I have read it and I really enjoyed it. It is well-written and a very interesting look at one pornstar's life and experience in the business before, during and after - the good and the bad. She tells some great stories and although she doesn't always use people's names, it is fun trying to figure out who she is talking about and also going back and watching some of the specific scenes she talks about filming and watching them knowing what she was actually thinking during the shoot (not always thinking good things). It is well worth the read. | |

^ Thanks. I ordered the Kindle version a few days ago and I'm plowing through it every opportunity I get. For a porn collector most of the people she creates names for are usually identifiable - like when she calls Khan Tusion Pro Trusion. That one isn't hard to figure out. One thing that I had no idea of is how she was pretty much stoned for a lot of her life from 18 onward. I'm only a third of the way through the book so she's still telling about the first year or so, but the volume of drugs that both she and Trent took is incredible. I don't have any experience with hard drugs and I went back and watched some of those older scenes and I can't tell how stoned she is. I agree that it is fun to go back and watch some specific scenes after reading about them. I've never collected Ed Powers' stuff but now knowing that More Dirty Debutantes was her first video makes me want to see it. One other thing that I found surprising was the even before porn she was doing group sex, DPs and even double anal. Nothing I'll read in the book will make me less of a fan. | |
