One fetish that I've come across made me nauseous, and that's perhaps because it strikes close to home, and that's the emaciated look. I spend far more money and time on camsites than on porn these days. It's all live streamed, but that content also gets copied and posted to tube sites as well. The quality is horrible, but... bbobies! The result is that cam sites are more popular than ever. Content theft is a much bigger problem for producers of traditional porn images and videos, but I attribute the problems producers are having generally these days more to unemployment due to outsourcing and the crappy economy than to theft. People like spending money on orgasms, but if they don't have it to spend, they'll steal. | |

I think this future has already caught up with me. Nothing to do with DRM, but I currently spend far more on live streamed content than I do on archived video or photo sites. That's not to say that I don't like pics or video, but I find myself enjoying live content a lot, and it simply costs more because we are paying for the model's time directly. It is possible to capture the moment for posterity, but it's never the same as the live streamed experience. | |

If you think that Europe hasn't had to deal with "race" as an issue, you might want to check with six million Jews, two or three million Soviet war prisoners, a couple of million Poles and up to one and half million Roma whose experience contradicts that thesis, and those are only the ones who died. As Turbo says, Americans have had to deal with the issue since well before the Civil War. Articles about porn are blogged about on family values websites as much, if not more than they are on sites like this one. Besides, not all Christians are right-wingers, just like some porn fans can be fascists. The level of technology that enables porn-sharing is the same one that has led to an explosion in sexting and other types of widespread amateur porn production. Given the choice I'd just as soon the model not have any. I'm not a fan of tattoos, but some I've seen have been nicely done and suit a model's personality, and they haven't turned me off in the least. Badly done tattoos, are just bad. With piercings, it's the same thing. Navel ornaments and nose studs are usually tastefully done. Tongue studs and genital piercings make me a bit queasy, though, and very few models can make them work. They're definitely not as big a turnoff as obviously fake breasts. Piercings heal, and by the time tattoos start to get faded or *gasp* stretched out, there are all kinds or reasons why I will have lost interest in a given porn model, whereas fake breasts could turn me off in the prime of her career. | |

Getting used to a laptop is big change by itself. Getting used to a new OS at the same time can be daunting. You might want to hook up a keyboard and monitor to the notebook so that you can use it like a desktop while you are figuring out the OS. The downgrade to XP is always an option, and one I'd recommend if we were talking about Vista, but I'd suggest hanging in there with Win 7 before you make that switch. | |

Given the choice between paying more for cellular service or having our largest banks collapse, I'll happily get screwed on cell service. In the meantime, we already have many more choices with respect to wireless carriers today than we had a couple of years ago. | |

I haven't bought or rented porn DVDs since I started joining paysites. I'm so used to watching porn on my computer, I even watch my old porn DVDs on my computer rather than on my TV, and my tapes not at all. My guess is that some folks want to watch porn on their big screens and can't be bothered to futz around with computer-based options. I've used the registered version since 2006 and consider the purchase worthwhile. I guess it all depends on whether you find yourself wanting to download video or audio you can't capture otherwise. The WMV format is pretty straightforward, but I've had some problems figuring out the different codecs for AVI files. If all you want is Youtube videos, there are many free options which work just fine, and they download them for you in Flash Video (FLV) format, but those are never better quality than what you see using the Flash viewer in your browser. Realplayer is one of the most common, but there are lots of others. I'm not too familiar with other DL managers, so I can't compare options. DS lets you create rules for specific sites and lets you save passwords for sites that require them for each download, assign different download directories for different sites, delay downloads, and it lets you queue up downloads, so that one starts when the last finishes. The program has a lot of options, but you can ignore most of them unless you have a specific reason to change something. Anyway, you can try a fully functional version for 15 days for free to see if you like it and decide whether you would get your $24.95 worth out of a registered version. | |

If someone with your email address in their address book installs a trojan on their computer, the list of names and email addresses gets sent back to the trojan sender and you'll get spammed. Not only will you get spam showing yourself as the sender, you will get spam showing senders you may recognize, if you know other people or organizations whose addresses were also in the address book on the compromised computer. We've had people in our sales office get hit by this stuff and I, along with several very attractive co-workers of mine have been sending me offers of inexpensive blue pills and male genital enhancements ever since. I use one called DownloadStudio from Conceiva, which I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere here. It downloads pretty well, but that's not my primary reason for using it over others. DownloadStudio has an Audio/Video Capture module that allows you to capture audio and video on sites which can't be downloaded in other ways, like using RealPlayerSP. It allows you to designate a window to capture and you can save the video either in AVI or WMV format. | |

The next generation is horribly illiterate, for the most part. The worst part, however, is not that many of them don't write well or according to accepted standards, but that they are so miserably unread and revel in their ignorance. Cultural references that educated people have shared for centuries are disappearing from public discourse. I'm not concerned about lulz and d00dspeak. Every generation has its dialect. Well, the guy who founded it, Scott Bannister, made 800 million selling his anti-spam company to Cisco, so this site wasn't exactly started on a shoestring. It seems to me to be more of a topless glamour site than a porn site and I guess that's how they got Paypal to buy in. Plus the guy is pretty darned persuasive. They're trying to sell this as a social networking site with topless nudity. They don't sell ads, or user information, so that's an advantage they have over Facebook, et al. For a long time, I didn't like the idea of live shows at all, but I've come to enjoy them a lot. You may want to give them a try. My current haunt is Chatgf, which I just wrote up. The models start off clothed; sometimes fully, and sometimes in lingerie or a nightie, and they *always* undress fully, usually by the half-way point in the show, but there's no touching. In the end, there will be a need for subjective judgment calls. Slutty's list works for me in general, but, when judging a site, we'd have to look at what the great majority of the offered material consists of. There's a site called DSM Video that appears to be gone. From what I can tell, the content was something like Kiss Me Girl and Girlkiss, i.e., mostly-clothed girls kissing. I came across a couple of clips on my travels and I'm wondering if anyone had heard of the site and was aware of the material being available at some other paysite. I may be in the minority, but I don't have a big problem with sites putting a watermark or URL in their movies or on their photos. It helps people track down the source if they like the freebies. Heck, there are some contraband sites that put their banner on purloined vids. Sapphic Erotica is an example of a site that does it pretty discreetly and I don't find it too distracting. There are other sites like My18Teens that get carried away on some of their videos, but even there, I understand why they do it. The last thing those girls need is someone taking food off their tables.  | |
