The Joy of "Paint" There has always been a dichotomy among PU's between vid guys and photo guys. Some of us find images in motion more erotic. Some of us (including myself) find still images more erotic. I've found that making my own stills from vids using "Paint" is a whole lot of fun and makes it a blast to go back to my favorite vids to capture the images that really do it for me. Am I unique in this activity or do other pic-fans among PU's do this also? Just wondering. | |

I do the same. With the more HD video you get better quality snapshots. I also like to create a story with photos, so that requires putting descriptions or dialog in the photo to carry the story. Just remember to give your new creation a new file name so you don't ruin the original image. Warning Will Robinson | |

It isn't easy. The constant motion of hard sex makes for a blurry snap. You have to be patient and wait for the actors to pause to get a good picture. It also helps to slow down the video so you can catch those moments. But I have some good sets of snaps in my collection. Warning Will Robinson | |

I really have no problem getting great images and it's no work at all, Wittyguy - pause, shift-prt screen, paste in Paint, save as and you have a great erotic image tailored to your particular tastes. | |

Hey PinkPanther; I'd strongly urge you to try better image manipulation software. No need for photoshop or anything, but if you just took a single step above MS Paint, you'll see a huge improvement in the quality and/or filesize of the images you create with this method. My recommendation would be paint.NET. It's free, not overly complicated, doesn't come with ads or other nonsense, and can save your screenshots in a variety of filetypes at customisable qualities (I'd recommend PNG). FWIW, VLC media player has an option to take a screen shot and save it to disk. Shift+S on windows and it's saved at My Pictures Might be useful if you just save the picture as is. | |

I was going to suggest the VLC thing myself. As far as getting just the right shot with no blurriness, there's an option in there somewhere to advance a video frame by frame. I forget if it's turned on by default or if you have to add it in the Preferences, but it *is* there. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

Yo, Panther ..... great thread. I love my Paint software.....Came with the purchase of my Dell desktop, which is now around ten years old.. Like you, I have a lot of fun with it. I use Paint some for screen captures though for video's I've downloaded I use Corel Video Studio (CVS) to not only edit vids for the content I want but in the course of editing I will use the screen capture feature of the CVS to provide transitions between clips. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee. If you're going to lay her head over the pool table and fuck her throat, get your fucking hand off her throat! | |
