day apart and then one about 20 days later, at a lower 90. It's not hard to work up a decent long con, with enough of the right kind of participation (e.g., other reviews, etc.) to develop credibility. Of course, I have no proof of any collusion, so I can't make any accusations, and I'm not making any. But I don't need proof to have suspicions, and my suspicions will suffice. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

I also had a hard time believing that 3 reviews within a short amount of time all had high scores and very little to show for them except to describe Miss Hybrid. This was their first review and it's understandable that they didn't know how to do one properlly. I notice that the reviews were altered to include more relevent information to help justify the score and frankly I could have lived with that but then the name calling started and that I don't accept. Maybe I've been spoiled because this was the first forum I joined but except for very rare exception. This has been a forum of respect. We may not agree with each other but we deal with each other has adults and leave the name calling for the schoolyard. We'll never know one way or the other whether this was a ploy to get traffic or people that were too passionate about Miss Hybrid to realise that they crossed a line with their attitude.
