Pretty shocking to read this. I like the wording that they were shooting an "unscripted" porn scene. That somehow implies that they got naked and started to have sex with no prior discussion on what kind of scene it was supposed to be or what was going to happen during the shoot The way the article is written it sounds like the scene was always going to be a sort of force sex porn scene which to my knowledge is something that Brazzer was warned not to do anymore when Visa threatened to stop allowing people to charge memberships to Brazzer on their Visa card if they didn't stop producing videos for their pornstar punishment series. This Brazzer did and actually removed most of the already uploaded videos from that series. So aside from the fact that you should never do that to anyone. Why even shoot a scene that Brazzer was probably never going to buy anyway? Long live the Brown Coats. | |

it's outrageous that this happened to Nikki. Brazzers goes back and forth on what they do and do not find acceptable - and they can always shoot before and after scenes to make it all seem consensual, or requested by the actress. Related to this subject, Keiran Lee, who is a contracted male performer for Brazzers, recently announced that he would be starting his own network and specifically told fans that he would be including PSP (PornStarPunishment) type material. | |

It goes to show that consent continues to be a serious problem in this industry. Nikki Benz is a contract star, a spokesperson, and is about as big a name as you get and yet nobody on the set took her objections seriously. It sounds like Tony T. has a history of this behavior as a director. I know that as a performer he was definitely on the roughest end of the gonzo scale during that era, so it makes sense that he would continue in that vein as a director. That said, naive old me assumed that the activities had been discussed with the performers ahead of time and consented to. It makes me worry that a lot of those women went home feeling violated. There are enough women who enjoy rough sex that the industry should never force women who don't into such scenes. I'm honestly pretty shocked that Ramon was involved in the shoot and continued with it while Nikki was yelling "CUT" and "STOP". That said, Ramon is probably paid a lot less than she is and was worried that the director wouldn't hire him again if he stopped. It was the wrong decision, and I think less of him for not realizing that in the moment. Consent is paramount. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" That's why kink.com always uses safe words. I mean... "STOP" could be interpreted as an in-character reaction. "CUT" on the other hand is pretty obvious. Rather unprofessional from Brazzers. IF all this is true. | |

^That may be true but Kink is still in deep shit with OSHA in part of something that happened on one of their sets where the scene should have been stopped and wasn't. I have no problem blaming Brazzer or to be more precise Mindgeek but let's not forget that it wasn't exactly a decade ago that Stoya accused James Deen of a similar thing and then all of a sudden a bunch of other women came out saying that they were also roughed up by James while filming scenes for various porn studios. I don't know about the rest of you but I certainly remember that not that long ago spitting, chocking, slapping and a general disregard for the comfort of the women was common in too many gonzo videos. Although we see less of this now. I don't think it's because the producer now care so much as there are simply less porn being made and less studios that shoot a more mysogynist type of porn.
