Hi merc77, First of all nice to meet you and thanks a lot for your reply. I apologize sincerely but I’m not a native English speaker. I guess I didn’t express myself properly and therefor I guess you misinterpreted my thread. The first porn movies I ever bought were still released on VHS video cassettes. Once the DVD became a more popular media I bought the DVD version to replace the tapes whenever possible. After replacement I threw away the tapes. Some years ago I used a freeware called DVDShrink. A great application for its time. It could quickly scan a DVD and after scanning it showed the DVD structure. By simply tick or untick items you could easily tell the program what it should save and what it shouldn’t save. This was a very easy method for instance if you only would like to save one specific scene of a full DVD. No need for subtitles? No problem just untick them and you are ready to go. In a last step you could choose to save the necessary data to your hard disk drive or to a CD or DVD if you have CD / DVD burning software installed on your PC. I was a member on and off of several porn websites. After a while I started to collect all kinds of video formats and I got fed up with that although I’m using VLC player which is capable of playing of lot of different video formats. I decided to choose one uniform format and that’s MP4 for me. To convert my porn DVDs to MP4 I use a freeware called Handbrake. After getting familiar with all the settings this program does the trick for me. Sometimes I convert the full DVD in other cases I only convert the scenes I like. Single files I downloaded from several websites in WMV, FLV or other formats I convert via another freeware called Moyea Video Converter. It takes a lot of CPU power as well as PC resources and it takes quite some time to convert a file. So far the conversion part. I took a break for more than a year for everything related to porn and I’m only back collecting since last week. I don’t buy any DVD’s or Blu-Ray’s anymore because I’m too eclectic regarding porn stars and categories which would cost me a fortune. That’s why I started to subscribe again to porn websites to enrich my porn collection. Last week I signed up for Evil Angel, Dorcel Club and Dorcel Vision. I also made the mistake to sign up for Stiffia. Via this thread I was hoping that members could help me with advice regarding likewise website as Evil Angel or in other words porn studios that next to DVD / Blu-Ray releases also have their DVD content available for download via a website. I prefer websites that offer quality downloads. As I mentioned before I’m very eclectic regarding porn as long as it is hetero or lesbian porn (retro as well as today’s porn). BDSM and fetish related sites are also welcome. I’ll hope I have made more sense now and again sorry for the misunderstanding. Kind regards. | |

Hi peeps, I’m pretty new here and I was reading forum threads. I stumbled on this thread and I find this a very interesting thread. Organizing data is a very personal thing and I guess everyone has his or her personalized way of storing valuable data. Some years ago I started to store everything on an external hard disk drive. Unfortunately I lost twice my complete collection that I downloaded from a number of porn websites due to hard disk drive failure. Before I started again to collect porn I took the necessary time before setting up a new collection. I also took into consideration that since the birth of 4 K files disk space would again be an essential issue. I started to save up money and invested it into a NAS system. I don’t use any software to organize my porn collection like some people do. I still work with a system of folders and subfolders. It took some serious thinking and I changed a few times the way how my folder and subfolder system was organized. In the beginning I simply made a folder per porn star and stored the content I was subscribed to in subfolder. The main folder contained a picture of the porn star and a printout containing the stats of the specific porn star. Subfolders for the actual content were created on dates and not on a naming system (for example 2016-09-01). Each subfolder contained a folder picture, a print out of the gallery and the actual content being a video, pictures or both. These days I do it differently. I create one folder per website (for example Brazzers). The subfolders are now created based on the site map. I have one subfolder containing all the models, a picture and their stats. The other subfolders are based on what the site has to offer. A possibility could be that I create a subfolder scenes again based on dates and containing a print out of the scene, pictures of the models that are performing, a picture of the scene and the actual content. That is more or less how I organize my porn stash. | |

Dear Forum Members, In the past I frequently bought or rented porn movies. In the 80's I started to collect porn movies on video tape and later on I switched to porn movies on DVD. Because I'm pretty eclectic towards porn stars and porn categories this became a pretty expensive hobby. I was hoping to find a decent alternative instead of buying porn DVDs and Blu-Ray's. Although I have the necessary software I also want to avoid the time and effort to convert my entire porn collection that I still have on media to my PC. I'm hoping to find DVD websites that have their full collection online and where I can download the full movie no matter that I have to download the movies as one part or that I have to download each scene of the movie separately. VOD / Streaming Video websites are also welcome if they offer electronic download of each movie and if the price is less then the DVD or Blu-Ray. Important to me also is that the downloads are of very good quality with the exception of course of older movies and that the movies and scenes are the same length as they are on DVD or Blu-Ray. Dear PU Staff and Members, Looking for reviews on porn websites I landed on this great site. I'm 51 and I live in one of the smallest countries of Europe. I consider myself as a porn collector. Back in the 80's I watched my first porn movies and till the birth of the internet I frequently bought porn movies. I'm pretty eclectic towards porn and I like a wide variety of porn stars and porn genres from the Golden Age of Porn till present. I've been a member on and off of several porn websites. Some of which were definitely worth the money while others were promising but at the end rather disappointing. I'm sure that I can learn a lot from the community thanks to the great reviews, ratings and comments from users. In time I'll also want to contribute my reviews, comments and rating and I can only hope that they can be useful towards the PU community. Kind regards, | |
