need feedback i need honest opinions on the tour pages of Sandra Syn's website: www.PlayToyPrincess.net This is the only site I have ever done, and have no previous experience in this industry. Hey BM. I browsed around everything I was allowed to see without signing up for the site. At the entry point I would put the name of the site and model closer to the top of the page. When I first entered the page I was like, "Cool, a timer for the next show -- but what is the next show?" Then I saw the name of the model towards the center of the page. On the preview page Firefox couldn't find the plug-in for whatever you have there in the center of the page. Hope this helps. | |

Just a few quick things, which are common and tend to give me doubts: Pic samples on the first page look like clickable thumbs but aren't, hence I don't know the size of the pics nor do I have any way to judge their physical quality. The phrase "many many pages" of photos clues me in that there probably really aren't that many, compared to top-end sites anyway. Even if there are, I will assume there aren't. The "see more" link just keeps taking me to the second page, where there is nothing much to see. Also noted that there was a pop-up blocked. Nice to see vid samples offered. Wouldn't join based on welcome page alone. edited to add: Ticket club is a bit of a hassle to use. edited again: Should mention: the girl is beautiful! - The Enter button looks more like a link into the Members section. I would change it into Tour or Preview. - There's a bit blurring text below the title "Playtoy Princes". It's very hard to read that. - The & sign (between Pics & Vids) looks like a dollar $ sign. - The first bit of text on the first preview page is a bit hard to read with the shadow behind it. But I admit I'm nitpicking. I own a website as well (non-adult) and tend to look at the details since I'm a perfectionist. And Winky is right; She is pretty. Let me start by saying you have a lot to work with. The models that I see in the preview are all very pretty and classy looking. Goldfish asked about the middle of the first page, it is an Active X required video. My first suggestion to the new webmaster is to remove that. People these days aren't going to trust most porn sites enough to open their computer up by letting the site run Active X. The next step would be to either give a few full sized samples of the pictures in the tour or give us a list of what is inside the member's area. It looks like there are some "friends" besides the main model, so make sure to note that it isn't just one girl. I'm going to give you a link to a site that several of us longtime members here at PU helped change their look and tour pages and you can use that as a guide. But first, I really like this model and clicked join to consider joining. I have never heard of the pay partner you all are using, and even worse, it doesn't tell me how much it will cost without registering. Look into these billing companies, ccbill, paycom/epoch and VXS Billing. Trust me, as a person who has been a member on over 150 sites, those billing companies can make or break a site. For example, I lost interest in joining as soon as I seen this billing company that I hadn't heard of. I recommend ccbill the most, but the other two I listed would be okay as well, if they are cheaper for the site to use. It will save you and your customers a lot of hassle and worry. The next part is me just telling you something that you might not know since you are new to porn site webmastering. The fine folks who run pornusers.com, thebestporn.com have a section of sites that offer special discounts. See the link for the 1100+ sites that offer special discounts through thebestporn for its members. https://www.thebestporn.com/special_discounts.html The reason I mention this is because the site you are working on looks to be a solo model site with a few friends added in. The price I see on thebestporn is $29.95 per month. I can tell you from my experience that you probably won't get a ton of new customers to a solo site with that price. A few examples. Eve Angel, over 500 videos and over 500 picture sets, most of the Eve content is exclusive, it is discounted at $14.95 per month for the first month, it recurs to $24.95 per month after the first month. Mya Diamond, similar amount of content as Eve and same discount. Those are generally considered two of the top 5 solo model sites on the internet. Sites that cost $29.95 to join are usually 1000+ models super sites that have 1,000s of videos and picture sets. I'm not telling you to do the discount deal with TBP, but I do believe that if you look at the sites that offer those discounts, you will see that most of them are in the top 10 sites on the internet. It gets your site a place in the discounted category, that many of us check everyday. Okay, onto the site itself. There are a few things that we potential customers love to know before joining a site. #1 Are the picture sets in zip files for easy download? #2 What is the resolution of the pictures? #3 What is the resolution of the movies? #4 What is the format of the movies, WMV, QT, DIVX? #5 How many picture