Off Topics: The richest man in the world Don't you just like those extremely rich assholes who tell us all how to run things - to get it all better... Like this apparently the NOW richest guy by the name: Carlos Slim of Mexico.. Does the envy here strike out?? - no, but seriously: This guy seems to have all the answers to how we in the western world should behave, do with our money ect. (according to CNN) THIS comes from a character living and earning his fortune in Mexico - a place where the people apparently are suffering so much that they risk their lives trying to flee to the US - for a better life, for a better economical security, ect... An older guy like this user just got to ask this: What's the world coming to??? Or maybe, I got it all wrong... I think the moment you start down the path to becoming a super rich individual then you can never stop yourself from accumulating wealth. Money becomes your religion and greed is your God. It's inconceavable for most of us the need to have another billion in the bank when you already have at least one. You would think that once you have so much money that your great great grandchildren will never have to worry about money that you would look for places to give it, or you would gladly teel the world to write you on your needs because you want to give some of it away, or you could get people to travel the world looking for people in need of expensive medical treatment that they can't afford, or you could buy the mortgage of families in dire trouble and give them the house for free, and so on. The US and most of the world are still suffering in the worst recession in the history of civilisation and have you seen a single filthy rich person come out and say that they are willing to give the bulk of their money to help us live though it? Warren Buffet is now considered a philantropist because he has donated a portion of his huge wealth but we are talking about one of the man resposnible for the mess we are currently facing. No offense but in my book the guy is douchebag who made his money on the backs of poor people. Long live the Brown Coats. | |
