Which site are handling COVID well? It seems to me most of the big producers are shut down due to COVID. Obviously most amateur sites are able to continue - but most big producers are shut down. My question is: Who's innovating in this space? Do you see anyone doing it well? Here's what I see with the sites pro sites I'm a member of I see on kink.com they're putting up remastered content (like most places) in addition to that they seem to be acquiring more content swaps. What's most interesting to me is the innovation they've got kinkbits going which is models shooting themselves, some are JOI others are couples that shoot from quarantine. I see https://mindcontroltheatre.com is also doing a good job of writing intersesting scripts that can be done with just the model's smartphone. Dogfart seems rather disappointing. Their update schedule has slipped and they haven't made clear announcements about what they're doing Finishsthejob is somehow still dropping some updates and seems to be mostly focused on remasting older content. Billy the owner/operator has been very responsive to customer questions and I think doing a great job. Zishy.com: still updating and ran a cool ameature contest. | |

I only have a membership to MetArt at the moment and they're still pumping out 4 new updates per day 7 days a week. | |

I've indeed seen the "re-hashed" or "remastered" content happen on many sites. Though I don't always consider it a problem. It's understandable that the entire industry is currently on a halt. If I like the site, I still choose to support them. Dogfart has continued to update many of their sites in this period. Both AfricanCasting and AfricanLesbians have continued their normal update schedule. Many of the solo sites or sites run by amateur couples seem to be doing business as usual too. | |

Thanks for pointing out AfrianCasting and AfricanLesbians. I've seen plenty of amateur sites and models with onlyfans.com keep up with their production. I know many of those places are small business and may have less in funding in reserve as people cancel their porn memberships in uncertain times. I really hope they make it through. Most of my favorite porn is amateur made. I really worry about them. | |

Hey Marc, Apologies - I know you're specifically asking for sites that seem to be innovating well during the current situation....but thought this might be a good thread to warn others of sites to avoid right now too? In which case, I recently signed up for NetVideoGirls. Still an excellent site to join if you've not been a member there in the past, but they are another site that are suffering with being unable to provide new content at the moment, last update coming on 12th May, so not worth the join right now if you're hoping for new stuff from them. | |

Every single site has been negatively affected by the world pandemic which was to be expected but I have noticed a trend that makes me a little nervous. A decent amount of sites stopped updating with new content early in the lockdown as opposed to slow their update schedule which makes me think they didn't have all that much content already filmed which in turn makes me think that they were already in a less than ideal financial situation. Hookup Hotshot is a good example because their last actual new scene was on March 30 and since then it's only been BTS content. Even if the industry starts to shoot tomorrow. How long before they have enough content to have a weekly update uninterrupted? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

It's the same for me. I always prefer amateur porn over porn shot in professional studios. Who knows what this situation will do to them though. They have less funds, but on the other hand I imagine that amateur porn is easier to shoot (or buy) these days. I think a lot of it depends on us as consumers. When people stop paying for porn, these sites may be the first to go out of business. There's always amateur porn on sites like Chaturbate of course. But there it gets too expensive for me. | |

I have 3 active subscriptions right now... AdultTime has handled it well. I subscribed via GirlsWay. They've had a lot of content pre-shot and waiting for release. They've obviously slowed their release schedule to try and make it through the the pandemic, which I do not fault them for. As a network aggregator, they've been able to pull content from their channel partners, sites which I do not have subscriptions to. So there's value added there. Their partnered content is obviously curated, older stuff. But again, I do not fault them for this since they're still giving new-to-me content. They've also started innovating with remote shoots, where the performers either stream or record from home and then they edit things together (think of it as scripted porn over a Zoom/Skype interface). I've seen them also post a few compilations. Where they splice together choice clips from previously released scenes. Given the breadth of their catalog (about 60k videos) this has allowed me to find good stuff that I hadn't previously watched. GirlfriendsFilms hasn't really missed a beat. Their main update model has been to release a newly filmed scene at regular intervals while filling in daily updates with remastered stuff from their back catalog. I still see daily updates from them, though they seem to have leaned on their back catalog a little heavier of late. I knew this was their update methodology going in, so I don't really fault them for that either. Plus, they've been shooting for 2 decades and even their older stuff is still mostly new to me. Both examples above are working well thru COVID. Sapphix isn't doing so well, however. They were updating at their regular schedule with SapphicErotica up through the beginning of March. Then they went a couple weeks before posting a new video on 3/18 and not again until 4/2. There were two more videos posted on 4/12 and 4/17, but then they removed them (my guess is to repost them later and pass them as net-new). Luckily, I had spotted and downloaded them before they were pulled. Most of what they had posted in March were fills from GiveMePink. Then I noticed recycled clips from GMP were getting posted. Finally, on 5/2, SE reposted an older video with a new date. 5/7 saw an SE post of a video that I believe to have been recently shot. Then there was a recycled GMP video, a recycled interview video (which then got taken down), a recycled SE video, another recycled interview video, and recently a recycled SE video. So it seems that they still don't know what to do to weather this storm as stuff gets posted and then removed among all the scene recycling. | |