sets are there, and how many videos are there? Ok, if you tell us those things in the preview, even if the numbers are low, we are still more likely to join the site. It shows that you're running an honest site. For that matter, maybe even consider letting the trial show each of the movies, of course, not watchable in the trial, but just a picture from each video and a picture from each picture set. As far as the look of the site. Some of us helped another site change their look, you can see it at xisty.com. You have some really classy, pretty girls on this site that you are working on. Think about if hot pink really is an attractive color. I will tell you why I mention this. I have vision problems, and the bright pink hurts my eyes. I'm sure I'm not the only one, since most of my vision problem comes from staring at a computer screen. You can even see in our forum here that we have that light brown color, green, colors that are warm and not bright. Maybe just consider changing the main colors to give off a more classy look. Last, check www.xisty.com out, look at the bottom of the main page, see the little icons that tell what all the site offers? Those are a nice and easy way to make a customer more interested in the site. Just by looking at those icons, I can see that they have hi-res photos, video downloads, zip files, daily updates, no DL limits etc.. And I would think those are very basic to program in. A general rule is to keep the tour as simple as possible, and as informative as possible. If you don't, the first member who joins it and decides to come here and write a review will tell what is inside anyway. At least if you all tell upfront, the decision to join will be based more on the quality of the content and the looks of the model. I will say that with that model and her friends that you all shouldn't have trouble getting new customers. I am going to consider joining it after seeing her. Hope that helps. 1. I like the counter at the top. It intrigued me. 2. I think the enter/leave/members buttons should be unique so that the enter doesn't look exactly like the members or leave. 3. The upsell next to the counter at the top is distracting. Will take away from your own site I think. 4. I am torn on the main page with the audio grunts and such. I usually surf alone but some people sneak it in and if they accidently had their speakers one with others floating around it could be a bit embarrasing. 5. The active X on the 2nd page preview_tour would have me shutting down. I just don't like seeing active x, especially on a porn site. For me personally, thats as far as I would get. 6. The text/script of your main graphic is very hard to read so its almost a waste of space there and it takes up almost the whole visual. 7. You have all those thumbnails of the images, it would be nice to have at least some if not all of those open up into a preview of the image. even if the watermark or something would be bigger to protect your content. I like to see a good preview/sample of the content I am getting. 8. On your 2nd preview page I like the text you had under the images. That got my attention to read. The see more link on this page just links to the same page so I would get rid of it or link it to the join page at least. She is very hot and I think if you showed a little more preview of the full pics or video she would do well. The tour is simple but thats ok as an amateur site but I would be carefull with your script/text as a few spots it blends to much and very hard to read. Hope that helps from my take. | |

A few things: The look of the first page is amateurish, but in an appealing way. I like the counter. When I click through to "See More", though, alarms go off in my head when I see no dated updates. For me, no dated updates mean - "dead site - don't join no matter what else you hear". If I were just trolling the net on my own, that would be the end of my interest in the site. However, since I'm checking out the tour pages at your request, to give feedback, I click "See More" some more and see a bunch of photos kind of randomly scattered across the page - not in a way that arouses my interest. At a certain point, there's a vid that doesn't play but says, "Click Here" so I click there and I get this Tickets Club thing which is about as appealing as a club to get parking tickets more often so I click the back space a couple of times to see if I can see more of the site to give feedback on - if I were on my own, running into that Tickets Club thing would be the absolute end of my review of the site. But even reviewing the site at your request, when I can't get back out of Tickets Club by clicking backspace, well I really haven't seen anything that would tell me that this is a live site rather than ripoff trap and I haven't found out what the site costs or seen any evidence that it updates, so I think that's what you really need to work on. If this is a live site, you need to have free pages that prove it very quickly to people that happen onto it or nobody but the most adventurous, most foolhardy or those with lots of disposable cash are going to pay for this site. That's my opinion anyway. | |
