Ayatollah Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: lunatics running the asylum This is what you get with an entrenched, religiously powered, self-anointed couple of extremists-nutso Authoritarians whose thumb is pressed tightly on the naivete and rights of its people. So, graymane, what's this got to do with porn? Well, I donno! Depends on how you view the following: With an ongoing power-struggle between these two sickos trying to out-do one another -- having already activated goon-squads with the usual oppressively enforced penalities for the poor guy who gets caught possessing images of necked ladies, they've now gone a step further and put more muscle in their gestapo tactics by also confiscating satellite dishs from those few who possess them. This, they tell us, is their way to curb Westernization from demonizing the souls of Iranians. Further..... (are you ready for this?) Mr Ahmadinejad now says that the infidel European countries are using special equipment to force clouds to 'dump' Iran's water on their own continent...thus creating Iranian droughts to enrich themselves. "they prevent rain clouds from reaching regional countries", he says. Not to be out-done.....he includes (us) the US, with being in collusion with our European allies, who're on a secret mission to plant distruction and introduce lurid behavior within their way of life.. You're a racist! Okay, you're not really, but that's the usual knee jerk reaction to anyone who dares to criticise. I think of them as backward - by about 1000 years. I don't trust those people or want them in my country. Guess that makes me a racist or religionist. We've been through all that plunging the hands into boiling water and if god heals the hands you're innocent sort of thing in the 11th century over here. I have always considered religion to be the result of fear and/or ignorance. That makes me politically incorrect. Yeah, I can live with that. | |

Neither graymane or TheSquirrel are racists ..or whatever. This has nothing to do with racism - but difference in culture. And of course we cannot allow medieval propaganda or threats to ruin our way of life - a way of life Europeans, Americans, Canadian, Australians ect. has fought for for centuries.... I watched a documentary this weekend "The Third Jihad" (available from NetFlix) that was saying the radicals want to see all of Europe and the US governed by Muslim law like Iran. Haha ... of course, I think that's close to the stated mission of the Evangelical Christians. One thing for sure, they all hate porn. At least officially. I'm not so sure that all the people claiming that porn is bad don't simply use that as a type of political tool all the whilw watching it on the side. How many US Senators/Congressmen who were staunch anti-gay are in fact gay themselves? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Yeah! That notable is well known....It also was one of the late Jerry Falwell's loudest outcry in his sermons. His "later-than-you-think" exhortations on this subject are legendary. Muslim faith, in general, is a peaceful belief whose moral standards are in some form consistant with others. Although committed to expanding their beliefs, they don't go out and kill people to achieive that goal. Its those who take it to an absurd level, and exercise forceable methods through violence who bring it down. Although That dangerous, over-zealous, misguided element of extremism fortunately will likely never be strong enough to gain a global girth of power ......it stands that the vindictive rage is so overwhelmingly against European and Western interference and predominance ... that they seemingly feel justified to inexorably chip away at our resources, on a level equal to war-loses. ie., 9-11, sabotage, kidnappings, bombings, torture, illegal contraband,.. or whatever else insidiously destructive means they can levy against us. BTW: Right now in little, ol' Denmark we follow the Chicago-trial with people like David Headley and Tawahhur Rana - close. I went lite this time on Islamization, because having earlier unload a scathing arsenal against it (responding to the stoning of a young woman) I got a resulting unexpected volley of opposing flak. Your contribution here, however, has put my thinking in restore-mode. CBN? Never watch it. Or just women in general, particularly free and uninhibited women. Of course all Muslim women who wear religious clothing are doing so by "choice" so it's not repressive. That sounds like cloud seeding. Supposedly China used it to clear up the skies for the 2008 Summer Olympics, though I don't think you could use it to "prevent rain clouds from reaching regional countries".
