Reediting TBP-score There has been some serious diffenrences between scores made by our host, TBP and scores at PU. It'll probably always be like that - like differences in PU-scores. But I think it could be great if TBP once in a while did some revaluation - NOT for all review, by all means - but maybe Top 50 or something like that. (other ideas are welcome) Examples: Matt's Models and Adult Movie Max (see comments and PU-reviews) How can Matt's still have over 90 and Adult Movie Max 82,6? Hey Denner! Yeah I do agree that a lot of reviews are way out of date and there will always be sites where the scores don't match up. I even disagree with our reviewers sometimes. Later this year, TBP reviews will change dramatically! I can't give too many details yet, but let's just say the diff review formats (express, official, follow-up) will be out the door. A single review format, and NEW reviews for the top 100 sites every 4-6 months. My biggest issue with our reviews is most are way out of date, the express reviews explain little, follow-up reviews are weak/confusing, and it takes too long to go live with a review (from the date requested). As much as I love TBP, its primary use for me is the site facts that it lists. What you stated right there is exactly the problem I've run into. The express reviews generally might as well be just a number - while I do love the full length reviews, as skimming all four articles gives me a pretty good sense of what I'm getting myself into if I join, sometimes they are just so old that the site doesn't much resemble what was reviewed. I think it would be a good idea to start over, at least with the major sites, because those sites do evolve (or devolve) over time and are essentially different from a few years ago. And other sites rise to a new level, meaning scores could probably be adjusted overall. | |
