New Members Thread! Hi! I thought it was time to start a new New Members thread! It's 2019, let's start something fresh! I'll start. I figured it might be a good idea for the rest of us to re-introduce ourselves. Hi Freddie and welcome to Porn Users! As for me, I am from Chicago and have lived in many other states during my adult life. I am back in Chicago where I spend my days collecting porn. I am 55 years old and have been gay all my life. I remember going to swim class and watching the teenaged boys in the showers wondering why they all looked so fascinating to me when they were naked. I went through puberty during a time when being gay was not very fashionable. I had to hide everything about my orientation for fear of discovery. I do remember buying my first gay porn and how I had to look around and wait until it was the right moment. I was in the military before Don't Ask, Don't Tell was introduced. If I was found out, they would kick me out unceremoniously. In a way I am glad about my struggles as it taught me much about who I am. The younger generation will never know this and it is hard to tell them what I went through. (Some from smaller towns and very conservative states and families still know this.) Porn Users is a great place for me to read and write reviews so other potential customers know more about a site before handing over their hard earned dollars/pounds/euros/etc. "Dogs think people are Gods. Hi I've been looking at porn since I first saw a stack of playboys at my neighbour's garage sale. I was maybe 12 in those pre-internet days and didn't have the guts to peruse but the cover photo of the mag on top of the heap was burned forever into my brain. My first PC was a kit bought from Radio Shack. The processor and RAM had to be soldered(sp?)by you onto the motorboard. Despite being this early entry into computers, my porn stash remains tiny compared to nearly all other members: 30 gigs, not counting backups. anyways.. welcome! Joined many years ago, lost my account, joined back up for good quality porn advice! Always been obsessed with the female form and that has never changed. I have a soft / hard spot for 70's and 80's porn and the way it was shot... same goes for Hollywood come to think of it. RDD | |

Don't know why it took me so long to find this site and this forum. As my handle indicates, I'm a collector of adult video material. I've been at this for over 35 years - yeah I'm that old. So given that, I do downloads only so that I can archive them. I've got well over 8000 items in my collection and more are added daily. Preference is for vintage ('80s and '90s) material. Problem is that the quality is not so good. I'm into video editing and video quality improvement. Some of the clips can be enhanced by carefully adjusting the lighting, saturation, contrast, etc. Pinnacle is my preferred app for this part of my work. (Yeah I still consider this to be work although it's probably the most enjoyable job I've ever had.) I'm still looking for a suitable cataloging / inventory app. If anyone out there has any suggestions I'd be glad to entertain them. Site reviews are most helpful - keep up the good work. Thanks again for this platform - it's been most enjoyable in the brief time I've been on it. The Collector 90% of porn is crap - but then 90% of ANYTHING is crap.
