I was sort of looking forward to the remake and I liked the idea of going with an all female cast. I also liked their choice of actresses but now that I've seen this trailer than I'm sort of getting ambivalent. I can't help but feel that the producers went the extreme CGI route instead of having an interesting story. When will Hollywood finally realise that all flash and no substance is not going to work. Mind you I just read something about how Gods of Egypt got made and it all makes sense and saddens me to think that it's people like that that get to choose what we see on TV and in cinema. Long live the Brown Coats. | |
